I personally have not heard any reports about the corruption McCain. I heard that he is not all right with the psyche, but it may be just a rumor. He is a war veteran, was in captivity and only one that I have is trust and respect. What can be said about Trump. I do not respect him.

McCain is a war veteran. He was savagely tortured while being held as a POW in Vietnam. But these are the only good points I have got for him. As a politician, he is as bad as Hillary Clinton and Elizabeth Warren. He is another shameless puppet of the oligarchs.

The people that were imprisoned with him tell a different tale.  McCain immediately began talking to get better treatment than the other prisoners.  He was made a trustee by the guards and had an easy time is what I read from their accounts..

Has it occurred to you to simply look at the heat transfer coefficients for concrete Q and establish how long it would take to heat a beam up to 400, 600, 800F?

Q will do you no good without energy input estimates.  I suppose you are saying that one end of the span heated up and the heat worked it's way across (since there was little or no fuel left under the part which could be seen in the vid and the grass there was fine?)  OK.  If the span is 20m x 0.5m x 100m, that's about 2.5x10^6 kg.  Heating that mass up to 800C with a specific heat of near 1kj/kg is around 2x10^9 kj or 2,000,000 Mj.  With an incineration value of 50Mj/kg, that's about 40,000kg of HDPE.  So at least that much material would have to burn up in that amount of time, put 100% of it's energy directly into the concrete structure, and the energy would have to stay contained in the structure and transfer evenly across the whole span.

In reality, a fire under the span would disperse most of it's energy to the atmosphere and relatively little to the overpass structure.

As for the Q value, I can tell intuitively that no amount of warming on one end is going to work it's way to the other in under an hour, much less enough to raise the temp to 800 C.  Just now I noticed an aerial view and the surface is wet from fire department hoses.  Both the standing section and the collapsed one.  That is exactly what I would expect just from doing things in the real world.

Also, in actually looking at the pics I'm probably off on my span size estimates.  But the contention of heat transfer is so absurd that it doesn't matter much.  The theory is still a joke.

Its not just Israel, it's the money. But there has been a certain pandering to Israel that is a bit over the top this administration (Obama's administration did the same, but did this odd little dance of doesn't support/doesn't condemn). Now we have clear, unabashed support (with a bit of the same finger wagging). Now, I'm having a bit of trouble understanding why Assad would do this, now.
