Horus doesn't know anything about what's going on. He doesn't work in wallets and they never tell him anything. All he knows is it is some "technical problem".

see...
I have never had access to wallets or dev area.

I have tried my best to be respectful of everyone here and answer any questions that I have the answers to. I have never had access to wallets or dev stuff, so I just have info that has been passed down.

Or maybe not?Huh?

Hello,

Do you by chance have link to the source code of the newest wallet? I can check against ours and see what's up.
Is that not THE definition of "wallets or dev stuff"Huh

So Horus... How could you work for a company in good conscience that doesn't tell you anything about such huge/scamlike/goxlike problems and just keep on trucking on doing your job as if it didn't exist?

Or have you told them that you don't want to know so you can have your plausible deniability? Are you trying to assure your own plausible deniability about all this by "not knowin nothin"?

Or are you just lying to everyone about not knowing what is going on?

BTW I personally believe you and jshock and others know exactly what is going on and you are lying to us telling all of us you don't know because you "don't work in that department".. This is just like a slap in the face..

I don't know..
I don't know..

don't work in that department

You are sadly mistaken. I wish I did know what was going on, it would make it better for me as well. Why would I know what is going on? as you quoted, I have never had access to any wallets or any code. I work investigations which at no point requires access to either of those departments. Jshock is Customer Service Manager so he would have access to none of that either. I am giving BigVern the benefit of the doubt for as long as I can because he has always been extremely good to me. At the end of the day, regardless of what is going on, I still have to do my work, people have hacked accounts, stuff need investigating. I can just hope they figure it out. I still have faith, but I am biased. If you're going to go all crazy on me and make accusations like this, at least let me give you a link on how to fold a proper tinfoil hat. instructables .com/id/Aluminum-Foil-Hat/

Horus, have you heard any comments about the recent lack of office supplies around Cryptsy's offices?

Horus is in Canada somewhere trying to stay warm. You're lucky he has access to the internet.

It's a cold, godless land Sad

The wolves are at your door dressed like sheep
Trying hard to hide the blood, to hide the blood from the crowd

They are trying to sell slavery as a dream to chase
Driven by fear consumer wars
No way to see their hoax

They are listening
They are watching
They wanna know what we do
They are faking our freedom
Hoping we believe it's true

The world is full of snakes whispering in your ear
A stream of seducing words from a cloven tongue

They are trying to sell slavery as a dream to chase
Driven by fear consumer wars
No way to see their hoax

Fences at the border dividing the world in two
Have-nots feed the have-lots obeying the market rules

The rats are spreading plague, no stopping the disease
Their rotten dirty bite infecting the whole world

They are trying to sell slavery as a dream to chase
Driven by fear consumer wars
No way to see their ho

For all of those waiting on Bitcoin withdrawals; Cryptsy currently holds 47+ Bitcoins in the main wallet recently used to send almost $3,000.00 worth of Bitcoin to Alphabay Market.

https://www.walletexplorer.com/wallet/Cryptsy.com-old

An even better question is, who the fuck keeps sending Bitcoin to Cryptsy??

As far as the wallet they actually let Bitcoin process to customers, they hold zilch. Nada. Nothing.

https://www.walletexplorer.com/wallet/Cryptsy.com

It's also rather obvious, unless BV is sending funds from Bitstamp, one user's funds are being used to pay other user's withdrawals.

You're the f*** who closed my account and stole my coin, immediately after I made a comment about Poloniex being a better option to the now TOTAL FAIL that is Cryptsy.  Someone made some bad deals on dark net or some s***, and now you're delaying withdrawals in order to use our money to pay for it.  Clearly this has nothing to do with technical failure - absolute *s.  You are very much a part of it man .. who are you trying to **** here?

Re: (ANN) Netcoin has gone POS! With PIR & OWI
Actually, I see you posted  on the 13th about the issue persisting for over a week. Looking at withdrawal of approx. 1 million NET, staking you would have received about 30 000 NET give or take a few over 2 weeks. Current rate this is about .039 BTC.    I am going to compensate your account this amount. Please reply when you see them in account, so I know you got them.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding in the matter.

Horus
Admin- Cryptsy.com

Thank You Horus. I did receive your generous compensation. I understand that there might be some issues with my withdrawal and I hope that this issue will be resolved in a timely fashion.

Seems Cryptsy finally processed my test withdrawal.

But I cannot say they are fixed. As I have not tried with 1 BTC+ yet. And I doubt I will!

That guy found a good Horus quote asking about a code source..
We don't know what he meant by that because Horus's response was evasive.
Can't post the Tinfoil hat meme on that one LOL

What was that quote about ?
Who knows.. it is possible he was just trying to do some digging on his own privately.
As in he had the same wallet on his home PC and wanted to compare against another version etc.
Be he didn't say that.. I did  Cool

I have no damn idea about Cryptsy's inner workings they tend to be tight lipped about it all.
And that is not going to change.
Common sense tells ya though you don't let all your staff have full code access.
Really there could be a lot of scenarios..
Hypothetically Hours could have had read-only access to some parts of Cryptsy internal wallets.
Or maybe he just knew what version wallet daemon the cryptsy server was suppose to be running via some UI ?
We don't know..
He never did say in that quote he has access to go change the code etc.. that was reading between the lines.

For all we know Horus has made comments referring to Cryptsy to get priority service around here.
Waiving the Cryptsy Staff card for VIP access and exaggerating his roll to make things look good.
Only to get quoted and shoved back in his face later LOL

Ok i'll put the tinfoil hat down now Wink

@peonminer
The 6 million dollar question is that account with the BIG stash.
THAT is the bit of info that tells us if they are insolvent or not.
With out that Bitcoin wallet link we would all think they have no BTC coins !

That other deepweb stuff i suspect might be them unaware of where the coins are going.
Do they look up every wallet address before sending coins out ?
Do they maintain a watch list of "bad" addresses ?
If they do ? ..then what ?
Are we assuming they have a mechanism for stopping / stalling transfers ?

Maybe they do know damn well what is going on with the Alphabay TX's from Cryptsy though.
Don't forgot they have already stated they have worked with the US Fed's.. LOTS !
Who knows what type of process they have for that or how streamlined it is..

It's plausible but unlikely they are simply ordered to send out AlphaBay transactions
so that they could be tracked by US Fed's for an ongoing investigation.

Hell guys maybe that is why there is withdrawal problems ?
Maybe the US Fed's have seized control of Cryptsy.
That may explain all this.. wouldn't it ?

They have done similar in the P2P world lots before so..

EDIT:

Guys it's Possible the FBI etc came down on them and BigVern bolted for China etc..
Then the FBI seized the Exchange and controls it now with existing staff still in place (told to be quiet)
It's possible BigVern simply fucked over all his staff and ran for it sucking all the BTC + LTC out with him.
As the Fed's continue their investigation..

EDIT2:

Or maybe BigVern's plans for China have nothing to do with the US Fed's..
but they did swoop down and seize the exchange still.
Really there could be a LOT of plausible scenarios in play here..

If you're waiting for a bitcoin withdraw from cryptsty, cancel your withdraw immediately, buy some altcoins and withdraw them directly to another exchange. It could be your only way out. Everyone seems to be doing it which in turn is driving up the prices of the altcoins, so do it quick before it's to late. I made it out with minimal losses. I've tried notifying people in chat politely and in turn just got banned.

You guys are going tinfoil hat again.  Admins had a small amount of BTC and some Points float to resolve any customer issues that arise. All I had to do was send that guy some coins to fix the error we had. I probably sent it via trade key even. I thought I was fair to him and it was good compensation. I don'e see it, but if there was a source code question, odds are someone updated me with a message saying there was a fork or update on a wallet and I asked for the code so I could send it to one of our wallet guys and save some time.
