Lol Irving requested to be out of Boston. Where have you been? Kemba already signed with Boston as Irving's replacement.

I think Boston is better without Irving, last playoffs they got dominated while compared to the previous than the last, they reach in the ECF.
I hope Kemba would be a good fit, as long as he is a better passer, I think this time might have more achievement this coming season.

only one thing that bothers me is who will replace Horford which is a very consistent player.
he is out in Boston - https://www.bostonglobe.com/sports/celtics/2019/06/30/horford-reportedly-headed-sixers/maNy1UWLnINo77U25vIfzK/story.html

Weird that Al was let go of Boston, I think he is a good fit with them. Anyways, what will be his role in Sixers though. We already seen that Kyrie is really heading out specially on how the team did this year when he is fully healed and healthy. There is so much promise with him in the Boston, unfortunately the 2019 season was really bad even though everyone is back. Maybe he was not the type that can really lead a team.

Some notable contract extensions/free agents resigning so far:

Klay Thompson – Golden State Warriors (5 years, $190M)
Damian Lillard – Portland Trail Blazers (4 years, $194M)
Jamal Murray – Denver Nuggets (5 year, $170M extension)
Patrick Beverley – LA Clippers (3 years, 40M)
Tobias Harris – Philadelphia 76ers (5 years, $180M)
Khris Middleton – Milwaukee Bucks (5 years, $178M)

More at https://basketballforever.com/2019/07/01/every-free-agent-signing-so-far-and-accompanying-knee-jerk-reactions-part-i-2019

Liliard contract is expensive so are Murray, Harris, and Middleton. Klay finally getting all the money he deserves.

Is it true? Kevin Durant will leave GSW for the Brooklyn Nets? Its sad to say that after the tragedy in GSW, he left his teammates easily. I don`t think GSW will become champion this year. Maybe, the moment might seize by lakers or raptors. Now, I understand already what they are saying, there is no permanent in this world except change. We have to bet more with other teams since I think GSW will no longer be the super team in NBA.

Not the same calibre of player, I wonder how would Russell fit to the Warriors, I don't think he will become a starter.
Durant is a complete player and very consistent, so Nets will surely keep him even if he cannot play for the next season, I'm looking for some interesting news on the Warriors camp.

I am not so sure on why they decided to choose him but I think the decision was quick and GSW might forsee Russell a very good asset to their team since KD already did signed a contract to Nets.

If I am not mistaken Russell is a star point guard player from Nets and a very promising kid, trading KD to this KID for me is just a good decision

Russell have some pretty stats - https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/r/russeda01.html
That was playing with the Nets and that was an improvement as he does not have a good stats in the Lakers, but that good stats was achieved by him since he is playing with heavy minutes and in fact because of his improvement with nets, he was able to be part of the NBA all star.

With the Warriors, I'm expecting that his talents will be develop, hopefully a good decision by the Warriors.

One official announcement for today is that Iguodala found a new home, Memphis Grizzlies. Have read that announcement on the facebook page named 'Dubnation'. And another surprising announcement is that they've welcomed D'Angelo Russell as their new player.

Durant's trade already been done as he signed for the NETS making it very interesting combining with Kyrie and Jordan, with him and kyrie on the floor the team will again be a competitive team like before when Kenyon Martin, richard Jefferson and Jason Kidd  still palying and able to reached the finals, interesting move fromt the management making this team more competitive having this new players from the lineups.

I thought the two will sign with New York Knicks, anyways, it will be very interesting to see them teaming up in Brooklyn. Yeah, it could be a resurgent of the early 2000's with Jason Kidd at the helm with the nets. I think they went to the finals and actually upset Lakers in game 1. Unfortunately that is the only game they won as they swept by the Lakers that year (If my memory serves me right).

GSW dynasty is done I think, with Iggy moving out, he is one of the cornerstone of the dynasty they build. So it's time for Lebron and AD to shine in the West now.

This is needed to free up some cap space for Russell.
Lakers is silent with all of the messy trades that are happening. Anyone noticed that?

Looks like they are really aiming for Kawhi or a group of defensive players. That is all I got.

Iguodala trade was sad but we have to get over it.
Al Horford to Sixers is quite some trade. I didnt thought they will still get a big man although it might be a good strategy. Looks like they are going for big plays.

Durant at Nets. Whew. Good thing is some team still gave him some huge contract despite missing a year of game.

The lakers netting anthony davis can be a big boost in drawing other high profile players in search of a championship. I doubt if kawhi will leave toronto though. I don't see any reason why Cheesy it can only get better from here for them. And KD has already gotten what he came for when he went to goldenstate, which is to win a championship. His options were wide open after he became a free agent.

Yeah right KD’s dream is only to have a championship title when he decide to go for GS and now that he’d got what he wanted maybe he consider exploring the whole NBA for more opportunities and not only to gather crowns but also to team up with other greatest NBA players atleast before he retires and gone for rest

Having some Most Valuable Player modals ,I guess that’s enough for him to hold those title for good and not just being in champion team but also to the losing one

People always talk about how desirable it is to play for the Knicks yet none of the big free agents go there.  First is was Lebron back in 2010 and now Durant.  The last real superstar they got in free agent was Carmelon and he is a 2nd tier star that doesn't play defense.

NBA free agency is full of surprises.

Jimmy Butler to the Miami Heat (with Wade possibly coming out of retirement with Jimmy's addition)
D'Angelo Russell to the Warriors
Andre Iguodala to the Grizzlies
Julius Randle to the Knicks
Al Horford to the Sixers
JJ Redick to the Pelicians
Derrick Rose to the Pistons
Kemba Walker to the Celtics
Terry Rozier to the Hornets
DeAndre Jordan and Kyrie Irving to the Nets

I don't know why Iguodala joined the Grizzles. He could be transferred to a better team and challenge a title.
Nets would be very strong with DeAndre Jordan and Irving on their line up. It would be interesting to see if they are going to make other transfers for the next season after buying two key players already.

No they are not rumors, the deadline was Sunday and we can now officially have these news. Irving is going to Boston and its a done deal, Kemba is going to Celtics, plus KD is going to nets as well (even though he won't play) so in order to make it happen nets signed russel to a new contract and sent him to warriors to make it even with KD. Long story short Irving and KD both will be Nets next season and its not a rumor but an official announcement.

You can check reddit and you can see who went where there, there has been a billion weird thing going on and you can see all of them there listed, today was the official announcement date so everyone waited until today and as soon as the deadline passed all of it was publicly announced, all these deals were actually done a time ago but they weren't official just yet.

Can we at least consider that KD's first year in Brooklyn isn't his official year? We don't even know when in the middle of the season he will be back or if he will even play in the 2019-2020 NBA season, with him re-injuring his foot I don't think it's his best decision to rush everything yet especially that we cannot even call the Net's roster a contender even if they have Irving on board with the team.

Liliard contract is expensive so are Murray, Harris, and Middleton. Klay finally getting all the money he deserves.
Liliard had one great season and he now is getting that much. Harris and Middleton are not even regular starters and also getting a lot. A lot of these overpaid guys will turn into divas soon.

Iguodala was traded by the Warriors. I read that lakers are also planning to get him from Grizzlies through a buy out.
Nets also have Durant. That team is already stacked and could be the favorite to win the Eastern conference.

Maybe we aren't just used to the new salary cap increase that has happened with the NBA. It has begun ever since NBA had struck that media coverage money way back 2015 that has made salary cap increases inevitable that is why we have seen players at that time have some crazy deals like Mike Conley receiving a 5 year/152 million contract with the Memphis. It may seem crazy back then but we will begin to see that max contracts are far more crazier than what we are seeing now.
