The government is unable to prevent the terrorist attacks (unlike the case with India) and therefore I am not very surprised. Two years back, a single deadly attack in Parachinar resulted in the deaths of over 200 people.

This year there was a major attack against the military in India and it was a headline here in the media, so when it comes to terrorist activities both these countries are not safe, if the military is not safe how come a civilian be safe. The difference i see is that in Pakistan the cricket team was a target and all the terrorist want is to create news headlines and if there is an intelligence warning there is no point in taking a risk as these hooligans can strike any time.

This is the best decision overall and I applaud Malinga for helping make this decision. The Pakistan government have been advised multiple times by countries from around the world to minimize these terrorist issues, but I still don't see much of a difference.

Unless their government itself does something about this, teams will always have issues with touring Pakistan.

India always play political games, but this doesn't look to be game by Indian Cricket Board. PSL won't get to be success, because their is much lack in financial support as well there is none to take forward the event. After a long they've taken step to have a tournament in the home ground. This is being stopped for the moment for some reason. Possibly this will be shifted to some nearby country.

The Pakistan leader is a legendary player who took the team to the 1992 world cup and won the tournament and he will do anything in his power to bring cricket back to the country, but if there is serious threat from terrorist factions first they have to weed out every terror organisation in their country. If the series is changed they will be moved to UAE which is Pakistan's neutral ground for a long time.

The difference is that in India, the attacks have never occurred outside the troubled Kashmir valley since 2014. There have been no terrorist incidents in the major urban areas such as Delhi and Mumbai (which were targeted frequently during the first decade of this millenium). On the other hand, metro cities such as Peshawar, Rawalpindi and Karachi are frequently targeted in Pakistan.

It is a chain reaction. Terrorist attacks will discourage teams from visiting Pakistan. The PCB will lose valuable revenue and in the end the players are going to suffer. Those who are talented enough will try to participate in the dozens of T20 leagues that have come up all around the globe. But the unlucky ones will be pushed in to poverty and destitution.

Representative of the Netherlands was voted out during the ICC meeting, after the smaller countries such as Vanuatu organized themselves to get a better share of the ICC revenues. Not a very good sign, IMO. ICC can't give all the associates equal funding. Better performing teams such as the Netherlands and Scotland deserve greater funding when compared to smaller teams which field squads entirely comprised of expats.

India just pulled a match and cup out of the hands of the Bangladesh. Bangladesh bowled really well to restrict India at 106 But unfortunately  they could not bat well and they fail to chase this small title.

I don't understand what you gain by mixing politics and sports. This is a sports discussion board and it is best to stick to that. No country is perfect(India, Pakistan etc) and it is best to discuss the political stuff in the politics board.

It makes sense why countries like India and Sri Lanka are dropping the Pakistan tours since they wish to ensure the safety of their players. Player safety is the primary priority of any team basically.

Well both of the teams had their chances and India bowlers really bowled well to get Bangladesh all out at 101. Seeing India U19 cricket team bowling performance and commitment, you can say that Indian future of cricket is very bright.

Surprising... I didn't found any of the Indian bowlers that threatening. Even the guy who rocked the Bangladesh top order (Akash Singh) looked ordinary for me. Atharva Ankolekar picked out 5 wickets, but I couldn't find much variety in his bowling. Perhaps I am comparing the current U-19 team with the one we had two years back. Back then, India had two world class pacers - Kamlesh Nagarkoti and Shivam Mavi.

The fact is that the couple of posts above were discussing that Pakistan is a terrorist nation and that's why the international cricket do not return to this place which is not correct and i also pointed out who is the real terrorist in the present world.

Hmm can't help you if you don't even want to understand the context. guess you didn't even bother to read next comment which was posted by @indy.

There must be a reason of why players do not want to visit and play in that country ? Also this is not a decision of a single country but all the countries have together decided this. There must be some issues which only the local people can tell better.

Visiting teams were attacked in Pakistan before, and this is in everyone's mind whenever the PCB requests foreign teams to play their matches in Karachi or Lahore, instead of the usual home grounds (Sharjah, Dubai.etc). A balance needs to be reached between the two aspects. PCB is in bad financial situation due to their inability to host international matches. At the same time, the foreign teams can't be forced to play their matches in Pakistan, unless there is a great deal of improvement in the security situation.
