price is not going up. any updates from dev.

We have finished the extensive frontend UI and are currently working on the wallet function for the upcoming release.

Any ETA on that?

In the near future, but we can't confirm a definite date right now. Since deadlines too far ahead of the actual release just cause problems, we will announce the launch date once we are getting closer to the finish line.

Since PHANTOM and SHIFTHUB not only rely on each other but also need a GUI to be operated efficiently, things will move quickly after this release. We have some other projects and ideas planned.

How long did you leave your miner on the pool? It might take a while for your average hashrate to settle.

if they are using clymore miners, they don't need to generate dag file anymore, saving time on that

why are you supporting pool mining when it doesn't befit the coin at all having pool ! it only benefits the miner and balance out their earning Avg .

You should be helping everyone solo mining and help the network with nodes and propagation speed

maybe working on the wallet and having built in miner and easy to use GUI access for the noobie to start mining on their own machine

Shift already host some nodes. Also people can run them. Look better on roadmap. There will be some parts which will support nodes on network. This is dagger algo and from relaunch difficulty goes up, block number, dag size, miners thats all factors which will eliminate solo mining (if we talk about 1 GPU not some rigs). So later it will be just harder solo mine.

This pool software looks more profitable like others implementations so we decided start it. But it is still on miners on which way they will go.

Any amount of hash benefits the coin be it solo or pool mining. And instead of putting our faith on factors we can't influence, we prefer offering an official pool that is under our control, as a backup solution or simply to avoid hash centralization from pool miners.

As Eric pointed out, one of the next projects to commence are SHIFT's very own masternodes, nicknamed STAKENODES, which in the beginning will be focussed on offering incentives (share of the block reward) for running a node.

UPDATE MAY 12: LIVECOIN EXCHANGE ADDITION

We are happy to announce that SHIFT is now listed on LIVECOIN.NET.

Based in London, Livecoin is an impressively active exchange with a daily volume higher than the
biggest exchange we are currently trading on.

Getting paired against several FIAT currencies (EUR, USD & RUR) besides a BTC market and gaining a lot of
exposure to a new audience, we are happy to get listed on a currently still very exclusive exchange.

Be sure to follow their Twitter account https://twitter.com/livecoin_net for the official
announcement. Deposits, transactions and trading are live already.

Happy trading!
