He had many better performances for Tottenham, scored more goals, made more assists but Bayern Munich need his contribution in big matches as it is more helpful for them to win titles especially in Champions League. An assessment on a player like a success or failure in a season is very slim. In the past season we see Choupo-Moting was considered as a surprising success for Bayern before World Cup 2022. However after his bad tournament for Cameroon in Word Cup, and his poor performance in two matches with Manchester City, he was no longer considered as a successful replacement for Lewandowski.

But on the positive side, we can say that in the last season of Bayern Munich, they did not have a proper striker. But now that they have Harry Kane and probably perform better. They will probably be consistent as well.

It was a late score by Malen. He was the reason why Dortmund was able to get three points from that match.

I just have seen today the review and best scene of that game between Dortmund and Cologne and i must have to say that Dortmund was very lucky to get this 3points.
So its more a crazy storie how the goal was scored as the coach from Dortmund wanted already to get Malen out from the match and wanted to bring Jamie Bynoe Gittens for him.
But that change was not possible as other players asked to get out , so yeah im happy that Dortmund got the points even they dosnt have played very well.

I understand Barcelona's interest in Sane. Because they have newly lost Dembele and couldn't do anything about it as PSG activated his release clause.

Now they want to find a replacement for him before the end of the summer as it seems. But Sane would really not leave the team that easy. He is a valuable player for Bayern Munich above all else. I think the result between Leverkusen and Leipzig wasn't a surprising defeat for RB Leipzig, since Leverkusen is a great team and they only performed below their potential last season. This time in a game in their home stadium against RB Leipzig I thought that it is going to be a fierce fight and Leverkusen would have a slight edge due to the home advantage and that is how it turned out. They can play great attacking football and of course their third goal was massive luck, but they brought themselves into the right position and the counter attack was well played, so the final shot was luck but the attack itself was very well prepared.

Leipzig wasn't a much weaker team, but Leverkusen played a few attacks that RB Leipzig should have defended much better than they did. Which made this a surprise because RB Leipzig appeared so perfect against Bayern Munich in the super cup cup, so the defeat they got against Leverkusen was so surprising. Xabi Alonso is able to read RB Leipzig's weaknesses and he really took advantage of a good counterattack and defense against RB Leipzig and they also excel because they are playing at home so they have more motivation to beat RB Leipzig. I definitely do not think that Choupo-Moting was actually a good replacement for Robert Lewandowski. And when I said that they did not have a genuine striker, I meant that they did not have a striker that could actually take up the responsibility of replacing Robert Lewandowski successfully.

And I am not saying that Choupo-Moting is a bad striker. But when compared to Robert Lewandowski, he is definitely not anywhere near in my opinion.
