Completely safe.Bitcoin has a bright future and to buy 1 btc today for a long term would be the wisest decision in my opinion.Bitcoin is $400+ at current rate and if anyone buy it even at this price,he would make huge profit in long term |

Completely safe.Bitcoin has a bright future and to buy 1 btc today for a long term would be the wisest decision in my opinion.Bitcoin is $400+ at current rate and if anyone buy it even at this price,he would make huge profit in long term It depends from many factors, starting from the envirement where the bitcoin is saved, it can not be saved everywhere, if i were the OP i would buy a hardware wallet and leave the bitcoin(s) there for a long time, but 1 BTC is not a large profit in a long term. |

It's a good time to invest 1 or more bitcoins now, because the halving is close and the chance for the bitcoin's price to increase is big. The price can increase up to $500/bitcoin. |

Good long term investment doesn't mean you will hold 1 btc.
In the road of that long term investment you must then do some buy and sell method so that your initial investment will grow soon.
yeah it's just an expression. you can buy whatever you think could be giving out a lot of advantages. maybe 2-5 BTC will give you a pretty good profit Today is a good time to buy |

It can be of course very good if you can wait a long time to get that much profit, and you need some patience as well otherwise you will sell it too early and that can be bad.
Just make an investment and wait for a good value when you think it has the right value to sell it that you can make some profit with it, but you must know that it can take a long time.
Waiting 1 - 2 month for 100$ is not profitable better to work somewere and get 200$ instead waiting when bitcoin will grow. Need to manage your time to be rich. I think we can not choose the time or duration to hold. because the price tidka bitocin predictable. but usually 1-3 months you can get a considerable profit from fluctuations |

Yes it is a good investment. Since the price is about is about to increase tremendously post mid 2016 due to block reward halving, so risk is less.
It is wise and secure enough.

People lacks patience and big whales are taking advantage of it by buying at lower price and selling it high, and if you are treating bitcoin as a investment then you should wait for certain period of time to expect good returns from it.
I think we should have long term view of the bitcoin. If we hold it for 10-20 years, the return will be high. I think people are confused to wait for prices to go back down or bought at the current price it happened because there was no sign of going up or down bitcoin is very difficult to predict. so that's why it often happens one buy or sell one. resulting in losses |

for long term investment 1 BTC is still less i guess because with holding 1 BTC for next few years i think you will not earn huge profit and it's just only wasting your time and in my opinion if you have 1 BTC now just use it for your trading capital because that amount it's enough to your trading activity i thought

Yes, it is good to buy a bitcoin now for long term investment, as this year and the coming years are good for the price of bitcoin and as now a large number of peopel ar adopting it so it will flourish and will benefit you more , so buy it now and hold it you will earn more with it, especially with the halving at the mid of this july.

So basically if bitcoin tanked into $200 - can you survive losing $200 in a sense. Most people should be able to afford that risk. |

I will say Yes , if i only have that amount of money i will buy much bigger than 1 btc , i believe that bitcoin value will increase at $800 in the near future ,just like saving on the bank but this can be a big passive income if that happens in a short period of time.

It's 50% safe, 'cause there are 2 futures to bitcoin, it rises and its price increase to $10000 or more, or it could end. think about it by the time that we know if bitcoin will either fail or succeed, and also by that time 95% of the people have already sold the coins that they bought at current prices. only the top elite of traders have enough patience and dedication to hold their coins for at least 10 years. other people already struggle with holding their coins for more than a few months. that's a real difference. bitcoin millionaires will only get richer by that time |
