Yes but unfortunately after successfully defeating Frankfurt they actually experienced a draw when competing with Wender which I thought was not a difficult opponent for Dortmund, or I mean I thought that previously Dortmund would be able to defeat Wender which is a lower class team but it turned out the match ended with a share of points.
So I can't conclude that they performed well at the beginning of the season with one win and one draw against a weaker team.

Nuri Sahin as the new coach of Borussia Dortmund has been doing a pretty good job even when the performance can’t be said to be satisfactory just yet. Nuri Sahin as the new coach of Borussia Dortmund has been doing a pretty good job even when the performance can’t be said to be satisfactory just yet. So far Kompany has been successful in handling Bayern Munich and he has been able to deliver wins in every game, but this is not really a big test because we haven't seen them face a strong team. I want to see Bayern Munich face a much more balanced team so that we can get an idea of his quality as a coach. Handling a big team like Bayern Munich is not easy because he is required to achieve good results and if he fails, the consequence is that he will be fired early.

Well, this is what is worrying because Kompany has no experience leading a team in a big competition like the Champions League. Starting the season well will increase the motivation of the players to maintain their performance and forget about last season's failure. Now Bayern Munich has started a new chapter with Kompany and the results achieved in the last match were quite satisfactory. To predict the result of Munich match in the UCL is not too difficult because the guarantee of victory looks more certain. On the one hand, Zagreb is not an equal opponent for Munich and will not put any pressure on Kompany.
But the problem is that Bayern Munich before appearing in the UCL must face Holstein Kiel who once defeated Munich in the DFB competition. Their inconsistency is on a different level and I can't trust them. I gave them the benefit of the doubt the season before last season when all they needed to win the league was to win Mainz on the final day of the season and they couldn't. They couldn't even get a draw. Mind you this was a team that had about 5 points more than Bayern Munich.
