Are you 100% on the "unappealable" nature of arbitration? That seems to run contrary to US law, but if your attorneys said that was the case then it just may be.
No, they are appealable.

Gotcha - might want to revise this, then - "Arbitration is binding (cannot be appealed)"

It cannot be appealed after it is issued because it's a agreement between the borrower and the lender. The borrower can ask for a hearing IF he specified that before the agreement.

So it cannot be appealed in the borrowers jurisdiction? That is what seemed contrary to some local law. Most arbitrations can be appealed, at least for certain reasons (fraud, etc)

Arbitration generally can be appealed under very narrow circumstances, again depending on your local laws.

1) Motions: borrowers can create a motion to change the loan terms, they are submitted to be voted by investors. boonies4u was the first borrower to use it.
We have placed a FAQ online, it will soon cover that new features, i will also announce it here. so uh, i cant find motions anywhere.

Can anyone give me more information on the "fixed income" plan offered at BTCjam? I've been hunting high and low and there's no explanation of how it works on the site either on the fixed income securities page (one listing with 28.16 APR) or in the FAQ.
Can someone explain this?

Please publish statistics: - amount and percent of overdue loans; - amount, perceived by BTCJam (Tulkas) from overdue loans since the creation of this SCAM site. What do you mean "SCAM site?" "Site run by scammers," or "site used by scammers?" If the latter, then bitcointalk.org is also a scam site.

Tulkas, earlier in the thread you hinted that although defaulted loans from before 30/03/13 could not be sent for arbitration, you would probably still be able to disclose their contact details. Do you have any update on this? Have your lawyers OKed it? Because there are about a dozen defaulters I would like to engage with in a frank exchange of views.

+1 - arbitration gets the binding statement that the debt is due, but Tulkas should still be able to provide the other details...

My 2 cents on BTCJam: I've had numerous issues with using the site and many complications receiving and investing in a loan, all of which could be assisted/fixed if they had a support that EXISTSED. I've sent emails and messages over and over again to their support Emails and none have which responded over the past 2 months I've had these problems. I've even sent the owner a PM and yet still no response.

Meh, I have been hoping to join them and work for them, either in a financial capacity (analyzing loans and building investment support) or even as just support help, since I think last November, but I hear from them once every month or two, quite sporadically. I think they just have communications issues or something.

Tulkas i would like a a little explanation of how loans tied to MtGoxUSD works, no information avaliable in the fact about them, the only thing one can find about it is by holding the mouse over MtGoxUSD and then this appeares: "This listing has its amount linked to the bitcoin exchange rate for MtGoxUSD. The payment size in bitcoin will fluctuate over time following the exchange rate for MtGoxUSD."
Lets say someone loans out 0,1 btc with a interestrate of 1%, when he will be paid back will the interest amount be affected by changes in btc/usd price or the whole amount ? If mtgox usd/btc is down by 10% for example when the loan is paid back what will people then get back 0,1+0,001*0,9= 0,10009 btc (0,9% interest) or will he loose on loaning the money out and only get back 0,101*0,9=0,0909 btc(-9,1% interest), hardly a great deal for the one loaning the money out then if that is the case, better to just trade themself on the market then.....

There needs to be added an option to define what persons that you yourself find trustwhorty so you in the filter for loans that is offereed can have only loans from those people on your "green" list shown.
Also in the stat field there is really a lot more to ask from it, as of now it shown
"Stats Active Loans 836 Open Listings 67 Loans Funded ฿ 15740.51 Repaid Loans 1171 "
How about adding a couple of more things and make the one you have more informative, by adding loans that are late, and loans that has defalulted and for loans funded not just show BTC amount but for all stats show the number of them and the BTC amount, so something more in the line of:
"Stats Open Listings 67 2 587.50 ฿
Loans Funded 3 419 15 740.51 ฿ ================ Active Loans 836 6 857.50 ฿
Repaid Loans 1 171 5 236.13 ฿ Late loans 499 1 145.37 ฿ Defaulted Loans 913 2 501.51 ฿
To give Investors and borrowers a more whole and true picture of things.

How long do I have to wait for a secured loan to pay out?
Under "investments", "investments", if you click on the loan in question you can usually see what day of the month the loans payout day(s) "every 10th of the month" for example or it may say every 7 days or something like that. Under "payments" you can see all loans that is to be paid to you and what days, and if there is longer loans you can scroll throu the months there to see further payment dates. Or do you mean that someone with secured loan has defaulted and your waiting for btcjam to sell the securitys, then i have no ide, that information seems to be missing in the FAQ. I guess a resonable assumption would be as soon as the loan is late or maby after a loan is 7 days late or something. Could also be when it's 30 days late or even 120 days late thou but such things really should be clearly specified, as the value of securities in mining shares for example can be something totally different if btcjam waits something silly like 120 days to claim the security of the loan.
