I would suggest you to buy something like 5 bitcoins when the Bitcoin price is 280 USD, and sell 4 of the coins when the price is around 350 USD,
5 X 280 = 1400
4 X 350 = 1400
so you will get 1 btc free of cost.

Your calculations are fine so far.
The only thing you have to do right now it to wait for the price to decrease.
But how do you know it will go down that much?

I dont want you to stick to the prices that I have mentioned, just buy it when you are able to and sell it at a good price and earn like 0.5 to 1 btc as a profit.

I will add:

You buy @ 350 suddenly the price went down to 320. No worries just hold. No big losses since no can turn down much price today. Read speculations and learn to read charts. Buy @ 320. Price booms @ 350. Matter of you if you sell it. Price booms to lets say 360-370 and you see no further movement from that. Now sell those you buy @ 350. Of course dont stick with my suggested price. Its just a scenario that if you buy at high*, dont regret and keep going on. You can cover the loss I will swear with the proper analyzation and move.

Former bitcointalk enthusiast and doing some signature campaign also in the past here but now holding lots of bitcoin (worth million if converted in our currency) after they learned and start doing trades a years ago. Nope I don't pay. I seek an advice and they really want to teach an interested person in trading than doing shit method to earn btc like MMM or any pyramiding schemes here in our country. The team is really nice and even teach me one on one about some terms and proper reading in charts. Im not that pro when reading the chart compared to them. Im still learning some parts of it like indicators type means and forming a fearless speculation.

Trading isnt that easy, its a number game. And you also need patience. You could even lose big money. Start trading with less amount ,start with alt coins.

I have been an investor for 20+ years across asset classes.
I've done well with my investments.  I research everything deeply and attribute this success to savings discipline, and avoiding foolish mistakes and rash decisions.

BTC is a unique asset class, and also a hedge against monetary policy failure and geopolitical risk.
3% of my net worth is in precious metals, and 2% is in BTC.
I do not plan to sell my BTC, and will continue accumulating.
Since I want BTC to succeed, I keep mine in circulation- I invest most of my BTC in margin loans and collateralized P2P loans.

If you are a new saver/investor, 1 BTC is a good place to start.  But don't buy all at once, and don't watch the (USD, EUR, etc. equivalent) balance obsessively.  
The high volatility is just an characteristic of its high expected future returns.

Of course, there is risk just as in any speculative investment.

This is true, but the thing is you never know when the price is going to increase until later when it's happens.
You just have to buy as low as possible, I would say right now would be a good time to buy.

This is true, but the thing is you never know when the price is going to increase until later when it's happens.
You just have to buy as low as possible, I would say right now would be a good time to buy.

But because the price of bitcoin already drop so many, "maybe" in future the btc price will going up again.

It depends on when you invest in Bitcoin.The timing is relevant.When people start panicking and running around like headless chicken, dumping as much as possible, it's a good time to put yourself into position for buying.
Buying when the hype started is always risky, because no one knows how high it will go.Another main factor is much how long do plan to hold your coins. The market going up and down is pretty normal and shouldn't bother you, if you let's say wanna hold hold for at least 5 years. But this isn't that easy for many people when suddenly psyche kicks in!

It depends on how do you define long. If 1 year is long enough for you than do not invest but if 10 years or more you are talking about than I think you should invest.
