I don't care much about NZ or England winning the world cup but every time South Africa gets knocked out of the WC it breaks my heart I just want them to win ASAP because well they deserve it don't they? High class entertaining team.

In 3 of them, I sympathize with Black Caps only now, because their all player are kind-hearted even in intense moment-no swearing-sledding or any drama etc not to mention they play good cricket too.

I used to be a fan of Proteas but After ab de Villiers's retirement not much tbh. ( I still cheer for them in Red Ball though)

English Team, BIG NO...... I do enjoy watching the individual performance from the English side, still have a couple of Individual who I admire. but as a cricket team

or board, they lost respect from my side when they sacked the Kevin Peterson.

That's another thing that I believe England can Win this world cup.

They do not show angriness in anything. However in the recent terrorist attack was a shock but again this guy was not a Kewi, he was an Australian.

They do not show angriness in anything. However in the recent terrorist attack was a shock but again this guy was not a Kewi, he was an Australian.

Some outburst and react with the opponents, as in the quote even such attitudes can't be seen in NZ Players. Mostly Asian cricketers get into swearing, sledding and all. Mostly this happens at least once in every match between Australia against an Asian Cricket Team.

I would say the golden time started for Sri Lanka in 1996 when they won their first (I think) world cup. Arjuna Ranatunga was their captain.

Yeah Royse, I know. The team was the best but I have said "Golden time I have seen". That's why I mentioned the later time. I wasn't able to watch 96 world cup. I was a 3 years kid at that time.

I was 13 years old. Just started to know the cricket that time. That time I did have very little knowledge about cricket but I had well enough knowledge to understand an out, runs, 4s and sixes. Those were very early days of my teenage time.

  Same as you in my young age cricket has been my favorite game and it always made me so excited when the player hit the six or 4s but at very early age it is very hard for people to make prediction about wining and loosing of the team, time gives experience but to be a predictor it is very important to keep watching games and know each and every small details about cricket.

99% sure if i look at their history when playing big tournaments. 1% surprise factor is always there and not only for Kiwis and Proteas. it's for each team no matter what is the outcome. In recent time Limited over cricket became very volatile similar to BTC 

We all can only assume and predict the outcome based on available data.

Pakistan had good bowling attack. It's proven by history and in-fact this team has some very good blowers. I don't know the new guy who is 18. I think he is playing today. He can make a difference.

Edit: It's Mohammad Hasnain. I checked and he is not playing. I thought they took him for this series?

I didn't watch the Pakistan innings. Congrats to Haris Sohail, I never thought Pakistan will be able to score 280 against Australia although they are going to lose the match. Finch is on attack and scored 85. Easy win for Australia unless miracle happen.

Being a runner up does not mean they won the world cup, winning the world cup and participating in it is an entirely different thing  . New Zealand came close to winning during 1992 and after that they are the dark horses in every world cup and South Africa had one of the best players in their squad and still they did not come close to winning the cup and 2003 was the closest they came and Gibbs dropped the catch of Steve Waugh and the world cup and Warne bowled a magical spell.

Aussies are going to have an easy win I can see. 242 and only lost 2 wickets. 8 wickets in hand and they need 39 runs from 37 balls. The job is very easy for them.

Good thing that Pakistan scored but it was not enough.

Australia are two down and 264 runs, still 17 runs to be scored, but the match went one sided even when Pakistan played well but their bowling was very bad.
