They sold those players and got huge money for their budget. After Klopp era, they are maintaining this strategy very well but they are losing power to fight for the champoinship in Bundesliga.

Let's see how this transfer season ends for Dortmund and if they will still lose more key players, they will only get good financial budget and on the way to become another Arsenal.

This is very true of Borussia Dortmund. At a time they used to be one of my teams for taking a win bet in the Bundesliga but now, I just don't know how they got so wasted. You can never predict them, they loose the unimaginable games. So bad! Funny you had to bring in the Arsenal analogy, lol.

Dortmund's performance throughout the season was unpredictable. They have been defeated by easy opponents. On the other hand, they have defeated a strong opponent. If they can maintain the continuity of performance, maybe they will be able to fight for the title. They need a skilled coach.

Bayern Munich are the beast in Bundesliga and other clubs almost can not beat Bayern in many seasons. If Bayern lost championship, they got it back very quickly in next one or few seasons.

They buy the best players from opponents in Bundesliga and destroy opponents' power. It is why they are always the beast in Bundesliga.

There is never a thing like Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga and could not be with the rate of slow progress on the parts of the available teams ta the moment. Bayern Munich is just too good for there present league Bundesliga. There is apparently zero competition for them and as such, you don't see them putting in there best everyday else, it becomes ridiculous. The only teal that could have posed some sort of challenge would have been Leipzig but then, inconsistency when they are close to being an actual threat always makes them drop.

They have lost two great defenders and they lost their manager, that is very important aspect to lose, specially the manager part because Nagelsmann is one of the best managers in the league, evident of him moving to Bayern which is by far the best team right now, that is the power of being a super team you can just get the defender and the manager of your closest rival. Furthermore I’m really surprised by Upamecano situation, because he’ll have to report for Leipzig training till July 15th despite sealing his transfer to Bayern.

Maybe you are right. But this season, Leipzig's performance really deserves praise. In the middle of the season, I thought Leipzig would win the season title, perhaps the Bundesliga being freed from the dominance of Bayern Munich. But that did not happen. As usual, Bayern Munich won the title.

I am not entirely sure if Leipzig will continue to be great next season as well. They have sold some of their greatest players and they are also getting their manager taken by another team, we are talking about a team that will not be starting from zero but they are not going to be the same team neither.

So, we need to see who they will get, they didn't really do a world superstar transfers before the season neither and now they have a good amount of money that they can spend as well so maybe they will do even better with this much money and get players that are even better or will shine better, and that could lead them to be the only opponent to Bayern again. Or maybe they will be destroyed by the missing pieces and they will not be good at all and finish barely in top 5? We do not know what is going to happen until the season stars and they play a few games.

I also think that this is the end for Leipzig at least for now. They had their best chance to become the champions in the last season but they missed it. Now, they will most probably have a tougher year and have a big difficulty in even finishing in top 4. But they did a really good job certainly.

I don't know if it is that drastic as you describe it. Winning the Championship (as the last 9 years have shown) is almost impossible anyway. I still see them as a top 4 candidate. They have a good balance and not too much is happening really. They lose two players I believe? Upamecano and Konaté. Yes that is tough but still they have a competitive team on the pitch against teams like Leverkusen or Gladbach. They may not be able to compete as well with Dortmund and Bayern, but against the other teams they are definitely strong enough.

If they don't lose their important players on their attacking line, then yeah you can be right of course. Because as you said, they will still be strong to beat nearly all of the teams in the Bundesliga. It really depends how strong squad they will have after this summer.

It is going to be interesting. Also, when Leipzig doesn't perform as well anymore, it goes to show how brilliant of a coach Nagelsmann is. He did a great job for sure. So may no names in his squad and still competing with the best. Respect (at that age!).

A similar business recently almost sent Monaco to the lower league. I understand everything perfectly, and each club finds its own niche, but such a technology can not endlessly give results and train or buy players only for the sake of subsequent sales should not be the goal of a club pursuing serious goals, because the players themselves will come to the club as a temporary option for a career. Klopp was obviously amazing for Dortmund, one of the reasons why he was capable of going to Liverpool and he became such a big name there as well. However both on dortmund and now on Liverpool he is having the same problem.

When you have just one tactic and one tactic alone that would mean that eventually others will catch up and figure out and make a change in their own tactics for whatever you are going to do, because you are now very predictable. If klopp was in dortmund right now, maybe he would have 2-3 good seasons but he would have started to be bad because Bayern would be ready to throw new stuff at them.

To bring back the glory of Dortmund is not enough to have an experienced coach. But a good squad is needed, and I agree Dortmund will
still need Haaland next season as a goal machine. Therefore Dortmund set a high price, so that Haaland could stay at Dortmund for at least
one more season. There have been many offers that have come from many big clubs to get Haaland, but Dortmund have always turned them down.
Even the latest news Man City began to make an initial offer to Dortmund to be able to get Haaland, but I'm sure Dortmund will turn down the offer too.
