What's the worst mistake you did with your Bitcoin? It can vary from starting to use Bitcoin to buying dumped Altcoin to gambling.
The worst mistake I made with Bitcoin is... Buying cloud mining hashrate. I bought 0.02 GH/s CEX.IO hash rate voucher at SEOClerk for $2 USD - or maybe $1 USD. I thought with 0.02 GH/s, I would be making a profit in half a year.. And I was wrong.
Well, I bought using the free five dollars coupon. So that does not count as making a mistake with Bitcoin. However, the slow profit lead me to buying hashing power from CEX.IO and later on.. ZeusHash using the Bitcoin I earned from signature campaign.. Again, I thought I would be making profit in a few months. Till today, I'm sure I have not make any profit from both the company yet. CEX.IO stopped their cloud mining operation and.. ZeusHash.. What do you think.?
my only but very huge mistake was in bitcoins gambling, by mistake i bet 5 bitcoins instead of 0,5 bitcoins, and well i lost, that was very sad for me and my friend wanted to start bitcoins trading, but he bought bitcoins at very huge price, and he sold after first small price fall because he thought that price will go down in future too |

For just a small mistake and you lose huge amount if i lose big money like that i think i cant sleep for months and i will cry. But in trading you should monitor the price because if u buy high and it will dump so much in low price well you lose big money likr i buy thr coin for high price and now it dumps the price of coin into 4 sats my altcoin is no value now my mistake two. Cause very excited to buy low didnt i know it will dump more |

The worst mistake I made was that I bought some bitcoins at a very low price that is good. But when the price did go up a bit I sold them all. After I sold them the price was going up more so I could have made more money.
This is not actually a mistake. The mistake will be bigger if you wait until the price reached it peak and dropped back to even lower than what you bought at. I actually encourage people to play safe by not joining hype. A couple of years ago I was new and just introduced into Bitcoin. I had some money that I saved and wanted to invest that money into something. I bought some Bitcoins but the price was pretty high but I did not know this.
I believe that it is during the Bitcoin 2013/2014 bubble. You are actually not alone. I believe there is a few thousands people who did what you did. At that point in time, because Bitcoin price keep increasing, people predict that Bitcoin will reach 10 000 USD soon. As such, human typical response is to buy. |
So sad! This profile does not appear as the #1 result (on anonymous) Google searches anymore.
Time to be active on the crypto forums again? Proud to be one of the few Legendary members of the Sparkie Red Dot!
Gonna put this on my resume if I ever join a cryptocurrency/blockchain industry!

My worst mistake in bitcoin is investing on a HYIP sites and also on networking online donations..my money was lost they scam and scam especially those doublers in just 2 days .thats my worst mistake.

My worst mistake was that I didn't take Bitcoin very seriously at the beginning.
Probably even worse is that I had invested 2 BTC in an altcoin where I ended up with barely 0.3BTC as I bought at the ultimate peak.
I was too greedy. This is however nearly 2 years ago. After that I promised myself to never again invest in altcoins.

I was knew about gambling and investing when I known bitcoin. I've got attracted by investment site name golden cow so their site was unique so I decided to invest 0.05
At the first 4 days, they paid but something wrong when it reached 5 days. When I contact the support, he said that he did not involve into golden cow project anymore. I must bear the risk of scamming !

I think the biggest mistake I currently did was selling much too earlier. It's okay though, as I can easily reload my wallets with the equivalent of one Bitcoin and wait to see if the price will increase.

Worst mistake? I spent 10s of them when they were 12$ worth what would be great as i earn 500 euros per month working fucking 40 hours per week and even night shifts and imhalling magnesium all the time so lungs will be gone soon..

You can make back all those coins through holding and selling when the time is right |

You can make back all those coins through holding and selling when the time is right yeah but it is a really hard thing to do to be honest if you dont have a lot of money and its also hard to predict whether the price will grow or not so i doubt that will work the worst mistake i did with my coins was that i decided to invest it in a hyip that after a few weeks turned to scam, i have lost all my money that i have put into it |

At least, you learned your lessons. I have gone through the same scene, and it was fascinating that scammer managed to scam our Bitcoin with Ponzi scheme. I never thought of that before, and I was scammed once I realize that the 'business' that I 'invested' in was an outright lie. |

yeah, its better not to invest anywhere that is offering big returns because the risks of turning it to a scam are really high then and theres no need to take that much risk i think that my worst mistake was when i decided to send my money to other person as a loan without any of his details, of course he didnt return anything to me, though that was just 13 dollars |

Yeah. Always make sure to really thoroughly look into investments before making them. Bitcoin is covered in scams. |

I transfer it to wrong address and that was the worst mistake made by me at the initial stage when I was new to bitcoin, but I have never repeated that mistake again.
