They tend to be the most refined and developed pieces of equipement for a variety of reasons. Just like 'street' donercycles which borrowed heavily from the racing world and are a blast to own and ride. High-end motorcycles are way to much fun and way to dangerious for a person like me so I gave them up. My guns are vastly more safe.

In addition, there are only a very few semi-auto, military grade weapons in the hands of the public right now. Nobody is suggesting that we start selling them on street corners. First, considering where the public is at regarding weapons, get simple, standard weapons into peoples' hands. Let everybody get used to the idea of these weapons being carried openly by anyone everywhere. Then after 3-5 years, after folks get used to seeing and handling guns, move up to the, not semi-auto, but full auto.

Gun control is good idea. Buying and keeping gun is big responsiblity and in many countries people just not ready for it. We should learn more about it.

The whole 'semi-auto' thing is an absurd charade and it gives the game away. Most modern weapons are 'semi-auto'. If these scum can conflate ' semi-auto' with something which means anything, and can tuck it away in their volumes of regulation, they will use it to take advantage of the general ignorance among the uninformed population. Similarly the nebulous term ' military grade.' It's pretty obvious to all that 'they' plan to get rid of all weapons as soon as they can. Probably it's been posted here already, but: ... You just have to take that sort of moderate "We just wanna have common sense legislation so that our children are safe!" You say shit like that, and people will buy into it. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DsZulVQ6N9YAnd while I was looking for the above, I found this widely viewed one about the ' gunshow loophole' and other propaganda: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UEihkjKNhN8

From my point of view if you want to install a dictatorship in one country, what do you do? Take the guns out of the people so they can't defend themselves against the guns of the soldiers. Thats what was Chavez did in Venezuela, i saw it with my own eyes.
The best course of action is giving guns to the security guards in the school, install more cameras and strengthen security. Criminals will always be able to get guns. But they should fire against armed security guards and not against defenseless children.

I think gun control should be.Today even in a young age used gun to kill. There are so many news engaging about gun and the most problem on that is teenagers are the suspects. It feel so much pain in part of the parents if that happpened. Thats why the government should do everything for those who are using gun and maybe a law about how to control in using gun and the most important are the parents should be the one responsible for their kids.

Florida Senate rejects ban on assault weapons, votes to arm teachersAn amendment that would have banned assault weapons attached to a wider bill failed on Saturday in a largely party-line vote, in response to the Feb. 14 killing of 14 students and three faculty at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in the Fort Lauderdale suburb of Parkland.
The vote was 20-17 against the assault weapon ban, with two Republicans joining all of the senate's 15 Democrats in support of the proposal, the Miami Herald reported.
The full bill, the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Public Safety Act, is expected to pass the state Senate on Monday, then go to the Florida House.
After the Senate rejected the ban, Stoneman Douglas student Jaclyn Corin tweeted, "This breaks my heart, but we will NOT let this ruin our movement. This is for the kids."
Fellow classmate David Hogg, who has become one of the school's leading activists on gun safety, tweeted, "Elections are going to be fun!" Read more at https://ca.news.yahoo.com/florida-senate-rejects-ban-assault-weapons-votes-arm-154226849.html.

As usual, two of the RINOs betrayed their party and voted with the Dems. I never see this happening in the Democratic Party. They are always united and none of them will ever betray their party whip. The GOP will succeed only if all the RINOs in that party are ousted.

The GOP will succeed only if all the RINOs in that party are ousted. The representative from my area is a Democrat but is usually the lone Dem in the state who votes against the ever-increasing efforts to get rid of civilian gun rights. I vote for her for this reason...in other ways she is a classic Dem and very frustrated that we greedy citizens don't want to cough up even more tax money for public projects. My gut sense is that there are an increasing number of Dems who are on the edge of having had enough of this bullshit. Especially the guns and chicken-little eco stuff. Flipping some fraction of these could be a real help.

Guns nowadays are easily accessible and everyone can buy their own. Whether it be for protection or it can be used for assault or to take someone's life away. Guns are good if it intends to be for protection, to use it solely if there is an immediate threat to life. We should promote the control of it so that it cannot be used to harm others. Proper registration and also psychiatric evaluation can be considered if one is to own a gun.

My opinion is that gun control costs more lives than it saves. At the very least, it is a pointless endeavor that only serves to inconvenience those inclined to follow the law, and does nothing to stop those intent on breaking the law. I consider gun free zones to be, in effect, murder zones, because criminals are lazy, and don't like it much when someone shoots back at them. Schools, banks, nightclubs, movie theaters, event venues, etc are all gun free zones, they have also been the scenes of some of the worst mass-shootings in recent history. They are rich with targets that are utterly defenseless and at the mercy of a shooter, which is PRECUSELY why they are typically targetted for mass shootings.

With the guns spread all over the globe. I cannot imagine how a gunless society will start. Someone has to own one. This is how some people few about guns since they have to protect themwselves from different kinds of threat.

Our guns aren't going anywhere, the Govt. is not capable of taking them all. It's logistically not feasible.

They could pass a raft of legislation mandating chronic costs and hassles. Then any infractions could be used as justification for draconian punishments. This is how I would 'get the guns' if I were designing a strategy. The above strategy probably would get the guns out of the hands of most typical law abiding people, but not out of the hands of criminals who create problems for ordinary folks. That is actually fine with TPTB. Violent criminals are a very useful tool that TPTB can use for system control purposes and to justify 'official protection' in the form of paramilitaries. Both the violent criminal classes and the state sponsored paramilitaries are more effective in certain kinds of operations, and cost effective, if the general citizenry are dis-armed.

I think too many people are getting killed with guns. I think we should not sell guns to just anyone. They should be a cop, someone in the military, or something. Well I think just this.
