Xabi Alonso has attempt to be realistic with the current squad of Leverkusen because for him it's really hard to compete with Bayern Munich and Dortmund for race title but so far Leverkusen has good start that they got 2 consecutive wins from Leipzig and Monchengladbach and i think if Leverkusen under Xabi Alonso can able to managed their performance probably they can be threaten Dortmund or Bayern Munich position later but indeed Leverkusen is not rich team so they cannot able to buy expensive players to strengthen their squad so this is the main factors why until now Leverkusen still cannot recognized as strong team in Bundersliga and Leverkusen highest position in the last 9 season is 3rd place and they did that twice at season 2015/2016 and 2021/2022 so lets see their highest position for them this season later

Leverkusen have faced tough opposition in their opening two matches of the season. In the first match they played against Leipzig, and in the second match Leverkusen played against Gladbach. And in both matches we saw the power of Leverkusen's players. Most importantly, Leverkusen's match strategy has changed. This is why the team is performing well. Leipzig's attack was strong, which is why Leverkusen kept their defense tight in this match and then attacked. Leverkusen didn't attack too much in this match. We saw against Gladbach that they played attacking from the beginning of the match. Gladbach put their players under pressure. As a result they failed to counterattack. Leverkusen performed well in both matches.

To be honest I'm not sure, I think Leverkusen's target is to finish in the top four of the Bundesliga. that is, if Xabi Alonso's squad is able to make it happen. But that doesn't mean Leverkusen doesn't have hopes of becoming a competitor to Bayern Munich. The problem is however, in terms of team depth and player quality, Bayern is one level above Leverkusen.

The season has started and I think Dortmund must realize the shortcomings of their squad soon. The adaptation factor has always been a problem for them because of their habit of being busy selling players that they have molded to perfection. When they manage to develop some of their players then they will immediately sell them at a high price, so it is quite difficult for this squad to be able to perform consistently in several competitions. I can't do anything about it because that's their business priority. But here I will add that Dortmund must solve this problem immediately, Bayern Munich is crawling up to get better with the arrival of Kane, while Dortmund is still busy with many player adjustment problems there.

You're right partially, but in the world of football nothing is impossible and it might come as a surprise that Leverkussen wins the Bundesliga though the odds for that is very high, for instance there was a time in the Epl when Leicestercity just got promoted to the EPL and took everyone by suprise and won the league, so nothing is impossible, it's just that the Leverkussen are not very strong enough to challenge for the title which has been dominated by Bayern Munich over the years, talk more of now that they've even strengthened their squad depth and got a perfect striker that's capable of scoring goals in every match day.
