For me, bitcoin is money... So for me, your OP translates as:
Would you give up your old job, with pay in FIAT for a new job with pay in BTC

It would depend on the work, and the stability of the new job, i suppose?

right it you are true Smiley
all reason depends on the results, if you can get more money with bitcoin why not ?
but i prefer you to keep hard work at real job and smart earning at bitcoin

Like any business, bitcoin has its up and downs. I'm not one to gamble, so I don't think I will be quitting my day job anytime soon

I would never quit  my job for the bitcoin because I like the bitcoin but not so much and I also think its way too risky also.
I have a family to feed and I think this will maybe not possible with the bitcoin and it also can collapse, so I do not even consider.

but I think, if you can at least get a income 1-2BTC/month. you would think to try to get out of work and focus on bitcoin.

because at this time you do not get a satisfactory result from bitcoin, so you would think twice to get out of work.

If you have good skills then you can go for full time on bitcoin, but you also need to see how much income you are generating from it, and if its above your salary then you can go for it.

If I could make thousands of dollars per month I would stop working and quit my day job. But that is not the case and I doubt that it will happen in the future. I just use bitcoin to make something on the side.

The business related to bitcoin is still too small. I will do some mining only in the short term.

Are you sure ? There are many big business about bitcoin out there. But we need big bankroll/balance for starting a business. and if go full time on bitcoin is worth, why not ?

I think that would only happen if I lose my job. If it could keep up with taking care of my necessities then I might consider it. But for now it is to do my day job then make something out of this good currency.

I would consider this as stupid because there is just a big risks the bitcoin will collapse and you will also be broke because of that.
I think its better to just keep it as something you do in your spare time to make some extra dollars, its easy and also than not very risky in my opinion.

That is the right thing to do, never leave your full time job for the sake of bitcoins, as bitcoin doesn't offers you financial security for future that your full time job provides you.

You just said it needs a lot of bigger investment. Why face that if you can't afford. Better to start first by finding real life job rather than to engage quickly in an large and big business pertaining to bitcoin.

You have the right mind set.

Theres no need to face what you cant afford, it only would just hurt you and add stress thats not needed am I right lol.

Real life job is the way to go, but should be as a temporary fill until you get something going on..

yes there are lots of large businesses in bitcoin, it's just that they really do not look and perhaps rarely appeared in bitcointalk. so all there is nothing much to know about it.
I think if you go full time for bitcoin was very worth. especially if you have a method or a good way to do business in bitcoin.

I think I'll not quite my job just to get paid by Bitcoins. Because, I cannot use Bitcoin wherever I want just because, lack of merchants here.

you do not need to worry if you are cant using bitcoin wherever, simple you just exchange it to fiat money and you can use what you want.

Like in our country you can exchange it almost instantly. And you can withdraw it in an atm. So you do not need to worry about how or where you can use bitcoin. You should consider if you have enough bitcoin opportunities to earn more than your day job. If you earn less or just as much amount of money as your day job, don't quit. Just use bitcoin as an extra income.

you must be thinking about it carefully, to quit from your real job you might have a many plans if 1 plan it's not working you should have another plan tho, go out from your comfort zone is a good decision but it can be dangeorus if you can't handle it properly
just saying.

I think those gambling site will all be the winner if it is bitcoin that they are using. A lot of people that holds a coin gambles. Yeah big percentage. I am not a gambler since birth but when I see how you can double your money in an instant gambling is like pulling me to their websites.
