I think they should be an easy win for Bayern Munich. There is no reason for them to end up losing. If we look at the last 5 head to head matches between these two teams we will see that Bayern Munich has been the team to win 4 out of the matches and the other one was a draw. So I think Bayern Munich is going to go into this match being very confident. But at the same time, Dortmund should be very determined to win this match because of what happened in the last season. If that does not get the blood boiling for them, I don't know what will.

Head to head is good for determining who has been the better team for a certain period of time, but it is weak in giving you information about the status quo. Leaving this aside, I wonder how many head to head statistics there are that suggest that Bayern should not win a game against any of the opponents in the Bundesliga. When Bayern lost a match in early 2023 against Leverkusen, before that they also lost none of the 7 games before that and won 6 of them. It is really no good precursor to draw on for any predictions.

But the interval of match is also affecting how strong the head to head can also help us in predicting the outcome from the upcoming match. You can imagine when you were using head to head that was already a few years old. It's not reliable enough in helping to determine which club that is going to win the game. I think that the result is still remain unpredictable but some aspects may help us in increasing the chances for the club to win the game.

I don't particularly like how Bayern Munich is handling the goalkeeper position as they have never announced a fair competition between Neuer and Ulreich despite Ulreich playing so well when he was needed. I am not convinced that this is ever the right approach since Ulreich also has shown a level of loyalty that so far no goalkeeper has ever shown before for any team.

I think it would have been fairer if they said that Neuer has to prove himself before he gets this backing from the coach that he will play every game no matter what. But they literally said that whenever he wants, he will play regardless of how Ulreich is performing. Neuer carelessly went skiing during an important time of the season, broke his leg, is out of the game for about a year, comes back and immediately is guaranteed his position in the goal.

I think Bayern, after losing in the cup, is more dangerous now cause they know they have to deliver against Dortmund, otherwise there will be even more trouble.

Second field? This is such a memorized answer and it's really not all that true. Neuer, De Ligt, Kim Min Jae, Davies, Kimmich, Muller, Sane, these are all starters for their game how is this a second fielder unit? I mean I can understand calling Copho Moting second unit compared to Kane, but he is still a great player as well and plays sometimes. That team had at least 7-8 starter level players, and Musiala, Coman, Gnabry all got into the game after they had trouble winning as well. This should be noted down as important because they did made good changes for the roster quality.

So all in all, I would say that Bayern didn't get unlucky because they played with second field, they played with all the good players they had and they played terribly and lost. Is this good for them? I doubt so, they need to win the cup, not lose it, but they have less games to care about now and could do very well at UCL now, if they lose there too, then it will be a shame.

I am pretty impressed by the performance shown by Leverkusen this season. They are winning vs weak but also top teams regardless of their names. Their draw against Bayern Munich was like a victory. The fight for the first rank is intense right now between these two teams. The difference is only two points and Bayer Leverkusen didn't seem to allow Bayern Munich to reclaim that position. I hope to see a close competition until the end of the season between them, since Dortmund doesn't seem to be ok. They are missing points and the last one was vs Frankfurt which isn't a bad team but they could pass them if they didn't receive early two goals..

When Leverkusen were doing well in the early few games I didn't value this team that much and I think they can win only a few games but their performance will drop when their opponent is Bayern Munich or any other team. Now their play seems to be completely wrong what I thought about them and they are not only doing well against smaller teams but also against other teams in this league including Bayern Munich. A performance like this from Leverkusen is undoubtedly a cause for concern for Bayern Munich. If Leverkusen can keep up their performances until the end of the season, it will be a tough task for Bayern Munich to win the league title. Bayern Munich have been performing well this season but they need to perform better this season to get ahead of Leverkusen.
