I can't speak for the project as far as possible partners or why the decision to add it was made. However, personally, I think adding NFTs has been a goal for a while. A couple years back, DECENT released a video explaining possible future usecases, one of which was custom, serialized event tickets. Don't know any other way to achieve serialized tokens without attaching data.
  Also there was an article some months back about STO's, which would also require linked data. DECENT is also partnered with Bardicredit to create an EU approved tokenized investment fund.

I agree they are a huge legal challenge. Not one I would want to undertake. Not sure how far along Bardicredit/DECENT is in producing this, so I'm can't say whether or not they are far behind any similar projects. Here is a video of a panel discussion Mr. Michalko took part in a few months back where STOs and the legal hurdles were discussed to some degree.

I have heard of a couple of other projects with event ticketing in mind. Not sure what they pulled in at ICO. I don't think DECENT's aim currently is to produce a specific app for this though. Their focus seems to be mainly in making their platform as widely adoptable as feasible for any potential developer to create 3rd party solutions upon.

If you don't mind explaining, why do you feel DCore is not a good fit for STO's and tokenized investments? I don't know much beyond the basics of that class of tokens, so your perspective would be appreciated.

Although they have done a great deal of damage to the dct holders, they speak shamelessly as if they have no responsibility.

I have sold all of my DCT in 2017, one thing that you should learn from invest in the crypto. you must go out from the market if you can especially when you are in the profit. I hope you will never think to use ICO as a long term investment because it's too risky caused by the decision will have decided by the team and so many icos have changed its roadmap at the middle of development.

the problem is not that they have changed their road map .... the problem is that nobody is interested in this project, neither investors nor developers and that is reflected in the price. If this project had been good and had been supported the price of this asset would have risen and such a thing has not happened. Therefore, nobody is interested in this project. A shame because I did believe in this project. fuck
