I asked about Schalke 04 which is bottom right now. The reason is they just returned from the second caste in Germany after the previous season they were relegated. They are actually a mid-table clan that can provide competition there. They even became a club that fought over tickets to play in Europe 6/7 last year (if I'm not mistaken). But now their differences are very visible, they have not been able to improve their performance to compete even tighter at least in the mid-table.
This season they have only collected 9 points from the 15 matches they have made in the Bundesliga. They are 5 points adrift of the safety limit of the relegation zone, it is very difficult for them to boost their current position.

schalke has had a bad record since this season started, of the 15 matches they have played, 10 of them were defeats,, By only managing to collect 9 points so far, I see it will be difficult for Schalke to escape from the relegation zone. the bundesliga will restart on January 21, 2023 and schalke's first opponent will be frankfurt, I doubt schalke will be able to win in this match, their chances are very small.

First 15 rounds completely disasters for the Schalke as they no near the best which is required in Bundesliga for staying in middle or upper portion and if they keep doing like this and not having any changes in their squad in coming Winter transfer window then most chances they could be again out from here and need another effort for having place into Bundesliga because currently most of the teams are doing good and having better result, but they are having just two wins and three draws from their current stay into league with now Frankfurt is next which will also not allow them to have any positive result which mean they are going to stay here at bottom few more weeks.

After long break now we still have 23 days lest in start of second half of this season with this all look like things could be interesting because first match is going to be played against third spot team RB Leipzig which is also doing good and have fair chance in this season and this match could be vital for their chance because this will give the best review about their strength specially after selling of their top scorer Nkunku to Chelsea otherwise as we all also checking another team which is consistently playing good from the start of this season is Freiburg they also can give surprise with too many injuries hurting Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund is also having not good time in first half of this season with their performance and injuries.

Union Berlin has been a team that mostly has been playing ins 2nd Bundesliga and the fact that they were leading the 1st Bundesliga for sometime it didn't mean anything for me,I was expecting them to go down further in the standings,I saw their going down since seeing their performance in Europa League where they lost against a team from Belgium,Royale Union and Belgium has somewhat a weaker league than the Bundesliga.

I would be very careful when placing a bet on Union Berlin despite them playing against Hoffenheim while Hoffenheim being down in the standings,the odds are already 2.10 for Union Berlin that is playing at home meaning it won't be that easy.

Unfortunately it's never too easy to predict a game no matter who plays who. This time it's even closer because you never know what Hoffenheim could do, just look at last year and while Bayern was bulldozing everyone they failed at Hoffenheim. Same could always happen, you never know because the inconsistent results cause the difference in the points.

This doesn't mean Hoffenheim is worse as a team just because they are lower in the points, some times they are better, but mostly they are worse, and that is why there is a question mark about if they will be better today or they will be worse. I am sensing UNion Berlin will win, just like everyone else, but it won't be easy.

I agree they do not stand a chance because of their terrible they have now. Frankfurt coming out form a very productive season which was last season and they have successfully carried that form to this season, therefore, I think that Schalke stands no chance against them because they are currently struggling in the relegation zone due to bad form and poor management.

They are training hard to stay in the Bundesliga, this is a very difficult season for them, besides that it will be a long season for Schalke if they don't improve. They have to make a big breakthrough regarding the management, coaches, to the players who are currently in the squad. Before that they must first get out of the relegation zone, because then maybe their morale will increase again to continue this season's competition.

if we look at Bayern Munich, they are only 3 points away from SC Freiburg, and even then, if Bayern Munich loses several games and SC Freiburg can maintain the game without losing points, of course SC Freiburg can get rid of Bayern Munich at the top of the standings

The point difference that is not too far in the Bundesliga standings makes the winner's throne still wide open for SC Freiburg and Leipzig as second and third in the standings, so far Bayer Munich's performance has been consistent in its game, but in terms of performance each team always fluctuates and that's it. it happened on the field, so to say that Bayer Munich is the winner this season I think is too hasty, but if Bayer Munich is one of the strong candidates to win the Bundesliga I believe in that.

Nkunku is currently the leader in top scorer table with 12 goals. He is like one of the numbered scorers who haven't made any assist in this table but this contribution is still pretty big for Leipzig. Maybe we don't see any official update on Transfermarkt about him but he is joining Chelsea by next summer most probably. This will be a really big loss for Leipzig surely. Because even though there are four strikers in the team now, only Nkunku is making a big contribution to the team.

There are Andre Silva, Werner and Poulsen as well but even the number of goals this trio scored is below Nkunku's. After Nkunku leaves Leipzig will need at least one of this trio to play more effective to stay productive. For that, I see Silva and Werner having the biggest potential.

The last few months from Schalke have not been very good. At place 18 in the table they have to use the winter break to score enough points in the second half of the season. Otherwise they will be relegated straight back. There were problems in the defence as well as in the offensive. The new coach and the internal solution of tje new sports director must show now that they are putting together a good team. Schalke was unlucky that some defenders were injured. They seem to be healthy again now.

I also had doubts about Schalke when they faced Frankfurt, after all Frankfurt has also looked so consistent this season that it has managed to occupy fourth place so far. And Frankfurt will definitely look at the game with schalke as the best chance to get full points because Frankfurt needs to maintain its current position besides, Frankfurt also still expect a good improvement in their performances after the world cup and also an increase in their position.

At least, Union Berlin made a difference even if it was just a few weeks. their work ethic is extraordinary, even with mediocre players. they played their matches with enthusiasm and hard work, and unfortunately their struggle had to be stopped coupled with a fairly busy match schedule. in the end, Union Berlin slipped and had to settle for 5th place in the Bundesliga standings. December is coming to an end, and the Bundesliga will soon be rolling again. I doubt Union Berlin will be able to improve their game again. in fact, to maintain its ranking in the Bundesliga standings must be paid with hard work. IMO, most likely Union Berlin's ranking will be overtaken by Dortmund. in fact, I'm quite optimistic, Dortmund will finish in the top four until the end of this season, provided they don't sell some of their core players.

Dortmund wouldn't part ways with their crucial players in January. Even if they sign an agreement with a team they would be okay to only sending players by the end of the season. Otherwise it would be a big problem for them in the rest of the season. They need those players to have a good season in the Bundesliga and Champions League both.

But it seems like they will lose Bellingham in the first place. It is very difficult for them to keep him as long as the player wants so. However Dortmund are accustomed to these scenarios and this is their business model in the end.

Obviously, they are not going to stay in the Bundesliga this season. They are absolutely at the bottom of the table and they have only two wins in 15 matches. The best thing for them to achieve is going to be finishing the season outside the relegation zone.

But I feel like they are aiming for finishing in the 16th position and again they will fight to stay in Bundesliga. The injury can change his career to a negative direction but of course I wish best things for Nkunku. He is still young and he must be stronger from this injury to return. Getting an injury is never easy but some players with more serious injuries like Aaron Ramsey still managed to return and had good career.

With this injury record, he will have smaller opportunity to join Chelsea because it becomes more risky for them to buy him. Players will bad injury records might never be able to return to their best.

It is difficult to predict which teams will be in the relegation zone now. Because there is still a long journey ahead. Each team will play about 19 more matches. So now even though Bochum is in the relegation zone, if they perform well in a few matches they will be able to get out of the relegation zone. And after winning the last two matches Bochum's players are now very confident. I think the Bochum team can get out of the relegation zone very soon.
