Personally I still don't think Dortmund's goal is to win the title. It is true that they played well last season. They played well throughout the season, and if they could have won the last match, they could have been champions. But if Dortmund were aiming to win the title, they would have strengthened their squad. But they didn't do that. Their purpose is to do business. They sold Bellingham, one of the best players in their squad, to Real Madrid. If Dortmund's goal was to win the title, they would not have sold the best players in the squad. This is why I think we will only see Bayern Munich dominate this season.

It's definitely a good point that if they were playing for the title they wouldn't have sold quality players. Bellingham was one of Dortmund's most valuable and important stars by selling Bellingham to Real Madrid for a huge price, meaning Dortmund got a lot more money for the money they invested in this player. Erling Haaland who was a Dortmund player but Dortmund sold him to Manchester City for a significant amount of money means they have profited there too but a good club never does business only they do business while winning titles like Real Madrid. Real Madrid will first produce the player then win various titles with that player then sell that player to another club for a high price. Dortmund should think that they can do business as well as win the title.

I have started to think about this seriously. Because with Xabi Alonso they are really something else. First he came to the team and saved them from a dangerous area in the standings. He didn't even make do with that and they made it to the Europa League group stage.    After this huge progress the board extended with him until 2026. Now we are witnessing them making a solid start to the season despite playing not having very comfortable matches on paper. I'm even wondering whether Real Madrid would like to try to bring him next summer after Ancelotti leaves.

How does Leverkusen compare to Bayern Munich? I mean, it's true that they've had a good start. I was really impressed by the two wins over Leipzig and Monchengladbach. But if I'm being honest, Bayern's team strength is just on a different level

You're right partially, but in the world of football nothing is impossible and it might come as a surprise that Leverkussen wins the Bundesliga though the odds for that is very high, for instance there was a time in the Epl when Leicestercity just got promoted to the EPL and took everyone by suprise and won the league, so nothing is impossible, it's just that the Leverkussen are not very strong enough to challenge for the title which has been dominated by Bayern Munich over the years, talk more of now that they've even strengthened their squad depth and got a perfect striker that's capable of scoring goals in every match day.
 To me I feel the Club that would likely challenge Bayern Munich for the title this season is either Borussia Dortmund or Leipzig, well the season just started so I'll wait till it gets to the middle of the season and see the strength of Leipzig before concluding if they'll be league contenders or no.

Bayer Leverkusen has had a great start to the German Bundesliga season which I know will be morale booster for team in their quest for the Bundesliga glory but without taking anything away from the club, they do not possess the kind of quality players and depth in the Bayern Munich squad.

 You're right, he's the senior manager of the team and knows what his team needs best, it's normal for other coaches to disagree with the senior managers decision, but since he's the head coach his decision is final and there's nothing other coaches can do about it, left for me i think they don't really need McTomminay in their team and the deal would only be beneficial to Manchester united who needs to offload most of their unused players to creat space and also get funds to sign new recruits.

I think this is quite a tiring match, not because the opponent is easy, but it is likely that Dortmund will still show an inconsistent performance.  I expected Dortmund to be one of the top contender of the league this season but they're not playing up to expectations yet, last season they were very impressive and almost won the league if not for the draw they had that made them lose the league to Bayern Munich, that was realy a narrow escape for Bayern Munich because if Dortmund had won their last match they would had break Bayerns long hold record.
