Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money?

If you can hold the coins for several years 10+ then it my give profits. However its better to collect more if not buy more. Its possible to collect from signature campaigns and trading here. Overall importance to building your stash and then sell it once you have generated enough profits.

The problem with holding bitcoin is that you never know how long you have to hold.I think the best option is keep buying and selling I.e trade if you want to make profit.
Lets say you want to hold for 5 years and prices fell after 5 years then you will have to hold more as you wont obviously want to under sell your coin.But if you keep trading during these 5 Years,you can make good accumulated traffic in 5 years and even if you then have to sell at low price,you still make profit

there is only a very small number of people being able to hold their coins for more than a year. all other people already struggle to hold their coins for a few months. these people are either short term minded, or they have no patience and dedication to hold their coins for more than a year.

yes i am also agree with you, i am also in favour of long term investment, long term investment can really give you a good profit, long term investment is also less risky than short term investment, therefore holding bitcoin for long term investment is a good option.

The longer you hold the easier time you will have making a profit bitcoin that is true but there is no need to let those coins in your wallet doing nothing, you can invest them and make some bank.

Usually it is but doesn't work every time because for those people that invested when the price was more than $1k for them holding until now does not worth much but maybe after a year or more it will worth if the price gets much higher than now.

Exactly, anyone can buy some coins with some spare dollars. Specially good for students who get a pocket money and they can put 10% of it into buying bitcoin rather than wasting it all on other useless purchases. It is just like a saving account where you get interest on though in this case the increment in bitcoin price is what is "interest". The price may fall as well hence I do not suggest more than 10%.

Holding bitcoin a long time is a very good way to make money cause bitcoin will raise in value in the upcoming years and probably with the next halving which is in 2020 alot of crazy price swings will be seen.
I will keep holding till atleast 2020 to see if the value changed alot or not.

Holding bitcoin for a long time is profitable when you have the ability to make close predictions about the price variation. Else it will not be profitable as none is sure that bitcoin moves only towards the increasing side. For this reason its better to fix particular price and sell when price touch the expected price than holding very long time.

you don't have to choose only one way of investing. you can do all the things you want with bitcoin.

for some traders that want to make more profit and take bigger risks they go all in for short term trading but if you don't want that you can divide your investment to multiple things.
