The future of paper money will never be replaced even though bitcoin will become increasingly popular among the people, as paper currency in each country has a more valuable historical value. Local people in the future will continue to use paper currency as the primary payment symbol in each country. As the older generations pass out, the fiat currency will become obsolete, crypto will become even more popular (with the end date though), but the precious metals will continue to have value in themselves.

Now I do not use paper money almost at all. It is not very convenient. I use a card to pay in stores, restaurants or do online shopping. And I know that my peers do not use cash usually as well. That's why I think that the paper money does not have a future.

I remember the old topic here in the forum about the "Cashless Society" there is big possibilities that we almost enter that society now. In the social media almost crypto currency are what they advertising. Their are many people now are already familiar about crypto's and already know about it. I really do believe that we are now entering the crypto world where all things can really buy through digital money especially bitcoin. The future of paper money will soon be revealed, I'm sure that it will not last for longer more. Cash will replace soon.
Be realistic man. Crypto currencies are damn popular among those who are in any way related to technology but those who are not much into gadgets, latest inventions etc they won’t ever be ready to cashless. Crypto market is going to flourish much more in the coming years but you just can’t expect t to replace fiat forever. Yeah it may be the future of paper money that is much easier to use, secured and no need of carrying it physically. Since the whole world is digitizing day by day, one day will come when there is no need of paper money at all. People will be care free because they know they have digital currency.

I doubt paper money will be able to survive more then 50 years from now, we are already into the digital era, where you can do almost anything at your computer as well your phone. Before paper money we had gold and silver transactions and i doubt someone had thinked those would be over, and replaced by paper, each time evolution removes and improves soo i do expect the digital future, and crypto had boosted a lot those.
Gold and silver still not eliminated even though all the transactions are made in cash money or paper money (whatever you may name it). So even if bitcoin take over paper money in about 40 to 60 years, yet we cannot completely get rid of it. It will still be used in some parts of the world as mean of transactions , most probably in rural areas.

Paper money will stay forever. Why? Because its easier to make than coins.
Paper money is still there because bitcoin is made due to the needs in the digital world. Many of us is thinking what comes tomorrow because they are afraid that everything will be replaced by technology. However I'm still believe that paper money will last forever. Paper money is going to last for a long of time but it is not going to last forever, if technological progress keeps going forward then it could be possible that technology like the one we have now is available no matter your level of income and that will bring the demise of paper money in the future.

I think that paper money would still exist as it would make it possible to transfer money in places where there is not internet connection available as bitcoin requires an internet connection to be transferred. Once people realize that it is much easier to transfer bitcoins through the internet they would start using it. As I heard from a very smart people- USD is being used in the USA, bitcoin is being used in the global network.

To have money in a bank account, we still need cash, but every country's cash is printable and it is not limited. This is the problem. The unrestrained nature of cash will inevitably lead to inflation, which no one wishes. Electronic money is considered as gold or diamond. To get it we have to "exploit" using complex algorithms. The more participants, the harder it is to exploit and it is limited, so its value will increase. => The inflation problem will be solved. I think the future of paper money will no longer prevail, and electronic money will solve every problem

Still, paper money has the biggest credibility and acceptability in the market. people used to feel comfortable to use paper money for thier transaction purpose. electronic money can play an important role to replace the cash in the economy but it can be said that paper money will last for a long time because of its acceptability and availability. when cryptocurrency will dominate in the monetary system then the demand for cash will be decreased otherwise not.

Everything will change, including with paper money. the time will come when paper money will disappear and be replaced with digital money or other technology. I'm sure 50 more years paper money will disappear.
Yes there are many changes may happens in the future including in the world currencies. But there is no possibility that paper money will disappear and replace with digital currency. Yes, we accept that bitcoin currency is very popular nowadays and many are using this but isn't enough a reason that it will replace paper money. They are both currency but bitcoin is applicable only for online transaction unlike paper money that can be used both local and online transactions.

Paper money have not that bad future and that is because there are now here still a lot of people that dont even know about Bitcoin and that is why they are using still their paper money as their payment method. And of course you can see that people is going to use Bitcoin more and that it also becomes more popular but it wont replace it.

I believe that paper money will not disappear, because there must be an alternative in the event of a global catastrophe or breakdown of the Internet. In addition, in poor countries it will be more difficult to introduce e-currency.

The paper money will exist forever because no matter how many bitcoin we have keep in our wallet in the end we will convert it into cash. Many people around the globe dont know how to use bitcoin and they dont know how it works especially the uneducated or the poor who not even know how to use computer for digital transactions.

It certainly will take a lot of time along with more awareness to the people about it. We can expect a society without paper money but I guess it will take a century or so. It cannot be done in a month or in a year.

For a longer time maybe but not forever, this world will change and we are going to live a more faster life because of the convenience the technology has brought. Innovation after innovation will happen and if we do not want to be left behind we need to adopt, it will not happen abruptly but slowly the world is changing.

you can't imagine the world without paper money, it is impossible to ban paper money for ever. do you know how many people are using plastic money and card? I think this number is very small in comparison to the whole population. and virtual currency also being used by the small number of people. most of the people are feeling comfortable to keep or use paper money still now. regarding paper money, only security is the problem in order to carry out, but for me, still, there is nothing to be a replacement for paper money. so it will last for ever.
