it's not a very safe investment of money in my opinion, but can be probably profitable and high potential of profit IMO, You should not invest more money than you are ready to lose in bitcoins.

Yes it is for sure, if you now invest in one bitcoin you will not regret it, the halving is also coming so if you long invest you will make profit for sure.
Its one of the best things you can do at the moment, long invest and be patient.

The block reward halving from 25 to 12.5 will reduce the daily supply from 3600 to 1800 bitcoins. So the price could rise.

the demand might get a short term boost, but at this point there are less than 6 million coins left to be mined. i wonder how long the price will continue to reach new highs when institutional investors still haven't a professional platform to do their trading. as long as they can't enter the market we will never see a price close to $5000 or even more.

Yes it is. The value is now very low. I think you will get a lot of profit if you invest now and sell it later.
But you never know what can happen later in the future. Bitcoin can also fall and that will be not good for us.

If it is a good long term investment to buy BTC, then it holds good for 1 BTC as well as 10 BTC.

Almost any of the big three Cryptos will be worth more 10 years down the line or five years down the line.  It is like buying stock in Walmart or Microsoft.  But you can never be sure about buying them now and making money six months from now or two weeks, it is just a matter of how it goes.

yes, bitcoin is risky, but if you scattered it around in different bitcoin investment, then I think it is safe enough...

It is. I think now is the best moment to invest in Bitcoin. The value is now very low and that is not so good to sell Bitcoin.
If you now invest, then you must have patience. I hope that Bitcoin will rise later in the future to a higher value

Regardless of where Bitcoin ends up even if you lose it all, it should still be a good investment. There is definitely more confidence behind the coin this year than in some of the previous years. Cryptocurrencies are still in their infancy though.

No the risk here is big generally but we will not succeed if all we have to think is that "risk".

There are lots of way to control and play with the risk to minimize the loss that possibly be made while doing a bitcoin investment.

I think we just need to wait patiently for the price to rise again. The price will be over $1200 some time next year.

According to me bitcoin is very much safe and good to invest in bitcoin. Because in upcoming years there are many options for bitcoin to come to attack fiat currency.

Its very good to long invest in the bitcoin itself, the bitcoin is a very good currency to invest in.

The current price of $400 is not a pump. If the price would sit at $450 right now, then it can be seen as a pump. If you buy right now it is still a good investment for the long term. You just need to have patience and not panic if the price is going down heavily. You need to have steel ballz.

I disagree. IMO the right price for Bitcoin now is $500, so even if it hits $500 I wouldn't consider that as a pump and I wouldn't start selling at that point and I think most of Bitcoin holders will do the same.

So my advice is if you want to buy Bitcoins buy them before they are under $500 because in the near future it might stabilize there for sveral months and after that it will go even higher.
