Terrik is (IMO) a shill (one of many). everytime i visit cryptsy he's always online.

My negative trust rating is reflective of a personal vendetta by someone on default trust.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

I believe this is a rare funeral practice known as a Sky Burial.

It's very profound.

Forgive my petulance and oft-times, I fear, ill-founded criticisms, and forgive me that I have, by this time, made your eyes and head ache with my long letter. But I cannot forgo hastily the pleasure and pride of thus conversing with you.

True !
I posted when garmin posted first the link info story that i was skeptical.
but it turned out to be true.. staff have confirmed this.

Some staff have claimed this was planned in advance.
Also the Cryptsy lease in Canada expire next month i think Cryptsy staff said.

Staff said they don't have a new location to announce *yet.
If they don't hurry there will no longer be any physical location.. but maybe that is their plan all along ?

I sure haven't. I'm not big on Metal tbh.

Seem's like a very liberal interpretation of this conversation:

Admit it though you been lurking this topic haven't you ?
No, but i am now.

Agreed Suchmoon.  I've just picked up this thread and it's (understandably) filled with the rants of angry customers and a whole lot of irrelevancies - so hard to follow.

I haven't read the lawsuit but what can we do collectively to make a claim on what is rightfully ours?

If I had any substantial amount of funds stuck in Cryptsy I think I'd start by talking to a lawyer (individually).

For smaller amounts (that any decent lawyer would laugh at) I'd start complaining to every govt institution that I can find, from Florida's AG to CFTC.

In any case the expectations need to be realistic. This is not an FDIC-insured bank and there is a good chance the money is gone for good.

Early last week I sent an email over to the admin of Coinwarz regarding the prices of coins according to their value at Cryptsy which was causing an effect on the profitability stats.

I noticed over the weekend, Coinwarz added and fixed their ability to read other exchange values and now none of the top profit coins are showing Cryptsy values.  Props to the Coinwarz admin for working so fast.

In regards to withdrawals.. I havent been able to get any more of my small 10LTC withdrawals to process since my last post.  Of course, I opened a ticket about it, and again all i got was a generic reply about issues going on.   When I replied and noticed that the issues have been going on for 3 months, Cryptsy support suggested that i upgrade my account to tier 2 (which I have no interest in doing since I dont want to trade fiat), or cancel and do again small withdrawals -- which I had already done twice before.

THIS IS NOT FUD.

Ive only posted experiences Ive directly encountered with the exchange and shared replies Ive received from their support.   Right now I feel like I'm dealing with something that feels straight up shady, and have not been given a reason to think otherwise.  Ive posed the question of what the issue is MANY MANY times, each and every time getting avoided or a generic answer about unknown issues.   I can understand this going on for a few days, to a week or two - max.  This is just completely unacceptable.

The office based here in FL is only 20 minutes away from me.  I've been contemplating going to the office directly to find out what my options are to get my coins... but a rumor was thrown out there in the Cryptsy chat that the offices are empty.

WOW.

That is a bombshell.

My legal jargon is a bit rusty, but by the looks of that docket, Vern is going through a divorce and his assets are up for dissolution?  I see multiple crypto related company names listed in there.

where to report this in USA ?

You can try the FTC and SEC, but they likely have been investigating Cryptsy for a while now anyway.

I don't think there is anything you can really do right now but just watch them collapse, and wait for the legalities for formally get underway in the hope that you might get something back.

Unlikely you will though Sad Seems they have been insolvent for several months.  Undecided

FTC + SEC may not know how to trace blockchains ( WE KNOW )

ANOTHER QUESTION: IS VERN PROTECTED PERSON IN THE USA ( FTC + SEC WOULD NEVER DO ANYTHING TO HIM )
OR HE HAS NO SUCH PROTECTION?

Rest assured that three-letter agencies now have blockchain experts on their payroll to handle ongoing and future cryptocurrency investigations, with knowing first-hand that the FBI has such.

There's a room where the light won't find you
Holding hands while the walls come tumbling down
When they do, I'll be right behind you
So glad we've almost made it
So sad they had to fade it
Ev'rybody wants to rule the world

"Broken"

Between the searching and the need to work it out
I stop believing everything will be alright
Broken
We are broken
I'm walking uphill being turned around and round
Secret in motion when my feet are on the ground
Broken
We are broken
In my mind's eye
One little boy anger one little man
Funny how time flies

Songs From The Big Chair is one of my favorite LPs.

More folks not up to speed about Cryptsy in spite of this thread being up for months.

I wonder how much Paul Vernon can get on the black market for selling ALL of Cryptsy's clients' vitals.

No one has seen Mullick around in months. 80+wallet's int maintenance. I see hours in chat and ask him a simple yes or no question.. Hours, does Mullick still work for Cryptsy? this is the answer  get.    Hours with all the wallet issues why would you not know if Cryptsy Main wallet guy is still working for Crtptsy. I would have asked this question in chat, But I am sure I would have been banned for FUD.... So Hours does Mullick still work for Cryptsy or not? Simple question
