Winning the UEFA Champions League title comes with sacrifices and I'm pretty confident about the incompetent performance of Bayern Munich this season, their weaknesses are clearly mapped out under Thomas Tuchel who's not having a great time in the club, facing vital roles to play which he absolutely doesn't fit in. The winnings are important and there's definitely no better way than enhancing our golden opportunities in the system. Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen are moving in for different target this season. Its been really a whole rough season for the Bavarians.

Bayern Munich have been one of the strongest teams and also one of the favorite by bookmakers every season in the Champions league. Last season they were ruthless under Neglesmann and didn’t even Lose a group game before Tuchel came and they got knocked out by eventual winners city. We all know how good city was last season but the game against Bayern most especially at the Allianz Arena was where I saw Bayern declining a bit and a worry for them this season. And here we are they are in a big mess already. The group stage was easier to me because of the club’s struggling there. The round of 16 was a scare to team, if they can have nerves high like that in a game against Lazio then I see them struggling further. Right now I have higher hopes for Arsenal than them.

As for the league, it’s almost lost to me, although they have been pulling along in think a lose to Dortmund after the international break will all but confirm it for them. Dortmund on their must win this to keep their top 4 spot in tact.

There are bad news for Bayern Munich about there goalkeeper Manuel Neuer , as he got today injured in the training with the German National Team.
He already leaved the National Team and was going back to Bayern Munich with an torn muscle fiber.
So its possible that he maybe will be missed in the next game against Dortmund in Munich.

Manuel Neuer has had big figure of appearances with Bayern Munich. The team is very much acquainted with him, especially the defence. So, it was difficult for them to cope the first surgery that Neuer went. They had to manage the situation, so I guess they have gotten somehow used to playing without him.

However, the experience and chemistry of Manuel Neuer with the team is top notch and that is why the teams needs him almost in every match. I doubt he will be available for their champions league clash with Arsenal. It will be a bigger loss if he isn't available for that fixture. Also, this is a warning for Bayern to start making a succession plan for Manuel Neuer.

I read that Alonso was invited to Bayern even earlier, but he refused, saying that he was not ready for this yet. I think everything is obvious here, Bayern is his former club, he knows the Bundesliga well, the team has good opportunities to realize any ambitions, and in my opinion Bayern once wrote that they are making progress in negotiations with Alonso. It all depends on Leverkusen management as long as they can keep Xabi to stay with Leverkusen for several seasons. I'm sure Leverkusen will have no worries after losing Xabi when the players are managed well by this great coach.
It is impossible for a coach who is retained by management and given full responsibility for the performance of the players to just remain silent, of course Xabi, after successfully winning the bundesliga title, will make several changes or replace old players with young players slowly.

Sad news for Neuer, I hope he recovers from his injury quickly. Now that he is older, even the slightest injuries can be dangerous. We have time before the Dortmund match, maybe he can recover. If he cannot recover, there is a more important match than the Dortmund match, they will play the quarter-finals with Arsenal at the beginning of April.

A difference of 10 points is very large number and it takes more than 3 wins with 3 defeats for Leverkusen if Bayern Munich wants to win the top of the standings and of course this is impossible.
So if they want to do it then everything will just be in vain and become dream that must be fulfilled bury it deep.
Bayern Munich should not prioritize trying to catch up with Leverkusen because their opponent for the UCL quarter-finals is Arsenal, who are currently in very good condition and can beat Bayern Munich.

Arsenal is also doing good but in Champions League we all know different game and Bayern Munich can bring themselves in winning position and having spot into last four which will be good for them but still their chances for winning any trophy in this season are not good because Manchester City is going to be toughest for them, and they can stop them as well.

Although Arsenal is in good form, but Bayern Munich consistently beats Arsenal in the Champions League. It will be very difficult to predict the result of this next Champions League game. Arsenal did not have good records against Bayern Munich in the Champions League, they can eliminate Bayern if they play like they did in the Premier League games, since Arteta has gathered new players, I'm hoping that Arsenal might defeat Bayern Munich. Christian Streich has announced to leave Freiburg at the end of the season. He has been involved with the club for 29 years, firstly as player then Youth club coach and in the end, head coach of the main team since 29th Dec 2011.

It is extraordinary for someone to be a coach and 29 years spent at a club is not an easy thing. In fact, he started as a club player and finally continued his career as a coach for Freiburg as a whole. His love for Freiburg is ingrained and his loyalty cannot be measured by anything. It seems that he also realized that his coaching abilities were no longer comparable to those of other coaches and perhaps because of that he felt tired and preferred to leave Freiburg.

It was a wise decision, especially since Christian Streich is not new to the club and he is very open to anyone in the future being able to handle this team and bring success to each season. As a mediocre team in the Bundesliga, I think Freiburg is not too bad and in fact last season under the guidance of Christian Streich they competed in the top 4 but unfortunately they only got one place in the European league. But overall it was very good and I think with the new coach we can have the same success.

I think Xabi Alonso will leave Bayer Leverkusen for a better club that is for sure. But I don’t think he is ready for a big premier league club like Liverpool. The expectations are high, the media and the fans are ruthless. If you don’t manage to perform, you will be sacked immediately. Even the biggest of the coaches like Jose Mourinho, Mauricio Pochettino have struggled there. So it is not an easy job. Xabi is still a young coach. His experiences are not that much. But the way he has managed Bayer Leverkusen, we can say that he has the capability.

That is why I think he should join Bayern Munich first because it is a relatively easier club to manage than Bayern Munich, then if he becomes successful after gathering experience, he can move for premier league clubs or other big clubs like Real Madrid.

Remove Mauricio Pochetino from the list of good coaches, he is not amongst the tested, approved and trusted managers in the Premier League Competition. He has to show working before he came be leveled up to that position.
He would be a great manager for Liverpool, but the will need to have a continuous process from whatever Jurgen Klopp has done for Liverpool within the last nine years.

Rejecting Bayern Munich wouldn't be wise decision, at least they'd back him and he'd also improve the squad for another five years or six.
Talks of Bayern Leverkusen saying they'd block his movement to that club don't fazed me in the slightest way. Most importantly, I cannot wait for Bayern Leverkusen to be crowned winners of this years Bundesliga League Competition. They have fought a good fight and has also come a long way.

I couldn't find all the information about his retreat, but does anyone know whether he expressed the desire to continue coaching? Like, is this a retreat from football or is it temporary and he said that the job in Freiburg is done but he is open to new adventures in the future?

Very down-to-earth, I can only agree and I want to say that I always like to see clubs that stick to their coaches during good and bad times. It's too much business and too harsh sometimes. Reminds me of Nagelsmann and how he got fired by Bayern Munich, now Tuchel is the next who has to leave, but for what reason I sometimes ask myself? Tuchel wasn't doing very well, Nagelsmann wasn't doing bad.

Klopp and Liverpool or Manchester City and Pep Guardiola are great stories. But Streich in Freiburg is even more impressive as he never had a big fat wallet to be used for player transfers. He was forced to build the best team possible out of whatever was left after a good season when the best players were bought by other clubs. That achievement as a coach deserves deep respect.

That's not quite true. Bayern's average points per game this season is 2.31, meaning that, if their performance remain consistent, they should expect to have 78-79 points at the end of the season.
In comparison, last year they've won with 71 points, the year before with 77 points.
In conclusion - Bayern is not underperforming (at least so far), it's just the Leverkusen is that good.
