Leipzig have many quality players, they're second richest team in Bundesliga, but they got overtaken by other teams that the market value 4x times lower than them, very make sense they sacked the previous manager.
I think he can't make it with Leipzig, sooner or later he will be sacked due to less experience. I wonder why Leipzig didn't want to hire a top manager instead, they only cares with the players.
Ole Werner is an good Coach and yes he have made an good job in Werder Bremen.
To be honest RB Leipzig is just very lucky that they have Red Bull as there sponsor , that makes things a bit easier for them to get new players and stuff.
Why do you think he cant make it in Leipzig ? He has in Leipzig now better and other good players he can work with.
At least i guess he will be doing it better as the last coaches we have seen but lets see whats coming there.

If we compare them both, both are quite good with their efforts and experience, but if we look at them in the team, Leverkusen is playing quite well and better. Erik ten hag improves his team with his efforts, but he is not preparing his team's players in any way, due to which Manchester United is not being so successful yet. Now his coach and his team should improve themselves by playing well. His development will be good, but there will also be a difference in the team's players, this will make Leverkusen better, but Manchester United was not doing well, due to which we will blame Manchester United's players, not this coach.
They do believe that things will not become a lot more confusing with the Erik Ten Hag move and they will continue to be decent at least. I mean even Leverkusen fans are aware that they are not going to win the league and that is a fluke, but they want to stay second place if possible.

Losing Frimpong and Wirtz means that they are going to get worse and that doesn't mean they are going to lose a lot, they will definitely look to do a better job and stay second even after losing those two players. That is going to be tough one, but that is not going to keep them from going down. It would make sense for them to focus on how to do a better job if they just focus on the top four, if they can do that for a few years more, the money they make could help them get better.
I will understand the players they have prepare how they perform because Erik ten Hag job is to improve the effort and experience then we have to decide whether the team play well on the field. If Leverkusen defense and their strength are such that they beat every team by a certain goal in every match then we can give them a clear lead in the league. This will show their strength their power and their effort to win the title. What kind of idea is it if they get a better player after lose them. If they adopt a player who has more strength and effort and tries to score more goal in every match it would be better for them to lose them. But I would say that they should replace them with some good player who can bring them to the first position. This will give them a lot of advantage which will increase their strength and their hope a lot.

Last season, Kompany still lacked experience in the Champions League, so it's understandable that they failed to meet expectations. However, in the upcoming season, Bayern Munich seems likely to be one of the most formidable teams in the competition. In my opinion, Bayern Munich will probably not face much difficulty in retaining the Bundesliga title, as neither Leverkusen nor Dortmund have better squad depth.

Dortmund will have to fight hard to become a trophy contender again, as will Leverkusen, who are currently facing a transitional period following the departure of Xabi Alonso. Overall, I assume no team can break Bayern Munich dominance next season, Dortmund and Leverkusen will need a lot of luck to do so.

We'll see what Kompany will show in his second season. Competition in the Champions League this season feels even tighter, as I see clubs from other leagues also continuing to make remarkable improvements and updates to strengthen their squads. Borussia Dortmund, with the arrival of Jobe Bellingham, who they recently signed from Sunderland, and judging by his performances in the few matches he has played for the team, he has shown quite good performance, not inferior to his older brother, who currently plays for Real Madrid.

Regarding Leverkusen, I have little doubt that the team will provide a strong competition this season, both in the domestic league and the Champions League. This will be a difficult season for Leverkusen, as they are embarking on a new experiment after numerous changes in their squad and also in their coaching position. But because of the desire to see the Bundesliga become more competitive, I hope they can still compete for the title this season, and I hope that the surprises this season won't just come from the big clubs.

Ten Hag may have had a bad time at Manchester United but that doesn't make it a certainty that similar faith could catch up with him at Leverkusen. He can turn the tide and change a lot of things with the club if only he can start now to take bold steps in making the right decisions with his team.
The current squad in the team he took over as the manager is the reason why everyone is pointing that he's going to fail in Bayer Leverkusen, the team has sold some good players and they are yet to replace them how do you think Ten Hag is going to succeed in the league when he couldn't make it in Manchester United where he had different players that he could work with how? I hope he turns things around and make himself a good name cause if he fails this time then he will find it difficult to get a big contract with any big team.

Alright, but why would Ten Hag agree to take a job to a club he wouldn't be getting the funds to sign some of the fine players into his team but rather the club management be selling off the good players he could use for the season to build a strong competitive team. If Ten Hag has to lead another bad season with Leverkusen after leaving United with a bad record it will be a dent to his profile in getting a bigger job after Leverkusen's, it is something he should know.

Ten Hag will.do everything in is power to do better than the formal coach they want the club to do better because everything is already looking at stake because if the club those not do well then it's going be him at the receiving end. So at all cost improving the club will be the only thing that he will have to thinks of, and Leverkusen is not that stressful because the amount of things is going to put in, and since the day the job is accepted he would have know what he needs to improve both the attack and the defence of the club.

And Leverkusen should not be a difficult club for Ten Hag to manage since Manchester United is bigger so from Leverkusen performance we are going to know if is doing well or not, and at this point I think should know the right step to take. When it comes to football even with the right players sometimes you will not be able to predict what will happen in a game so there is more for him to learn. And everyone is obviously waiting for the season to start. To see what Ten is actually capable of doing this season for Leverkusen.

This season I think Bayern leverkusens board aren’t expecting much from Erik ten Haag yet, as this is his first season taking charge of the club, the major task he will have is to be able to assemble and build his team so they could adapt to his style of play knowing fully well that some couple of leverkusens first team players that won the league two seasons ago have already departed to other clubs, and the club have also been able to bring in some couple of new faces to the team who are still young players and will definitely need some time to adapt at least for the first full season. There are other good clubs in the bundelsliga such as Borussia Dortmund who will also try to compete for the league this season and they also made some good signings too. So, I think Erik ten Haag knows what’s at stake at this point of his career, managing leverkusen shouldn’t be too difficult for him as he has been able to do well in similar team to leverkusen such as Ajax where he won the Eredivisie title during his time and also did very well in the Champions League during his time with Ajax. I believe Leverkusen wouldn’t be challenging for the league this season rather a top four finish will be a good start for Erik ten Haag, and maybe next season they should be fighting for the title.

I suspect you wanted to writer "former" coach instead of "formal" coach, but anyway, expecting ten Hag to do better than the former coach, namely Xabi Alonso, is utter nonsense. Alonso won the Bundesliga title without losing a single game that season, the DFB Pokal, reached the Europa League final and then became vice champion last year. What do you think the Leverkusen bosses want ten Hag to do?

The competition with Bayer Leverkusen is no less because the bosses do expect Leverkusen to have a say in the title race. I don't think Manchester United really believes in a chance to win the Premier League anytime soon.

Truth be told xavi Alonso was just fortunate to have won the league season before last, as it stands now no team in the germain bundesliga can stop them despite Vincent kompany not being an experienced coach, it's literally their birth right to have been winning the league, team like Bayern Leverkusen I still see them to be struggling comes next season as xavi Alonso has left the team and some other good players too, for Dortmund those guys are really unpredictable you never can tell when they will have a great season or not, they are just lucky the league is not really that competitive else they would have seen themselves in Manchester United position at the EPL.

I suspect you wanted to writer "former" coach instead of "formal" coach, but anyway, expecting ten Hag to do better than the former coach, namely Xabi Alonso, is utter nonsense.
snip

Xabi Alonso has set such high standards that I think it will be quite difficult for Erik ten Hag to keep up or even surpass him. and coupled with the pressure from management and fans who expect instant results, along with the lack of stability in Erik ten Hag's current squad, will make it increasingly difficult for him to compete in the Bundesliga. Erik ten Hag is now in a very complicated situation, and I don't think he can deliver the maximum result this season, given the team's condition and the very limited adaptation time. chances are he will struggle too, just like what he experienced when he coached Man united.

Yes it's true that no team can stop bayern munich due to their squad depth that they have over others I will not agree with you that Leverkusen winning the league was just lucky or coincidence because that season Leverkusen went unbeaten in the league and only lost one game even in Europe and that was the Euefa league final against Atlanta.

We should give respect to those who has earned it Alonso is a good coach even last season it was due to injury that which affected most of Leverkusen top players if not bayern munich would have gotten a hot when it comes to the title race but all Leverkusen top players where having injuries and not completely fit at the start of the season

I don't think it's possible for Ten Hag to do better than Alonso at Bayern Leverkusen, based on Ten Hag's recent poor record at Manchester United. There are certain things Alonso has done for Leverkusen that will be very hard for Ten Hag to break. One record Ten Hag can't come close to is winning the Bundesliga unbeaten. I don't think Ten Hag could do that in the Bundesliga. I won’t say anything bad about Ten Hag because he has had a good record at Ajax, but I did not totally see him as a poor manager. Even if Ten Hag were to do better at Leverkusen, he would have to reset the team, because currently, I am not satisfied that Ten Hag could do better with Leverkusen's current squad. But let's wait and see what happens when the season get started.

Ten Hag is certainly taking a gamble with his career by accepting Leverkusen's offer, having just failed as manager of Manchester United and subsequently moved to Leverkusen, while they are also selling key players. This will certainly be a challenge for Ten Hag, but he seems quite prepared for the risks he will face at Leverkusen. Of course, in his first season at Leverkusen, we can't expect much from a close competition with Muenchen, as he needs to adapt and build a strong team foundation.

Perhaps Leverkusen's target of finishing in third or second place would be a good achievement for both Ten Hag and Leverkusen. Competing with Muenchen with an already solid squad would be difficult. Ten Hag has certainly considered the offer carefully, as managing Leverkusen is much more comfortable than managing the pressure-filled Manchester United. If the pressure is not too high, it will make the coach more relaxed and the dressing room more peaceful so that the strategy he implements will run according to plan.

I can convincingly tell you that Ten Hag has practically little or nothing to offer Leverkusen beyond what Xabi Alonso did in the club. How would he deliver their league unbeaten, someone that gambles every game with little or no tactics. During his days at Manchester United all his wins were mostly player driven and nothing tactical. Also, most of the driving force of the unbeaten record departed the club due to Xabi Alonso exit, play makers like Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpog, and Granit Xhaka all left the club.  Now with no tactics of his own and still repeating his mistakes at the Manchester United, he has started requesting to sign his former players including Hojlund who he signed at Manchester United. His pattern, his attitude and his strategy never improves. With all indices, Leverkusen may not even make the top four this season.

He has a lot of challenges to keep up with,  which is why itight be so difficult for him to cope because he is definitely not good under such pressure, and with Bayern Munich being a favourite team for the season with addition to their team including Diaz. I wish him well in his new club.

After an embarassing loss to Flamengo U-20, Leverkusen bounced back with a win over Bochum (2-0) and another one (2-1) over Dutch Fortuna Sittard last Friday. Those wins might not have been very convincing, especially given bth teams are much lower rated than Bayer, but a win is a win.
Leverkusen have 2 more friendlies to play before the season starts. The first one is against Pisa, who got promoted to Seria A this season. The other one is against Chelsea, who recently lifted th FIFA Club World Cup after defeating PSG in the final. The latter game will be a real test and a good indication of what can we expect from Leverkusen in the upcoming season.

Meanwhile, Bayern have won their first friendly against Olympique Lyon 2-1.

Xavi Alonso has tried his best to make Leverkusen become one of the best teams in the Bundesliga, the club should have at least made move to still keep Xabi Alonso to solidify the team more before he leaves because he only spent three seasons but if he had stayed for more two seasons the team could have still pull through with any coach but the situation of the team now is a very critical one because not only did Xabi Alonso left but most of the important players left the team which will really be a great challenge and am already feeling how Eric Ten Hag can be able to manage the team. Why did you think that Vicent Kompany isn't an experienced coach, someone that one the Bundesliga title is his first season as Bayern Munich coach is not supposed to be called an inexperienced coach.

Hopefully, Erik Ten Hak doesn't let Leverkusen slump this season, because it would be a shame if he failed again like he did when he took over at Manchester United. Keeping up with Bayern Munich might be difficult because they are currently so strong, and I think Leverkusen must be able to keep up with Dortmund if they want to finish second. Chasing the Bundesliga trophy is almost impossible at the moment, because Leverkusen has lost more of their key players following the departure of Xabi Alonso, so it will be very difficult for Erik Ten Hak to strengthen the team in his first season.
Yes, definitely it's a chance to do and die for the Eric ten hag to get rid of all his blunders and mistakes which he made as being the coach of Manchester United. Because if the Eric Ten Hag failed to show his skills and abilities and not bring the team in a good position this will be a moment of decision about his future. And i personally think he will never be able to get a chance like this. And definitely he will work to improve his performance but being viewers and fans we also should not expect too much from him. Because things will take time and the team also lost their many capable players. So, he has to work a lot for the well being of the team. This place is for him as he has to start from the very first step so expect less but expect good from him.

Expectations from Leipzig are immense but their results aren't satisfying the latest seasons.
Leipzig has an exceptional sponsor and they have Salzburg as a sister team, yet it was overtaken.
This season, their most expensive recruitment didn't exceed €20m and few players joined them. There is also some players left and others like Haidara in talks to join Paris FC .
For the coach, I hope him good luck because it isn't obvious to see the team miraculously beating Bayern Munich for example and their friendly match against Atalanta wasn't successful.

Sometimes staying very long without a job at hand might ruin some coaches reputation, I think that’s the case if Ten Hag, he doesn’t wants to stay long without him managing a big team, and Leverkusen is indeed a big team that has done well in the Bundesliga in the past two season under Xavi Alonso; therefore, since Alonso can be able to build the team from scratch, he should also do that, it’s all a matter of time.

Letting all the key players leave the club is not proper; the Leverkusen management and sporting directors didn’t make the right decision, they were expecting to get new players that can replace these players as quick as possible not knowing that even if they get players in their respective position, it will take them time to adapt to the team, and it will affect the team for a while.
However, I still trust Ten Hag, he might come up with something surprising, even though I don’t expect much from him due to the players left for him in his squad.

That has never hurt any coaches' reputation. Staying away from football and being selective about the offers they get is actually a strength and can improve their reputation. Everyone here knows these coaches going from one club to the next, regardless of the level of that club as long as they pay the salary. Go from Spain to England to Turkey to Saudi Arabia to the MLS, back to wherever. Those coaches claim they benefit from their extensive experience, but you could see that whatever way you want.

I prefer a coach who is able to stay away from being a coach and take some time and think thoroughly about a potential new team. Back in the days when Klopp left Dortmund for Liverpool, that was well thought through. It wasn't just because Liverpool is free and pays more. He wanted to build something. Most coaches these days don't care about the next country they will live in or the new team they will coach.

Common, don't take it to heart because these are friendly games and not every elite team puts in determined minds, they're just training to be fit and ready for what next season have to give. Leverkusen are trying so hard to build something solid here because they've put in the work and will always come out winning games with consistent performance. Leverkusen are experiencing a whole new change of style because the players making it happen have left and the available ones are doing their best to sealed up the chance they have.
