Munich inaugural match ended with a victory over Wolfsburg with a score of 2-3, although Munich was able to dominate the match, but Wolfsburg was able to trouble the Munich defense in that match, even Munich which fielded its main squad in that match  had difficulty in creating opportunities to score goal after the first goal was scored in the 20th minute, to be honest, I actually thought that Munich would suffer their first defeat of the season in that match, because Wolfsburg was able to reverse the score to 2-1 in the 55th minute, but luckily for Munich they were able to make the score 2-2 again after a Kane  header was not able to anticipate well by Kaminski (suicide) in that match which resulted in the ball going into Wolfsburg's goal and making Bayern Munich come back with a score of 2-2, after continuing to try to pressure Wolfsburg finally Bayern Munich was able to score their winning goal through gnabry and made the final score 2-3.
Although Munich won today match, but I see it is very difficult for them to scoring this match so Kompany should evaluate their game today to be better in their next match.

Wolfsburg did caused a slight threat to Munich's defense and further pressure would have granted them access and they did lacked the sustainance of the pressure to get them more goals but it was a fair play, this happens to be kompanys first bundesliga game and I'm hoping he gets to understand his strength from this game because it did showed a whole lot about how prepared he is for the season, there are beens of hopes tho around the kompany's squad but more work needs to be done on the defense to intensify their resistance and firmness because teams like Leverkusen and Stuttgart are very creative and penetrating and such weak resistance from Munich will not give them an edge over those teams.

Bayern Munich struggled just too much.    I mean they were very impressive in the first half. But the second half they started to give more opportunities to their opponent to score. Wolfsburg didn't turn it down as you can see.

Thankfully Bayern Munich were still able to answer with 2 goals despite having 1.00 xG. I had a bet placed on their win so when Wolfsburg got ahead it made me really nervous.    Starting with a win is nice of course. But Kompany had better work harder on defense. Otherwise against tougher opponents they are likely to have bigger problems... Let's see, these are his first times at the team so hopefully the team gets better in time.

At least my predictions for Leverkusen , Dortmund and Bayern Munich was right on the first Matchday.
I have not seen the game from Dortmund and Bayern Munich but looks like that Gnabry is back in a good way.
Between Heidenheim and Holstein Kiel there are still no goals and fingers crossed that Heidenheim will win that.

Although all three teams managed to get three points, but their victory was also not easy and only with a very thin score and even, Bayer Leverkusen also almost failed to win. Because anyway, Bayer Leverkusen's winner also happened in injury time with a lot of drama too because Wirtz missed a penalty kick. Although indeed, at half time Bayer Leverkusen also managed to win 0-2 but unfortunately, in the second half Monchengladbach managed to make an equalizer, so Bayer Leverkusen made even greater efforts to ensure victory.

Also about Dortmund, that the victory obtained was also almost thin only with 1-0 but fortunately, Jamie Bynoe-Gittens managed to make his second goal in the injury time minute so that Dortmund managed to win with a score of 2-0 and Jamie Bynoe-Gittens became the man of the match even though he only entered as a substitute. Bayern München have won the league 11 times in a row, let the others win some too. After Leverkusen's success last year, all teams are hungry for the title this year. I expect Dortmund to make an attack too.
Wolfsburg didn't take any points from the game even though they were ahead, which is a bit frustrating. But the loss against Bayern is not so important for them in the overall league. They have different target matches. Wolfsburg have no title ambitions. Bayern, on the other hand, started the league with 3 points and even though they played badly, they didn't suffer a loss. I don't see them as hopeless as you do, they won't change the coach after the 10th week.

I would say Bayern Munich are very lucky to get full points from this match. Bayern Munich dominated the match but I am not happy with the performance of the boys from Munich. I don't like the match strategy of this team. Munich's defense in particular is quite weak.

I saw Wolfsburg's second goal. Majer scored easily from Patrick's pass. This is possible because of Bayern Munich's bad defense. Kompany will have more work to do with Bayern Munich's defence. If not, I don't expect to see a better performance than Munich in the Champions League.

The match would have been a 2-2 draw had Kaminski not mistakenly sent the ball into his own net in the 65th minute. I would say Bayern Munich were very lucky in this match. But if Munich want to dominate the Bundesliga, they need to play better. Because Leverkusen, Stuttgart and Dortmund are in a good position this season.

The three big German clubs you mentioned all secured three points from their first league game of the season but it was Borussia Dortmund that got a more convincing win among the three. Bayer Leverkusen needed a stoppage time goal to win their game while Serge Gnabry scored in the 82nd minute of their game to get all three points. Talking about about Serge Gnabry and how improved he is at the moment, I will say the Germany international have improved from what we saw from him last season but don't think we should conclude about his improvement after just onr game

Bayern won but conceded two goals, as did Leverkusen, while Dortmund won smoothly without conceding. Looking at the course of the match, all three teams mentioned dominated the match. Well, whether it's Bayern or Leverkusen, they have to improve their defense so that it is not easy for their opponents to break through later. Talking about the Munich vs Wolfsburg match, if I refer to Bayern Munich's statistical data, their defenders were very underperforming. Fortunately, the other players performed quite well. One more thing, Kane usually always scores a goal in his first match. But in fact, he did not perform badly, one assist was created by Kane. In this first match, it was a lesson for Kompany to evaluate the team's overall performance. It was what everyone expected, none of those team is expected to lose on the first Match Day. Leverkusen showed what they were made of, Dortmund did as well and today Bayern Munich didn’t disappoint as well although they were tested by their opponent wolfsburg as they equalized and took the lead just a few minutes after the half time break but Bayern were able to take back the lead and secured all 3 points.

It’s not the perfect game but they will definitely improve their game with time i fully trust the manager and i have no doubt that he will compete for the title this season. For now it doesn’t matter what the score line will be all that matters is to win and secure all 3 points.

To be fair while it was all what everyone expected, you can see by the end of the season that there are barely 10 times when all three win at the same time, not that they do not end up winning, they all do, but they take turns having a draw or a loss, and usually that doesn't happen on the same week neither, meaning that only a maximum of dozen weeks we have when all three win at the same time.

Could be different this season though, not every season is like that, sometimes teams are great and they just all win and get a ton of points, look at Bayern and see what points they got when they won the league for that many years, some of them are much higher and some are much lower, and if it's one of the low ones this year then we may see very little all three win at the same time, if it's high then we may see plenty. This isn't a bet that is guaranteed, if it was that much guaranteed then the return would be more than double or even triple of what you pay for.

Stuttgart sold a few players in the off-season and it was already clear that they couldn't be as strong as last season. I don't know what lesson they should learn from this defeat, they opened the scoring in the 2nd minute, but then they only had two shots on target in the whole match, so maybe they were just lucky to score that early goal. Today Bayern play their first match in the Bundesliga, there is a little less than half an hour left, it will be interesting to see what they can do with Kompany. Sane and Stanisic will miss this match due to injuries, Müller starts on the bench.

Stuttgart which is having interesting history in Bundesliga at the end of 2023 they were having fight for survival and ended on same zone but at the end of 2024 they were ended on second spot behind Bayer Leverkusen and up Bayern Munich was impressive transformation for any team, but things are getting another change as they are already sold their few big players and having not good start of the season.

With things are still manageable for them because it's just start of the campaign, and they can go through with better strategy and solid performance we have good start for few clubs like Bayern Munich RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund which is good sign, but surely things needs to be had more improved for the Stuttgart if they want to keep things on track and having their best back again in this season.

It will not be very fair to associate Bayern Munich with such, been a disappointment means a whole lot of set back and poor performance, even last season they weren't that bad, the only difference was they had a different result from the regular which is supposed to be a normal, I mean if they become the only bundesliga trophy winner every season, wouldn't you get bored with the bundesliga? They finished at the second position with a very good point as against those who followed after them, so it was a very good one from them to see them as a disappointment, even if they finished same position this season, I will still see it as a good one because they are trying to rebuild with a new coach which we all know how tasking that could be.

This should be a sign for Bayern that this season they cannot relax like previous seasons because indeed the clubs in the Bundesliga are now increasing in quality which makes it difficult for us to predict what happens in 90 minutes of the match.

Leverkusen really surprised me during that game, I had a straight win bet on them checking on live how they were playing draw close to the final whistle made me loose every possiblity  of Leverkusen taking the winning goal. This late winner is something Leverkusen is currently known for, it helped them a lot last season achieving some titles but this may not be as favourable as before. If Leverkusen are winning by the last minute and yet conceiving good number of goals doesn't set them on that standard of defending the title, Bayern Munich seems like they are having it in full control this time.

Just to clear some confusion:
Leverkusen did beat the (European) record of a number of games without loss across all competitions, with a run of 51, which ended on the EL final loss to Atalanta.
But it's Bayern that still holds a record of games without loss for Bundesliga games only, which is a run of 53. Leverkusen are still going with their previous season's undefeated Bundesliga games though, which I believe is now 35, so there is still a pretty long way to go to beat Bayern's record.

This is not Chelsea or any English team that are fond of changing their coaches anytime they feel like they don’t perform. Bayern Munich is a team that has the potential for the league title this season and what matters in every match is the wins they’re able to get from the match not how they struggle to get that win. If they’ve won today, there’s nothing wrong with the time they won the match since they’ve gotten their three points from the game already.

If they lose matches in succession for a very long time, that’s when we can say that they need to adjust in order not to repeat the same thing that happened last season. Kompany is really trying his best and I hope he can continue till the end of the season to give Bayern Munich a league victory and also gain more trust to his name.

I feel more for Bayern Leverkusen because of their opponent but looking from another point, they look more qualitative than Leipzig. The game may give them a tough time but all they need is to focus on winning the game and they’ll win the match at the end of the day. That's right, Kompany must work harder to adapt quickly, so he can secure 3 points in a better way. The first challenge was successfully overcome by Kompany and his troops, although Wolfsburg almost forced Bayern Munich to share points. Throughout the match, Kompany squad looked very dominant in possession of the ball, this indicates that they are quite calm, but have not found their best form. I am quite sure, in the future they will perform better, considering that Kompany has a number of quality players in his squad.

In reality, Bayern Munich still presents themselves as the rulers of the Bundesliga, they will remain one of the most serious title contenders, and Leverkusen is the main obstacle they must defeat. We realize that the competition for the trophy this season will be even fiercer, especially if Xabi Alonso squad continues its unbeaten trend. I hope Dortmund, Stuttgart and Leipzig can enliven the race, so that the competition at the top of the Bundesliga standings will be even more interesting.
