It will be good investment if you buy today and wait for the halving your bitcoin will be double and if you wait for another 4 years your bitcoin may triple its price so bitcoin is a good for long term investment.
We ca not be sure that the price will double due to halving.In worst case nothing will happen. And it's even more harder to predict what Bitcoin will be in 4 years! But it is undeniable that Bitcoin is having a lot of potential and therefore it could be worth it to hold a small of your savings in Bitcoin. |

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

How safe is it?
i think it is pretty safe to buy bitcoin now, price will be larger later, price is not expensive at all now so i think that you should have lots of money later, for example, selling it after halving Yes is pretty save to buy your bitcoins right no because the price is now pretty nice and it will most likely gonna rise to a higher amount for sure. The halving will let us make profit on a short term and with a long term it will most likely even be more profitable because of all the events and popularity its gaining. |

if you hold it for about 30 years, you'll be rich!!! (or the bubble could explode and the bitcoin dies... but i prefer the hypotesis 1) let's save 0.1month in 30years you will reach arround 36BTC and if the price reach $100.000 you will be millionare  many people are not sure about the future of bitcoin because we've been living for 7 years and it was quite a long time. but we can not speak much on the world stage. many people who doubt that bitcoin will die before 30 years. maybe it's their argument. I think people are free to say it. lets see I will buy 1 BTC now at the price of $ 420 and see what happens. I predict could be a $ 10k |

long term investement just like gambling,we all dont know what gonna happen in future,now bitcoin price $425 and its keep raise,but we all not know in one month or one years later bitcoin will keep rise or down. you are lack of knowledge, doesn't mean other people are. lots of people can predict the future, one month or one year is definitely predictable, even 10+ years, of course with less accurate but may still reliable. Just because others get profit thru trades it doesn't mean they can predict future. It's just they feel their investment strategy is good whenever they executing their buy and sell move. They to have a good strategy towards tradings thats why they keep profiting whenever they do trades in the market,investing 1 btc in trading is a wise decision. |

Its always good to make an investment in Bitcoin, the most important is that when you are going to sell it and that you have to wait for a good moment to sell your Bitcoins.
That is the most important one, you can make an investment but the selling moment is more important.
I think you are right to a great extent since bitcoin price changes very much and selecting the right time to buy and sell is important. Its never indeed bad to make an investment in Bitcoin because Bitcoin will have also a good future and that will be nice for the currency itself. If you are making an investment than you want to make some profit with it, but that can takes a long time until the value will be more. |
