it was the best time to buy when everybody was crying about the price and calling bitcoin dead, and it was low at $200. now it is time to sit back and enjoy the ride

The price is still very low when you consider what bitcoin COULD become. 250 USD might look cheap in 10 years when 1 bitcoin is 10,000 USD. Who knows, that's why this is the speculation forum

I dont think you should buy them now because he is really high at the moment. If you listen to the people in the speculation topic there are allot who says that he is going down so wayt for buying.

Yes good to wait for sometime and keep a close watch on price movement, as price is really high now so cannot afford to buy with this price.

I also have a view that prices will fall before approaching halving, but it's really hard to predict, it could be the current price is more stable to halving occurs. but I would say to buy the current is too high.

The price could fall to $500 in the next few weeks. But it will not fall below $500 before the halving.

Its not the point in waiting price to go down, point is to buy before price to go up. That is how you earn money in trading.
Its not always smart to just wait and wait. Lower price can be now, if for few months we see bitcoin on 2000 $ for example. Get the point? Now is low, buy it.
That's why trading is like a gambling, you never know what to expect.

The price could fall to $500 in the next few weeks. But it will not fall below $500 before the halving.

bitstamp already got dumped down to $501 a few days ago. my guess is that the price will keep bouncing between $500-$550 till we are only a week or two away from the block halving. by that time i expect a final pump to cause the price to hopefully reach at least $600 on exchanges as bitfinex.

I am quite sure that if there still is another pump to +$600 prices upcoming, then it will surely happen before the block halving. I expect the price to fall back as soon as the block halving has taken place, and from there it will be somewhat stable for quite some time.

If the bitcoin user increase 40% a year, then the price will double every year. That is the network effect.
