I know what you feel man i do really question myself why those people do hate bitcoin soo much since they had already make use of it in the past.Now they saw that ETH has a potential and can make some good advantage versus bitcoin they do try to say not good thing about it which is really frustrating. I don't think that ethereum would be able to surpass Bitcoin in next few years as Bitcoin is one of the most popular cryptocurrency available out there. It has the largest market capital and many people out there only know about one cryptocurrency which is Bitcoin. Ethereum is making good progress without any doubt but i don't think that it will surpass bitcoin.

Ethereum might be in hype and have lots of improvement but its basis or origin were still based on bitcoin, bitcoin being having greater amount and features ability and being able to easily adopt by its user makes btc greater than eth knowing soon it can pump again.

Investing in bitcoin and ethereum also  good. The topic started last few years ago and those people boight ether in that year for sure they will earn a lot of profit if they sell this today. Just like there are multiple fiat currencies today there is nothing wrong with having multiple cryptocurrencies too. Bitcoin and ethereum can coexist and compete at the same time. Personal I think bitcoin is much safer than ethereum because ethereum got a much larger attack surface than bitcoin. Another DAO hack will make ethereum drop like an anchor into the sea.

You can't please everybody. ETH is really good to invest however, I think its more of a pump and dump coin unlike bitcoin who we already know, has a full backup of a nation, Japan. I think you are right, investors will go back to bitcoin once the issue has been resolved regarding the high transaction fees.

that is true. try to split your money into many coins and you will have a successful reward. Bitcoin is good but it only the beginner of the new technology, there will be more and more cryptos which have chance tot replace bitcoin

in fact that is not so easy, Etherium cannot pass bitcoin. bitcoin has more potential as compare to the price of Etherium, i think we should not compare Etherium to bitcoin. but if we compare Etherium to other alts coin then i will select Etherium because Etherium volume most remain as more as compare to other currencies.
