Will BTC reach $600 during the first month of the new year?

It is looking to be a good bet to get to test around $500.
Not sure how long it will last to be honest but there is a nice chance of at least touching it before a slight maybe quite big drop back to $420-$450.
Only a few weeks left and we will see.

if we can break it, we can potentially go much higher even before the year end, a tough call but it's possible, to have another unsubstantial increase toward 600 and then a drop to 500 that will look more rock solid

Yes, this is a huge psychological barrier! If we can break through it with some force, we will go deep into $500! I think this will as well happen during the month of December! Volume is huge and there is a tone of upwards pressure on the price!

Actually it's fine for people like that if only people will say their speculation with support or basis and not just "yes it will reached $500" because the price increase up to $450 or "no it wont reached" because the price dip, let's say @ 400". So annoying.

Agree very much with your observation. Unfortunately most of the posts, like 90%, in the speculation section are wild speculation not based on anything rather than so called gut-feeling and usually not backed by any explanation. Very few really interesting posts or insightful analyses to be found in here. And plenty of topics: 'to the moon' and 'crash is imminent' or alike.

I see the price increased ~+$20 since the last time I checked it.
$461-464 in the major exchangers (except btc-e $457 and kraken $459) but the interesting part is 475-476$ in the Chinese exchangers and that's mean that $500 isn't that far

Cause of this price movement, I cant sleep much because of monitoring. Sudden dump may happen again like last weekend from 460 - 420. I want to make profit in today's movement or should I say Im on profit now just maximizing it up to possible point.

It depends. If the volume stats today will be the same until the end of the month, no drop will happen as we entered January. We will see the possible dump scenes once the price reached $500. Hope the bulls will win this rally.

I think bitcoin may go to 500 dollars and than go back. I doubt that it will just brake like that.

I don't quite understand why you think this is the best decision to sell right at the $500 mark. I mean sure, from the past pump the major resistance was around $500 which crashed to the low $300's... but that was a bubble that was just primed to pop at any moment.  The growth in the price has been pretty steady since the beginning of November, and seems like it is primed for another long term pump up until at least spring, when there will be huge speculation pumps and dumps because of no known certainty with what the halving will do.  I think by spring time by next year we will get to at least the $650-700 mark, give or take.  Just be careful and trade accordingly.

I can for say that $500 is very realistic but I don't believe anything 100% besides that. I'm predicting in 2016, the price of bitcoin won't be below $600 after a while.
