Being aggressive would make sense if we had a chance of making real threats with our passed pawn on a6. After 32.bxa6 Qxd2 33.Qxd2 Rxd2 black is in time to stop our pawns. If we don't trade queens black can either win more material or create threats against our king. We just don't have enough time or material to promote our pawn on a6. |

I was under the impression you guys were about to resign last time. Anyway, taking with the Queen instead of the Knight would have been slightly better, leading to Q vs Q+B. I gave the variation a few pages back. Now it looks like it's gonna be Q vs Q+R. Oh well it's been lost for a while now, hopefully we'll have a better game next time  |
