The game is over as AC Milan has gone on to comfortably win Napoli by 4 goals to nil. I must confess, I had thought Napoli would go on to win the game but I thought wrong. I’m really disappointed in some of the games played today as they didn’t meet my expectations.
The absence of Osimhen may have had an effect on the performance of the team as they may have come to rely on the abilities of the player too often.
Good game for AC Milan as they had made good use of the opportunities they had while having less of the ball in their possession during the game.

TBH, I'm very surprised with the result, I never think to see AC Milan won with 4 goals and Napoli made 0 goal. It is Napoli home, they shouldn't be defeated with big goals since they have the advantage in this match. Although Victor Osimhen was absent, Kvaratskhelia and Zielinski can play. At least, Napoli made some goals. It is shameful to see Napoli perfromance in this match. Now, I'm starting to feel afraid about Napoli perfromance in UCL. They will play against AC Milan on April 13. This may bring bad impact on Napoli players' mentality.

I was really surprised by the results of the match between Napoli and Milan today, Napoli's crushing defeat of Milan 0-4 was really surprising. This is a very embarrassing result. Maybe Napoli weren't at their best because they played without their main striker, but lost 0-4 without any goals coming back at home to Napoli? This is unbelievable. I even really believe that Napoli can overcome Milan who are very inconsistent. However, the results were so surprising. AC Milan’s victory would surely feel special and would give them a much needed morale boost when facing Napoli in the first leg of the quarter finals of the Champions League. I think almost everyone has given up on the idea of AC Milan defeating Napoli in the champions league but with this victory, people are reminded that AC Milan is still a strong contender for the Champions League trophy.

It turned out that the bookies had already predicted it they are not sure  Napoli will win until finally Milan really beat Napoli

I had completely forgot that they will face each other also on the Champions League but I think that this was just a mistake from Napoli not focusing completely on this game as they are a lot of points ahead of every one in Serie A so I don't take this as an eye opener.Milan has been one of the most inconsistent team that exists for this season in Serie A and even when they qualified in Champions against Tottenham it was more luck than merit as they defended in the return leg against Tottenham.

Besides, UCL is a completely different tournament from the local leagues.  I have seen teams not perform so well in the local leagues but then go ahead and win the UCL and vice versa.

I think this lost game of Napoli is because everybody betting on them and they screwing up everyone,it will happen sometime that a great team will have a bad day.I hope this game raises their odd to qualify in Champions as I am going to bet a lot of money on them to qualify further,I am sure they can beat Milan.

I do think Napoli should take this as an eye opener cause it is and should begin to go over on what they did wrong in the recently played game so it wouldn’t repeat itself again.
Irrespective of AC Milan being somewhat inconsistent this season, I wouldn’t say it was just luck that has carried them through the group stages and into the quarterfinals of the Champions League. They’ve worked really hard and fully deserve to be where they’re currently at.
Napoli should not underestimate Milan cause we could very well see a repeat of todays score line when they meet again in the Champions League.

Very surprising of course. The result of the match was truly beyond the expectations of many people. I didn't expect Napoli to lose 4-0 at home to AC Milan, even though the Rossoneri were on a bad streak. Even though it no longer affects the standings, a result like that will certainly have a negative impact on the team. What a great performance of Milan we saw today. It's really unthinkable.  Milan beating Napoli 4-0 was incredible.  Milan made the impossible possible today. Napoli have nothing to do but be embarrassed today. AC Milan now occupy the 3rd position and now their target is to overtake Lazio to move to the 2nd position. However, it is possible for Milan to overtake Lazio.  However, with Napoli still 20 points ahead, it is very difficult to overcome them. So even if Milan beat Napoli today, it is doubtful that Milan can overtake Napoli on points table.

This was the start of their fight. Actually, in this case, I don't regret Napoli's defeat because they will definitely have several matches like this, especially since it doesn't really matter whether they win or lose in the standings.

I wouldn’t say AC Milan’s victory was borne out of luck alone. They had played really well and fully deserve the 4 goals they scored that ultimately gave them the victory. Simply put, Milan dominated the game and outperformed Napoli. I too didn’t anticipate an AC Milan win and definitely didn’t see Napoli conceding 4 goals.

Osimhen is but one player and football is a team effort. No matter how good and instrumental he may be while playing, there is only so much he could do on his own.
With the loss suffered by Napoli, they should restrategize in order to perform much better when they meet again in the champions league quarter finals.

I didn't watch the game, but I don't think the Champions League match will be similar to tonight's match. AC Milan needed the points, and they sought and earned them. Napoli doesn't need the points, and their positive streak without defeat at their stadium was broken with the loss against Lazio. Therefore, the incentive to win or avoid defeat is weak. However, they remain the top candidate to pass to the semi-finals and finals of the Champions League.

Regarding the current performance of both teams and their previous results, I find it unexpected and the most surprising part is the number of goals scored by Milan. They owned the game and Napoli altogether.
Napoli players were out of the game like it doesn't worth anything for them which should not happen even if they almost guaranteed the scudetto.
Next game between them in UCL will give us a clearer idea about which team is better.

It's good for Juventus to keep their record one more season at least. However, if ignoring the record, this defeat of Napoli and also a win for AC Milan is bad for Juventus. They lose a good chance to reduce gap with AC Milan. In addition, AS Roma won against Sampdoria too and Juventus now have 6 points less than Inter Milan and AS Roma at fourth and fifth positions. Both clubs have 50 points totally while Juventus have only 44 points totally.

Champion Napoli was defeated at home this time. It was a shocking defeat for them, but it cannot be said that it affected them much in the standings. Milan played very well and got 3 very important points. Beating Napoli at their home was no easy task

This defeat is not harmful for Napoli chance to win Scudetto but it happened only 10 days before their first match with AC Milan in Champions League quarter final. Leao and Saelemaekers' goals were legendary. They scored as if the Napoli defense didn't exist. The champion team had the right to be defeated like this when they opened such a point difference, no one can say anything about that. They will face Milan in the Champions League, then they have no chance to play like that. They should learn from this game and prepare for the Champions League game.
