Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money?

Holding bitcoin a long time is a very good way to make money in my opinion. I am using that method right now and I can see my value growing in my wallet day by day.
You need patience for this method though cause withdrawing bitcoin everytime kills the idea.

Long term investing could be good for the bitcoin but right now I can not really say anything about it, I never did it and I think the bitcoin is also too unpredictable to tell you if its good.
I think it is good because of the future it has but I'm not sure about it, although the bitcoin is growing daily in users.

Holding bitcoin will be the best idea since it is expected to go much higher in the following months.i would advice to  keep more  bitcoins as saving and invest the rest of bitcoins in trading. but remember trading is risky.

Everything is risky here dude, even holding your bitcoins for a longer period of time has a big risk because in the first place we can never ascertain the future and there is a possibility that bitcoin will not succeed in the future, no easy way here because we only make profit when bitcoin also succeed.

Yes true I think it has a risk aswell but it's very minimal we know what bitcoin can reach and it will reach that if all goes well.
The most important thing is to have as many coin as possible so you can profit from value increase as much as is possible.

It is expected that Bitcoin will increase in price in the long run.  But how much you can earn depends on your holdings.  If you hold a small amount, I doubt that it will have an effect on your standard of living.  So if you are waiting for bitcoin price for a long run, I would suggest to continouesly accumulate it to have an impact on your life.

You can if you have a lot of patient in holding your bitcoins, the real opportunity to make great income is when you hold for the long term with the amount of investment that you find as decent. The longer you hold the better opportunity you can earn if the price will continue to increase.

If you would hold it, you need a lot of time to earn from your investment.. But it's definitely worth the wait...It's just that you could earn more if you would use your investment into something else to earn more, and yes, it's a good "LONG" term investment to buy a bitcoin today.. We should take advantage of the price while it is still not increasing or else we'll regret it later...

Some predictions are saying that in 5 years Bitcoin will probably achieve 1500-2000$ because the amount of Bitcoins will fall and the demand will go up. If you are seeing it that way then it's great long term investment. But things don't have to look that way in the future and the price might go down.
Anyway, I wouldn't take it for to long time without carefuly watching the market and making moves when necessary.

For me that is just a dream, until the time for the another halving is a short, everything will always running normally in this time including the price of bitcoin and me sure about that. I guess that is will take more than 5 years for the bitcoin.

I first got bitcoin from withdrawing from gambling sites.  I deposited with another method but could withdraw bitcoin so i did it.  Around that time bitcoin was around $220 usd or so and when i got it, i would then trade it for poker funds from other person etc because I didn't want to hold the bitcoins due to reading about price fluctuations.  However, isn't the value of bitcoin almost always going to go up so its best to hold it?  I know last year it was $600 and the highest was when it was more than $1000 per bitcoin.  But since it is all the way down to $200-$300, isn't having bitcoin always good?  Could bitcoin go all the way to 0 soon?  I had thought hey if you get bitcoin when its $230 when the price stayed like that for a long time, thats great b/c very hard for it to go below $200 because i haven't seen that.  But even if it does, isn't it almost always going to rebound and go back up?  Last time i had btc and it was $230 or so and now it went up to $260.  So if you have say 100 bitcoins... well... thats a nice $3000 profit or so.


I'm sure there are ppl that have thousands or bitcoins right and just hold on to it?  And many that would sell btc immediately if prices go all the way up?  If someone had say 500 bitcoin... then btc price went up $20 in say a week or so... selling it would net them $10000 minus fees right?  However if they sell it via localbitcoins or other method, they are going to get a higher profit right?  However if they do this, say sold all their 500 btc... then once bitcoin later in the year go up another $50... well that would be $25000 less they would have earned.



In general, isn't holding BTC always a good thing since the price of it is pretty low now?  Obviously if you bought btc at $600 or $1000 and thought it would went up and held on to your btc, that would been a disaster.  But since its in the $200-$300 range, isn't having BTC always good?

Which gambling sites are you referring to? They all have abandoned the idea. The gambling sites which are truly licensed i mean.

I dont think you will make much money byu holding the bitcoin for that long you know lots of people dont know waht they are able to make with the bitcoin and that is the
biggest struggle for them because they want to make much.

Holding bitcoin a long time is for sure a good way to make a lot of money it does require discipline to not spend the bitcoin and also patience to wait for price increases and the next halving which is in 3,5 years.

This is exactly my plan to hold bitcoin for a very long time to make profit and gain a lot of knowledge about investing in the meantime.
I think it's a good way to make money but no one can say for sure cause we can't predict future prices of course.

Investing while waiting is the best way to make money, you can multiple your money with investing, and if the price increase more you will get profit double than you expected, so why you choose only one option if you still have more.

It's not the best way to make money but possibly the best passive way though you rarely have to do anything except keep investing and keep an eye on prices every now and then so it's a nice way.

If you are just bought some you will not be millionaire but if you buy even 50 btc in that year you can be millionare here in my place but in other place like US 50 btc is not enough to be millionaire i think 1700 btc you can be millionare that you can sell it right now. .

Holding bitcoin is a lazy way to make money but it is safe way for me to make a good profit just to hold.. and it takes a long time before you can make a large profit.. so for me some of my bitcoin save for a long time and use other partial of my bitcoin in trading i want to increase my bitcoin so if the price will increase again back to 700 value above i can sell it and make more profit..
