You should buy right after the halving! Just after the halving the majority of holders will dumpa as hell, and so will the price! It means the right time to buy is just after the halving  Before of halving or next pump sounds more logic, less reward, prices will go up after. |

Make some purchases today and if this thread still exist in the upcoming years come back here and state your output.
I've tried it dude, approximately 4 months ago on octber. I bought 1 BTC when prices are still stepping $ 312 and I sell them at the end of the year at a price of $ 500, very profitable Two days ago, the Bitcoin price was $375. Today it is $390. So it is very profitable. But I do not know how long it will last. That's what you called the taking advantage when the price is on roller coaster. Some day traders doing that. For those big traders the margin they want is at least large amount to really gain a big time profit. @ajun Nice move there. |

it all depends on how much coins you will buy. some people don't want to take much risk and they buy exactly 1 bitcoin. it will give you a decent return, but it won't make you rich. if you want to become rich, then you will need to hold at least 1000 bitcoins. then you will get very close to being rich at some point in the future. 1 bitcoin won't make you rich. |

Ye I think buying 1 bitcoin is a good investment,
The only problems are that the value of 1 bitcoin would need to increase A lot per bitcoin if you want more profit.
Of course 100 euro profit is already good but because if u only have 1 coin, it is only 100$ profit.
While if u had 100 coins u would have 10000$ profit!
I think bitcoin has become to expensive to invest in for most people.

Don't tagged 1000btc to be considered for you as a rich. |

Yeah, its good to buy 1 btc at a moment with present price, and having 1 btc in cold storage can be helpful as a investment for the future, who knows the value might reach to $1m in future.

Considering today's price which is a little high, but still a good time to save atleast 1 bitcoin, we might profit from it in 6 months time if there's no dramas and scandals that would hinder it... |

1 btc is always a good amount to hold, but maybe it won't be enough in future depending on the value of bitcoins in future, as I don't think that value of bitcoin would be in millions, its better to hold some more number of bitcoins.

The price has been changing alot since the OP started this topic so you would know how valueable the investment is but most people still thinks that because of the price volatility , btc is considered as a not good long term investment since the price could swing alot in long term |
