Time again for trade rumors.

Im watching these trade rumors right now and let's see what will happen:

LaMarcus Aldridge to Atlanta Hawks? (Looks like this time, we can't see a twin towers in San Antonio Spurs)
Paul Millsap to San Antonio Spurs?
DeMarcus Cousins to Golden State Warriors or Cleveland Cavaliers with Kevin Love, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green?

I posted here back then that Klay Thompson is always on the trade options. This is gonna be surprising.

Aldridge responds to trade rumors: “We made history last year. They incorporated me into the family and tried to make me one of the big pieces. I’m from Texas. I see my family. I’m winning. Of course, I’m happy. That’s why I don’t buy into the rumors.”

He gives us a hint there about the possible outcome.

For me this trade wont happen, the Aldridge and Millsap trade. Both players are great and equal, but it will not be good for both teams because they will adjust again. For the Spurs, they need win right now, they have no time to adjust because their main players are getting old.

If the management and the price is right, it will happen. We don't control the minds of the management since there are lots of factors why they are giving up even a key players. One good example is maximizing their salary cap so that they can able to sign other player that will really give bright future in the franchinse.

But hey we all don't know what will happen.

Maybe he likes his stay but he does not make the decision here, it is all about the money dude and spurs making the championship would mean money for them as that's what they are known for, the fact that they have been beaten by the Thunder last season, there could be a problem with the line up, and I believe the two tower in the addition of gasol does not help at all. They need Millsap to improve their line and compete with the warriors.

Well pre-season games are often took as a practice game in which the coaches are testing various combination of line ups. I mean its not the Mavs fault as they added a lot of new faces in their team. Also it gives them a chance to have a feel in the team's chemistry. And I would not focus on winning pre-season games that much as coaches don't want to injure their players early on before the regular season even start.

You have a point there, but at least we were able to determine what team are a legitimate team to enter in the playoffs, in the west there are a lot of good teams and the Mavericks failed to enter in the playoffs last season and they do not add a player with a superstar capability so I guess it will be the same result in the past season, the Timberwolves would be a good team to watch now.

Yeah i agree that this year's mavs team doesn't have a legitimate chance of advancing deep in the playoffs right now. The dirk era is almost over and i agree with that the next couple of years we would see a rebuilding mavs team built on younger players. Wishing them luck thus season though, dirk is still one of my favorite players

The winner for the first game between the warriors vs the spurs will be the next NBA Champion, Lebron is going to be lucky if the warriors will advance in the west as they know how to beat the team even with Durant on board, but in the event the spurs will win, Lebron will be shut down by kawhi. Interesting prediction haha, I agree that Lebron had a lot of troubles with KL in the past (but he also suffered against Iguodala). I understand is a joke that the winner of tomorrow's game will be the next NBA champion but the Spurs can definitely have a big season. However I don't see them as the true contenders in the west against the Warriors. They are regrouping after the loss of Duncan and other small moves, I just don't seem them as menacing as they once were (in the Miami Lebron era for example).

I think the team that could have a good change are the Clippers, they've been playing together forever and always come up short even if they managed to eliminate a favorite like the Spurs. This is the year that they can go all the way (if they can remain healthy and focused). The Warriors are the clear bet but I find that just one injury to either Durant, Curry or even Green will jeopardize the whole project, it really has no depth in my opinion compared to last year. The season is long and gruesome, the Cavs are much better equipped right now to handle it (plus the East is an easier ride) and should get to the Finals without breaking a sweat.

Westbrook just signed a 3 year contract extension with the Thunder a month after Durant left the team so I was thinking how will the Heat will breach the contract.

But thinking that Cavaliers will be in finals again or just for east finals, I'm very sicked to see them in finals.

I wanted other teams to reach that achievement even just for east finals. I hope another team is going to boom just like what warriors did.
