Kevin Garnett has retired. Lots of greats ended their career this last season, truly the end of an era for NBA basketball.
I honestly didn't like KG in his last few years in the NBA, acting like an immature bully because he can't win anymore. I liked him in his days with Minnesota and his first year with Boston. Lebron was criticized before for being a sore loser to the Orlando Magic. But Garnett is an even bigger loser than him. Can't blame the guys, that's the way he plays and that gives some action in the floor, personally I like that kind of attitude in the floor because it adds up the excitement of the game, I like Artest as well. I think that is just their style of play to distract the focus on their opponent.

This is it, Kevin Garnet now hanging his jersey after 21 season. The Big Ticket is one of the loyal players I have seen in the league because he just left his first team Minnesota Timberwolves after decades due to frustration about what is happening on this team. He carry Timberwolves many times and even bring this team in the Western Conference finals which is unusual. Kevin Garnett Says 'Farewell' After 21 Seasons In The Nba
Ron Artest should be given enough minutes to make the game entertaining, I like the way he plays because he is so physical and that makes his teammates to be inspired and will play as hard as they can, they have a lot to prove this season because they cannot make excuses anymore that Kobe just ruin the game.
Yeah when we talk about Ron Artest it's really a physical one and even in Metta World Peace still he's physical. i just read the news and we have now 3 big players out well it time that new kids show what they can do and i hope that they will do good

Good thing for Kevin Garnett, he really put himself on a trade that's why he able to experience in grabbing the NBA ring. Timberwolves upsets him that's why KG think of transferring the team. He really loves Twolves but that's not enough for the team to support him in many ways.

After Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett, another superstar will bid farewell to the league.
Paul Pierce will retire after this upcoming season. He will still play at the Los Angeles Clippers with the guidance of his coach for a long time, Doc Rivers.
It's really hard for us fans who watched them in their entire era to see happenings like this. Now I know what is the feeling of those fans back in the time of 70s, 80's, 90s who watched those superstars in their entire peak.

I think what seperates the 90's and below from the 00's is the intensity of their game in which you will see ferocious dunks, fouls, trash talk, and brawls. All of the superstars back then need to really hassle just to score a point. Nothing compared to this generation in which you can easily get a foul and score buckets with free throws. I will surely miss the 90's super stars their were the last of its kind.

Golden State is going to shine again this season. Durant is every teams wanted due to his non greedy way of playing. By the way Melo unless he understand team work can't get a ring forever.
I agree with everything you said. Golden State is the team to beat this season and has to be the favorite, despite losing in the NBA Finals last season to the Cavs. The addition of Kevin Durant is a big boost for the Warriors, and I think he will adjust nicely to playing with other superstar players. As long as Carmelo stays on the Knicks, he will never get a chance of even going to the Eastern Conference Finals, let alone winning a ring. The Knicks will be a decent playoff team this season but nothing more.

I suppose you're talking pretty much of James Harden's game when you say you can easily get a foul and score buckets in this generation. After Pierce, it's gonna be Dirk's retirement next. He's 38 already.

definitely starting to feel old because all of my favorites when in high school like kobe and garnett and pierce are all retiring! I'm glad he is announcing this is his last year so he can get a goodbye tour from the fans like Kobe did. Wish duncan did that but it's not his style.

I remember buying NBA cards as a high schooler and trade them with my classmates and would argue who's the best player in the league.

About Vince Carter, there's no such thing as retirement on his mind now. He stated that months ago. Well as long as there are good offers and still he can play, why not grab it? Dirk Nowitzki on the other hand, I wish he will play for more seasons to come.
I remember that awesome NBA cards. I remember collecting the cards of Reggie Miller, because they all collecting Michael Jordan and I dont want to be part of their group that why I collected Miller.
NBA cards are hype here too back in 90's. Michal Jordan cards are really rare unlike there in your environment. I didn't even have a chance to own one of the MJ cards lol.

It really makes me feel old that today's young guns are not even born when I was in high school.

LeBron: 'Personal goal' to surpass Jordan as NBA's bestWell not bad and for sure he will be the one of the best in the league but not as the same as Jordan as every players have different specialty. Superstars will today will remember for sure in the future. Lebron already proved himself in the league after criticisms he received since the year he entered the league and that is unforgettable. What can you say?

I like his attitude and the way he plays he is just like dancing swiftly as he plays. But with Lebron, I admire him because he is getting close to Jordan for his achievements but I don't think we need to compare him to Jordan for they are totally different.
