Then why would they send everyone to www.decentgo.com if they didn't "activate" your credentials ?

The problem experienced by at least several users here, is that the password created on the reclaim portal doesn't work with the decentgo login. I'm certain I'm using the same password and email (pasted across multiple files), and I receive the error "user not found". Are you, or anyone else seeing otherwise?

Additionally, I don't think the database would allow a new entry with the same email address, as it did, if they were already linked.

Guys, need your help. I accidentally created new user with same credentials as on ICO Reclaim portal. What do i do now ? Contact support and tell them that my email got balance on ICO Reclaim ?

You cannot login into Decent Go if you did not register on Decent Go.

Just use the same e-mail address and password as on icoclaim and DCT will be delivered to your account within hours or days.
What if you don't use the same password on go as you did on icoclaim? I used same email address but different password

Different passwords is ok. It even says so during the process.
But you get a different recovery seed and private key with the new decentgo.com account than the ICO reclaim account..what's the point of the original ICO recovery seed if we're supposed to create a new one?

Looks like a lot of us did the same. Shouldn't be a problem since e-mails match.

I will recap what is happening now.

1. Decent tells users by email that they can now login to DecentGo with the credentials created during reclaim process

2. People try to do it, but the accounts created during reclaim process do not exist on DecentGo, so they get user not found errors

3. No problem, since they have received a recovery phraze during ICO reclaim. So people try to recover the account, but get the error that the phraze is wrong.

4. Someone came up with the idea that you have to create a new account with the same credentials as before.

5. People create new account and even if using the same email/pwd combination get a completely new recovery phraze

6. Besides the recovery phraze a private key is displayed in small letters, which needs to be saved, but many people overlook it, and save only recovery phraze. To get the private key again, they will have later to generate the recovery phraze again.

7. After logging in they see their account has 0 balance and now wait up to 7 days in the hope coins will show up, as apparently the sending process will be done manually by comparing the email addresses of ICO reclaim with the email addresses of the newly created accounts.

8. Maximum confusion with no word from devs. I think it's the most confusing launch in crypto history.

1) Why were the instructions for logging in using the same credentials not written on the blog posts, or support forums? I would think email is one of the last places people would expect to see timely information during a launch. I have many tabs open, but not email.

2) I (and I'm sure others) tried using the same credentials as the reclaim portal, and they didn't work --> I received the error "user not found"; nor did entering the reclaim portal recovery phrase in the "forgot password" section or decent go. There I received there error "invalid recovery phrase".

By narrowing down the options, I also took the only choice of registering a new account using the same email address. What now?

Your private key was displayed during login. If you have not saved it, you have to generate a new recovery phraze, and it will be displayed again.

I have creat a new account with the same creadential of ico reclaim too....
What i did is :
I have click on "forgot password" on decent go and i have creat a new password. Like this i hope it will be not a probleme with ico reclaim account.

Having real problems here.

1. Wallet will not sync. Tried run as admin

2. Could not log in to DecentGo with claim credential, User Not Found.

3. Thought that I need to create an account. Big mistake.

4. I used the same email address. Change the password on the claim portal. But cannot access the account on Go.

5. Recovery Pass Phrase is not working

Comment: Why are multiple accounts allowed to be made with the same email.


Help!

I did the same here, totally not clear to the most of us what to do.

This is exactly right. But fact is that the DEVS SEND OUT 25 MAILS WITH THE INSTRUCTIONS AND PEOPLE CAME UP WITH THEIR OWN DUMB SOLUTIONS. They just gotta be patient for their account to activate.

Chances are that there are going to be conflicts because there are duplicate credentials.

They are running the network, receiving zero coin. Once each block starts producing coins, the Decent group is going to break off. Since no one has an account up and going, they have to do this.
