Let the Bundesliga trophy be won by Bayern Munich so that Harry Kane can get his first trophy in his career. The competition between Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich this season is not as tight as last season. This season Bayern has been more dominant in almost every match since the 2024-2025 season. Apart from Harry Kane, let this be proof for Vincent Kompany as a coach who many doubted to be able to help Bayern Munich win the trophy.

I would've loved Xabi Alonso to prove his doubters wrong by defending the German Bundesliga title this season but if there's anything that would excite me if Bayern Munich goes on to win the league this season, I think it's the fact that I want Harry Kane to have a taste of winning a trophy. The England national team captain have been one of the best strikers of world football in the last decade but have failed to win any trophy to his name. I would love to see him break the jinx and become a German champion at the end of the season.

Munich really show Bayer Leverkusen that they are the best club in the competition, Munich really do well to make the game to draw because if they lost the game against xabi Alonso, they will be in a risk in the league table because Leverkusen will definitely near them in the table, and that will bring something that will make Munich should not win the title this season again, but since they have drawn the game against leverkusen, this as show that Bayern Munich will be the favorite of winning Since they can compete with others in the league.

Dortmund are not doing well in the league this season, and I believe they prefer the UCL to the league competition. Since they can't compete with the other teams in the league, they focus more on the UCL and abandon the league, since I'm only seeing them defeating them in the league and losing points in the league table; if they don't pick up, it will be very difficult for them to finish in the top four this season.

I personally do not think that Leverkusen has any chance of winning the title. Munich is far behind by 8 points. If Leverkusen could have won against Munich in the last match then Leverkusen would have been able to reduce this point gap. But Bayern Munich's overall performance is more stable than Leverkusen. That is why I do not think that Leverkusen will be able to win the Bundesliga title this season.

Finally after 3 consecutive matches Eintracht Frankfurt was only able to draw. Tonight, Frankfurt managed to win a landslide victory over Holstein Kiel at Deutsche Bank Park with a score of 3-1.

Facing a weaker team and playing at home, of course this is a victory that we could have predicted before the match took place. However, even so, getting 3 points in this match is very important to strengthen their position in 3rd place in the standings and catch up on Bayern Leverkusen.

To be honest, scenarios in which Bayern start drawing several games in a row, much less losing seem very unlikely. They are performing without mistakes for the most part, they are in clear control in every game, they have a great level of preparation this season. It's been long I concluded that Bayern Munic was not going to sacrifice the title this season, the way they did last season. This was confirmed the moment I realised that Bayern Leverkusen of last season is not the as this season. It was actually Bayern Leverkusen I saw as a big threat because Borussia Dortmund,  RB Leipzig and Stuttgart are not that strong to challenge the two big teams. So now that Bayern Munic been able to tame their closest rival, the coast is clear for them to win the league title.

Bayern Munich only have total 2 shots in that match, it's really crazy. I never thought Leverkusen can dominated the match like this, because Bayern Munich was playing with their best eleven squad.

Yep. Leverkusen very dominated the match, it is like Leverkusen game only. I even assume this game like Leverkusen vs small team in Bundesliga. TBH, I never expected that Bayern Munich players showed too underperformance. Having 2 shots only during the match, it is like a full defensive strategy. I don't understand that Kompany was unable to keep up with Xabi Alonso's tactics. Even though if we look at the squad quality, Bayern Munich is a bit better than Leverkusen. Well, this indicates that Xabi Alonso is a more tactical coach with a better experience.

But, the points difference between them is 8 points, the gap is quite far.

NO doubt that the gap is large, it won't be easy to overtake 8 points. However, the opportunity isn't totally over, it is still possible for Leverkusen to chase Bayern Munich although it is rather small chance. This will depend on the performance of Bayern Munich, they surely will win the trophy if they could perform consistently until the end of the season.

He joined Bayern not at the start of last season. Nothing he could do to take the victory from Leverkusen that hass been leading with about 10 points. However, there is a big opporuntiy this season for him to get a trophy. But dont forget no man is an island. If Harry Kane plays well to get a trophy while the rest of the team is slacking he wont win any trophy. It has to be a collective effort. From him and the rest of the team. Also their manager also need to make better decision for them to also win. We are being hopeful for him but thats not really my concern right now.

That's right, Bayern Munich will be favored in all their upcoming matches. It's highly unlikely to expect them to stumble, giving Leverkusen a chance to close the gap in points. Kompany squad is getting closer to winning a trophy, having gone through the toughest matches of the second half of the season undefeated. If Bayern Munich avoid an injury crisis, there's nothing stopping them from finishing in first place.
As usual, Bayern Munich will still be considered as one of the favorites in the Champions League, although this season their chances are lower than in previous seasons. I think that is because Kompany is still inexperienced, but in terms of squad depth, Bayern Munich has everything it takes to be champions.

I just watched the highlights of Leverkusen - Bayern Munich. There's no doubt Xabi Alonso's team deserved 3 points, but were just out of luck. They dominated the game in shots on goal and in terms of scoring chances created, they also had a small advantage in possession, but the results are not always fair and it's one of those cases.
Unless the highlights I watched are not a good reflection of the game, Bayern almost didn't exist. I guess you could give them some credit for effective defence and not losing a single goal, but they didn't pose any threat in the offence.
I wonder if that was a deliberate tactic by Kompany to just focus on the defence, given they already have 8 points advantage. Maybe his strategy was to keep the status quo rather than take a risk and expose themselves to the possibility of a loss. I don't know. But, as I said before, 8 points might be impossible for Leverkusen to catch up.

I think this result was obvious to everyone. Eintracht is the second team in scoring (along with Bayer) in the Bundesliga, and Holstein is the team with the most goals conceded and is in last place. In fact, the result was already achieved in the first half and then the score grew to a large one, but Holstein was able to score a consolation goal. Thus, taking into account Leipzig's draw, Eintracht is secured in third place.

Exactly. I also agree with you, that Harry Kane's performance is unquestionable. Even when they failed to become Bundesliga champions, it was not Harry Kane's fault, but at that time Xabi's power in Leverkusen was very optimal. And at that time Harry Kane was also the top scorer.

And now, Harry Kane is still the top scorer in the Bundesliga, with a total of 21 goals, very far compared to other scorers.

I didn't watch the Frankfurt home victory against Holstein Kiel but was able to learn about the result of the game through a sports website where the headline read "No Omar Marmoush, no problem for Eintracht Frankfurt. The headline made me click the link to see that that Frankfurt had an impressive performance against their visitors to claim an important victory on a weekend their former hitman Omar Marmoush scored a hattrick for his new English club. I actually thought the departure of Marmoush from Frankfurt was going to have a significant effect on the performances and results of the German club but it seems they've moved on already and gotten suitable replacement for him.

By the way I feel sad to see Dortmund who can't get out of the slump even their losing record is higher than their winning total and in the last 5 matches Dortmund only won once but yeah Dortmund still exists in the Champions League competition this is the only thing to hope for this season and they are sure to go to the next stage after winning the first leg.
