It's not safe, but right now there's a strong chance that bitcoin will go up. This is because of the recent drop in bitcoin's price. I've bought almost 5 bitcoin, so if you invest too, we'll be hoping for profit together If you want to hold long term, it will be profitable. We all know that, dont we? wow sound like good you buy %bitcoin at under $300 ? at corection price ? congratulation for your luck friend

I think buying on 8th October when this thread was written, was a perfect idea. Value of Bitcoin raised for 30%. I wonder what OP did back then.

I don't think it would be worth it, that's the sort of thing that made sense back when you could buy Bitcoin for a few cents/dollars. I don't see Bitcoin spiking to thousands of dollars anytime soon. However, say if you find $310 by the side of the road one morning, then sure, go ahead and dump it into BTC, you never know.
It's worth it if the person in question believes the value of Bitcoin goes up. If you don't have that believe in Bitcoin, then you are better off with not buying at all. If you do believe in the future of Bitcoin, then there is no better time to buy than now

If you do believe in the future of Bitcoin, then there is no better time to buy than now Basically only believing in bitcoin can't considered as assurance here. The point here is, bitcoin really changed since then and 100% it will not fail anytime soon. Don't expect that $1000 price in the past. If you want to invest in BTC go for profits whatever the value is. Learn to buy when the price is in dip situation. One tip, you can summarize all weekly volume to have your own fearless forecast about the upcoming trend. Reading traders speculation might help too.

To me I can say that it is a good way to kick start your investment journey. At times, it is always very difficult for one to be able to invest a large amount of coins at once. Therefore given an opportunity to start investing with the little you have will be a better version. After a long time, you will discover that you have invested and accumulated a lot of coins to an extend you cant believe it. The other reason I can say it is worth it is because, bitcoins are always expensive due to their involved mining process, therefore saying that you will buy lots of them will be a little bit difficult.
Well said there. In bitcoin investment, one great recipe here is to have a patience. Bitcoin price really drops but right now with the current status of it, it is difficult to imagine that Bitcoin today will crash very soon. So just buy when it dip. You can't see the profit and output quickly but it's a sure thing for a long term. Last rally, I see some traders who buy when it reach to $280 (that's a high price back then last month) but think twice if they will sell it @ 350 since no one is expecting a 400 mark. Then the price reach 500 then slowly go down That's the time they execute their dump move to make profit. Some didn't rush to sell so they make profit. Patience really must.

It's good to consider that investing a large amount of Bitcoin will involve risks. It can either go up or go down in price, if you're worried about safety then you might be concern about the actual value of your 1BTC now when compared to the future. It's always smart to invest only so much amount that you're willing to lose. But yes, someday I'm sure your Bitcoins will grow in value.

The effect will be lower price. So it's better to wait for about a month before doing a big buy. Like I said, it's a speculation.

All speculations must have basis because just speculating will not help. After Christmas up to New Year, I see prices will boost so much better to buy at dip. This speculation has basis. I will show it once we reached December up to second week. Right now Im trying to determined the dip range of the price. Candlesticks showing me a same volume of pump and dump. Let's see what will happen in the upcoming weeks.

do what i have done over the last 2 years buy a little every month, say $20 or what ever you can afford and in the long term it averages out (sometimes you buy high, some times you buy low) never speand more than you can afford. If it goes bust then so what you lost a little in a educated investment which didnt pay off, but if it pays off which i believe it will in the next 10 years then it was a small price to pay....... all the best some times i find myself saying "well its up by $40 this month so mybe i'll hold on and buy on the dips" but to be honest i believe that the future of bitcoin is in the thousands, so even at current prices its a bargin. IN MY HUMBLE OPINION.........

We already have consolidated.Remember the spike at $500 not that long ago? And if the price goes below $300 it will be just for a very short time during christmans vacation. In new year we will go up.But not sure how much.At least this is my prediction how things could go the next weeks.
