If the talk between Leonard and the Lakers management progress and make Leonard be part of the team, does he have the guts to take the spot from James? With him be part of Los Angeles Lakers then they will be a heavy contender to the championship next season with LeBron and Davis.

That would not be problem for Leonard as he played with the spurs before and he did not start as a main man.
He played unselfishly and James have also develop that throughout his career, but then again, that still remains to be seen if the chemistry will work.

He will be point. I am sure of that. This is also the reason behind why they are not aiming for any pointguard. It will be a ball hog for Lebron.

I have zero percentage in my imaginary NBA roster that Kawhi will approve for the Lakers.
Yes he will think that it will be his hometown but yet he will need to be not that 1 and only superstar or saviour of the team.
Unlike in Toronto or maybe the Clippers which is also in LA. I bet he will just pick on thay two.

I do not think there will be any trades between Memphis and Lakers at all. Memphis will buy out Iggy's contract and Iggy will let go of most of his income so they will come to a mutual agreement of Iggy not getting paid much from Memphis and then Lakers will pay the difference and get Iggy.

They are just waiting on Kawhi for far too long, Kawhi didn't give any notification to any team on who they will sign and there is still a ton of time left since he is meeting with clippers and then they are going to meet with raptors as well and then give their answer, which all goes to show you how Kawhi could still pick someone else than Lakers and Lakers would be stuck with Lebron plus ad and 10 other bad guys. So getting Iggy is very important for them, if they get Iggy and I know he is more of a bench guy and getting older that would be at least one known and trustable person for them, they need him more than Iggy needs Lakers.

The new season of NBA challange because they have new team and player matches, like if the decision of kawhi leonard  is final to join in the lakers,  lakers will become power team for this season, but I really afraid for the future of GSW because of the most important player Kevin Durant transfer window nto the brooklyn nets let's wait for this new exciting games  opening of NBA.

Slow day today after a series of surprising trades. It looks like everyone is just waiting for Kahwi's version of "The Decision". Go to the Lakers (which is likely to happen) or re-sign with the Raptors.

Personally, I want the talent to be spread and let them battle it out. I would have preferred for him to sign with the Clippers but that's been ruled out now. With regards to taking the spot from James, he is a class of his own and he's not some hero ball player.

In this era of positionless basketball, I do not think position is going to be a problem with them. If ever Kawhi signs up with Lakers, the only challenge will be for the couches to design the right play to make the most out of these three superstars. Anyway, I do not like this scenario because with these three together, the Lakers would be too dominant that NBA will be too predictable.

Without Kevin Durant, GSW still has the same core -- Curry, Thompson, Green. And now they have DLO Russell and Looney. Even without KD, they are still a superteam and very strong contender for next season.

Kawhi is still undecided. Damn, he better stay at Toronto or chooses other teams lol. Need more competitive teams and not an unpredictable one. Starting last season, we are now slowly getting out to the era where Warriors and Cavaliers are always the favorites to meet at the finals.

It seems that the east is getting more and more interesting this off season. Unless kawhi signs up with the lakers and joins bron and ad. KD has left the Warriors and so is Iggy, but their core team remains, Steph, Klay and Green. But with how the team is building up for next year, I doubt that they will be favourites, specially with Lebron and AD teaming up now. Although they acquired Russell, it will be a period of adjustments for them. But I think they can make the playoffs again but it will be a tough road ahead.

Well that same thing why Lebron always leaving his team,he wanted to be always the main star and of someone’s trigger him?that would be a big problem.

It is indeed a lot of money. At the end of the day, NBA is all about business and I believe that Leonard will do everything to maximize his earnings as he is on his peak right now. The team with the highest offer and would benefit Leonard can sign him the contract.

i don't know what is D'Angelo Russel role in this Warrior team. PG? there's Curry. SG? Klay is onfire. so i think Russel will have a new role here.

It was Curry, Thompson, and Green who started the success of the Warriors, so as long as they play together, this test would not be hard for coach Kerr.

This is the old Big 3 of the Warriors when KD is not on the Warriors at that time so I think it will continue. With the addition of Russell, their offensive power is still the same and with Cauley Stein, their defensive is better right now. He played as a starting center on the Kings but I think he will be a bench now as they have Looney as starting center
