Nobody has expected that Dortmund will be getting into the finale for the Champions League last year too , me included.

I don't say it like impossible of course. But Dortmund were much better than this last season. Maybe still not a title contender but at least they qualified for the Champions League. This season their general performance is so bad that I can't believe in them at all...

Maybe you will say they are better in the Champions League. But we will see. The team they beat 3-0 was Sporting which have been much worse since they lost Amorim. I didn't like Dortmund against Real Madrid and Barcelona even a bit in the league phase.  

For there best and also getting another Spot for the next Champions League Season , they should be focus on that place 4 in the German League.
Fixing that image that they have at the moment is only possible if they win in the League.
Lets hope that Niko Kovac can cook something with the team soon.

I hope so as well. Niko Kovac is more trustworthy than Nuri Şahin when we compare the manager careers. But this doesn't guarantee anything of course. Let's see him in more action first.

Frankly speaking, the draw against Wolfsburg last week I didn't expect it. I was hoping that Bayern Leverkusen would win even if it was with a lone goal. They actually needed to win that game to keep the gap within  that specific number but after the draw it increased to 8 points. Now both first and second on the table will be facing each other this weekend, if Bayern Munich wins the gat increases to 11 points which in my opinion thinks that will be the end for the defending champions having hopes of retaining the trophy, if Bayern Leverkusen wins, a slender hope arises as the point difference will be reduced to 5 points.

In that game, wolfsburg actually didn't have an outstanding performance but they were able to still hold Leverkusen to a draw and i see that as a relatively good performance from them and as for leverkusen I wouldn't even bother to say I was surprised or didn't expect them to have such performance because literally they have gone a long stretch through the season and I'm beginning to see that from last season its like a strategy for them to use for some sort of recovery after a long stretch through the season and they use this to maintain a healthy position till they get back strong again and start winning.

The match for last week was quite bad for Leverkusen because their hopes for 3 points had to stop when their poor attacking line could not do much where the finsihing did not go well.

This week is quite interesting for Bayern because if in the end their goal is still to stick to Bayern, then indirectly in this week's match they should ideally be able to get 3 points from Bayern if they still want to talk more or at least be able to maintain with a draw.

But if the results of the match are not favorable for them where the defeat is obtained by Leverkusen in this match then I will automatically believe that Bayern will get their trophy back which was taken by Leverkusen last season even though there are still many matches left but in the end it will not make my belief change because the points gap is too big to pursue.

The worst was when Leverkusen lost to Leipzig in the second week, sharing points with Wolfsburg was still pretty good. However, Xabi Alonso and his team should have been able to beat Wolfsburg, and it was a bit surprising to see Leverkusen unable to score a single goal in the match, in that case Leverkusen performance can be said to be quite bad. That was highly unexpected and while I think that Augsburg is often underestimated, RB Leipzig repeatedly says how ambitious they are and that they want to establish themselves as one of the absolute best teams in the Bundesliga. They are of course among the best teams, but dropping points in 4 out of the last 5 games is unacceptable if they want to improve their status as a serious Bayern contender. So far they lack a lot of things until they could even get close.

You can't always rely on Leipzig when it matters because they'd always find a way to disappoint. I thought that with how much pressure they mounted on Augsburg, one would see lots of goals in the match but it ended in a goalless draw. Teams like this are the types you collect three points from without breaking much sweat. If you struggle against these kinds of teams, how would you then cope when you meet bigger clubs?

The level of inconsistency in Leipzig is just annoying. No wonder why they couldn't survive in the champions league is because of performances like this and if they had succeeded in collecting the three points, they would have been level on points with Frankfurt, if not pass them to sit at 3rd place.
Now with this draw, it has given Augsburg the opportunity to be in touching distance of Dortmund who are 11th with 29 points (pending if they win their game today).

Looking at this fixtures,  I find leipzig and Berlin as the two tough games they will be having,  the others are such that they may actually manage to win at the end of the games so they could gather some points with the other fixtures and elevate their point to probably the top four onto ge table and not to be to win the title which I believe they may not even be willing to do. Leverkusen and Bayern are definitely going to be very challenging to them but if they can manage to get a point from one of the games and then from others they can still make it.

As happened this time, even Augsburg managed to hold Leipzig to a draw with a score of 0 - 0. Leipzig really was not able to score a goal against Augsburg. Even though they have a lot of attacks. They have 14 shots and 4 shots on target. Wow, I didn't think how good Augsburg's defense was and also how many saves and clean sheets were made in the hat match.

Bochum has never beaten Dortmund before so Dortmund has good chance of winning. If Dortmund wins this game they can move up is table and make their fans happy again. But if they do not win they might not be able to finish in top 4 this season. So this game is very important for Dortmund and they need to play well to keep their hopes alive. Team is under pressure but they need to stay strong and focused to win.
