Sounds like a strange idea, I wouldnt 'quit my job for pesos' so why is this a thing in bitcoin.  Work has to be done for a salary.   This kind of worries me because before house prices crashed, the phrase then was I earn more from my house then the job I do which was because the house price rose so fast it meant more money per week (not actual but in theory) then actual real earnings.

We now acknowledge that rapid price rise was not real or sustained proper income, of course it related to nothing.   Normal growth would have house builders earning money from development because thats work, a sharp squeeze in prices indicates deeper problems quite often so not sure why this topic is coming up now exactly

I would never quit my day job because I cannot create a value that is monthly available to life on, I think its not smart to do both is much better because if you want to do it only from bitcoin you need a constant value and that is almost impossible with the bitcoin.
I think everyone can do it both and it will be much better and you have more profit at the end of the month right ?

I don't think so. Unless they will pay me like 50 BTC per month.  Grin

who will pay you 50btc ? Roll Eyes
for me if i can earn 2btc/month i will go full time on bitcoin, i will focus for earning biotcoin, i will withdraw 1btc and save 1btc for future  Smiley
or maybe i will use 1btc for buying some miner every month.
it is not a difficult thing if you're willing to work hard. a lot of things you can do in bitcoin. even many people paid more than 2 BTC per month

I think also 2BTC/month is quite difficult. maybe you should have a large capital. like my friend in the trade he might he could get 2BTC / month or more. because it has a lot of capital.

Not that is not good. Than your live depends on a currency and that will be very bad. You dont know for what is going to happen in your life.
It better to see Bitcoin as a bonus. That will be good to earn a little bit money with, that will be good.

people use bitcoin as side job, trader, writer, publisher, blogger.
in future if goverment accept bitcoin as "real currency" i think more people will join at bitcoin and go full time on bitcoin
although bitcoin is not accepted by the government or the state. if bitcoin still has a high price. I will keep working on bitcoin. even if only part-time

Yes totally depends on the price of bitcoin, if the value is much higher then we can afford to work on it even full time, but if the price is relatively low then can't afford to quit the job.

you can go full time with mining + signature easily, if you know what you're doing, i've done it in the past, you need a solid plan first

even if something is not profitable for soem time, you can bet your ass that the profit will return again, in the time-frame where it is profitable you can secure the time where it is not

i think i'm going to jump on the altsection again

bitcoin only, mining + signature, but it's comparable to a regular job, there is no stable income, on the otherside, there is no reduction of your net earning, like in real life job...

I dont want to get my sorry ass in the streets someday. This bitcoin earning should be done with time stretching. No need to quit your day job. Besides, we have a great technology now. You can do it in your phone and in a laptop.

Time management! That is all you need.

No that is so stupid. I hope that of course the value will rise for a long time and that will be so good.
But you must see Bitcoin as a bonus and that is very good. I hope later that more people will use Bitcoin also.

Cool. Well here is the answer if it will be compared to a day job. I guess those who still have some questions can ask Sir Amph if he have the time to answer it though,  Grin

I will never quit my job for the sake of bitcoins, as I am not sure whether bitcoin will survive in future or not and if it doesn't then it would be really difficult for me to find a new job at that point.

It is very bad. You life will depending on a currency. And I think that is very bad. You can never know what is going to happen with your life.
And that will be a problem. Sometimes you are rich and sometimes you are poor. So that is very bad.

As for me, with the current rate, 0.05 BTC a day is enough. That was twice the amount of a minimum wage person here on our country. But to live abundantly , 0.1 BTC a day is a dream here. Trading is a good source of earnings and I am pretty sure you can achieve 0.083 a day as time goes by, just keep it up and good luckl!

I turned in my resignation letter 1 year, 2 weeks ago Smiley.  I have not worked since then and this was because I worked 2 jobs full-time.

Success comes at a price and I've learned money is something, but it is also not everything.  There are some things that money cannot buy.
I think I worked about 20 hours a day for a few months straight.
It started to impact my health and I was becoming miserable.

Have I gone full-time Bitcoin?   The answer is No.

I've decided to explore and invest more in myself.

More Industry Certifications, Masters Degree, and possibly J.D. soon.  I have people offering me 6 figure jobs a few times every week.  I'm not interested unless its actually something that will make the world a better place or something that pays exceptionally well.   In my case, money is not everything.

For now I continue to seek enlightenment and explore Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea, Japan for 3.5 months.

Yeah, it would be too risky to depend only on bitcoins for living, as if you quit your job at a moment and if bitcoin disappears in future then it would be really difficult to survive.

i feel i have the same outlook in life , money can get you places but it can never make you complete as a human being. you always need to work on your self to be truly happy, hope you have a fun time in asia!
