If they can choose from options, they will do it by choosing a potential young goalkeeper. It is good for their plans in many years and matches with their strategy. However, they won't have too many choices in January market. Whenever we talk about Bundesliga it's always about Bayern Munich taking the lead while all other teams are not even near to them and they are each season one team can be a competitor for them while theywill suauly fail and they will usually lose their stars and good players so they won't be able to act good for next season while Bayern Munich is the only stable team and also this season we can see Freiburg is team to race with Bayern Munich while in the end they will lose the race like other teams in the past.

But in this Bundesliga we have to wait longer to see the league running again. I think best is to let him go anyway. He is 34, his contract is about to expire in around 6 months so if you ask me they Gladbach should take the transfer fee out of this deal and get a new goalkeeper. Most of the time we have break in Bundesliga from December to January but this year due to world cup mostly feeling It's very long as World Cup started in November, and now they are on their regular vacations so if Bayern Munich is taking good advantage of this all then surely it's not from any side it's quite natural.

Rumor has it, Bayern Munich seem to have found a goalkeeper to replace Neuer. the Bavarian team was forced to hunt in the transfer market this winter. I doubt with financial fair play adopted nowadays after many richest team success fraud it from Manchester City and PSG are spent much money for recruiting new player and less of both team success sell their player with higher values.
