Zach was doing all good but his teammates also need to do their job well and they need to fully support him when he is on fire.
~ Zach LaVine was the most scorer of the game (33 points) but it wasn't enough for Bulls to win.
This just shows that Heat has more depth into their roster compared to the Bulls.

Bulls were missing Demar in this game but the Heat were also without their two main players (Jimmy and Bam). Lowry and Herro also had okay numbers but they still dominated. Looks like this team will go deep into the playoffs again.

Dedmon was a big factor as well, he really out muscled Vucevic and scored a big 20 points and I think that is enough for the Heat to really pull this win.

Only 4 players scores double digit for the Bulls, so I doubt that they will be able to win that game.

Ball have 15, Vucevic 10 points, Brown 10 - that's a poor support to Zach Lavine.

No doubt! I wanted to put that earlier but I don't know much about the guy. This is really good for the Heat team and the coach that these lesser known players are stepping up when they were given the chance. Last time it was Caleb Martin dropping 28 points and 8 rebounds against the Bucks.

And you can see Bam's reaction at the game, he was really proud of Dedmon's performance against the Heat. The Bulls are really missing the services of DeRozan, and it's obvious that without him Zach can't carry the team with himself alone, Ball and Caruso should step up but Alex didn't even scored double digit. But the guy is more of a defensive player when he moved to the Bulls so I guess we shouldn't expect from him more points.

Chicago Bulls should also find a way to use their bench players and gain chemistry with their star players.
It's not just DeRozan that is out but also Jones Jr. who had been in the injury line due to Covid. They should expect this to happen most of the time and create adjustments to gain wins like a short-handed Miami Heat.
Memphis Grizzlies is an example of a winning team like they are not affected badly with Ja Morant's absence.

The current Lakers situation is really worrying me and I would never have imagined that the current Lakers squad could only make 14-13 in this season

I honestly don't understand, this season's team is so superior to previous seasons, but I believe the team is lacking chemistry, I don't know, but for sure there's something wrong with Lakers.

Well, if AD didn't work as 5 (center), go back to 4 (PF) and put Howard or DeAndre Jordan at the position 5.

I also believe that it is easier and more advantageous to trade Vogel than AD. But from what I've researched, the Lakers are unlikely to make any significant changes during the season.

They will lose a huge piece if they think about trading AD so I think much better option to change the coach since two season pass but they didn't click well as they already have superior talents in their team. Maybe they let AD play on PF side since they already have Howard who can cover up the center spot for them also Deandre Jordan will be also a good option to replace Howard if he need to rest.

They need to change their play if they want to make it on finals and it will be worse if they will struggle to reach up to the playoffs this season.
Yes, I believe that in this case it is very advantageous, AD could be missed a lot if it was goes to another team, and also an interesting point is that, most of the time, an allstar player (such as AD for example) would make a significant foul for the team. . Unless the Lakers were able to bring in a top-notch and renowned coach (eg Mike Krzyzewski, Spoelstra, Phil Jackson, D'Antoni or Popovich), yes, I know that's impossible to happen, but I believe if this will happen, we can see a big change to the Lakers, for sure those coaches I mentioned would fill this possible "flaw" in the team.

Of course, depending on the negotiation between players, hardly any player would be able to take the place of AD in the Lakers.

Bulls would be wasting their good start if they can't win without DeRozan. When they get dominated by the Heat, I see that they will have a problem in case one of their stars gets injured, so I think their bench players are very important to improve so they can still compete well even the absence of some starter.

Two losing streak for the Bulls, expect a bounce back soon as they can't afford to keep losing. DeRozan will likely return on December 16 as per update -- https://www.cbssports.com/nba/players/1685250/demar-derozan/* so he would be back soon and I hope Bulls will still stay at the top 4 in the East, currently at number 3 now.

He would return but he probably has not practiced a lot since he was held out due to covid-19 related issue. Bull next game is against Detroit, I think even without DeRozan they could still win as long as Lavine would be able to hit his shots, and I'm pretty sure they'll player harder as they are in a 2 losing streak already.

They should have someone to really fill the vacuum that DeRozan left, I mean it would take Lavine to score 40+ points to win the game against any team. Ball and Caruso should step up, specially Ball, he needs to score at least 20+ points to help Zach otherwise they will have their 3rd consecutive lost even against a not so good team such as Detroit. And this is where the depth of the team are tested, teams like Clippers have done a better adjustment without Kawhi for a very long time now.

Good point, Bulls need to help in lessening that load to Lavine, Ball should step up and bring more offense,
he can let Caruso to passed the ball,

They needed each other while DeRozan was not there. Filling that space and adjust will give them chances in winning games to come,
You are right, Clippers is doing the right balance while Kawhai is still not playing, they are surviving and making wins even with
good teams.

Normally I would say that Derozan is not the reason why they are this great. Obvious from the results of last night that I might be wrong, yes they are looking like a great team right now but Derozan should not be the reason why they are this great, they need to be great without him as well.

Last time Derozan took a team to conference finals or closer, they got eliminated and got swept, dude is not a great playoff player. Bulls could be looking good so far, but I feel like they won't be as great when it is time for the playoffs and they will be eliminated very quickly, either first round or second at best. Let's see how they will do without him in order to make a better decision.

That's not a problem for most of the fans for sure, one step at a time, at least we will see the Bulls going back to the playoffs again and that's already a great improvement, and you can't make a conclusion that DeRozan would not be able to carry this team to the NBA Finals as he is playing with a different teammates, we don't know what's going to happen, so instead I'd enjoy watching them and don't expect a lot.

The Knicks lost to the Bucks by 15 points, and it was the third defeat in a row for them. As a result, the Knicks have already dropped to the 12th spot in the Eastern Conference standings. So they definitely need to change something in their game as soon as possible. Otherwise, they won't even be able to reach the play-in tournament.

Are you talking about his days as a Raptor? I don't like some of his shot selections during crunch time but let's be fair to him. It's never that easy when you have D. Wade or Lebron James who are HOF waiting for him.

That will be unfortunate since they are one of the teams that makes the East more exciting to watch.

I agree that Bulls have to find a quick adjustment when he's not available.

...Last time Derozan took a team to conference finals or closer, they got eliminated and got swept, dude is not a great playoff player.
Are you talking about his days as a Raptor? I don't like some of his shot selections during crunch time but let's be fair to him. It's never that easy when you have D. Wade or Lebron James who are HOF waiting for him.

You definitely can't blame Derozan for those losses to LeBron in the playoffs.  I think he caught a bad rap just because Kahwi came in and took them to the promise land.  I think given the lack of competition due to injuries, it's somewhat likely that the Raptors would have won without the trade.  Not to say that Kahwi isn't a better player...  The Derozan we're seeing this year seems different anyway.  He seems like he's in a good place with the right fit.  Once the Bulls get beyond this latest covid setback I'm sure they'll be back to being a force to be reckoned with well into the playoffs.

This was really one of the talk of the town when they won the league without him.

....

Lakers on the news again hehe https://fadeawayworld.net/nba-media/los-angeles-lakers-have-the-slowest-average-running-speed-and-highest-percentage-of-time-walking

Quote
- Average running speed - 4.25 MPH - slowest in NBA

- Percentage of time walking - 68% - highest in NBA

- Miles per game - 9.3 - 2nd fewest

It's not like we didn't see this coming since they traded a lot of their young guys in exchange for veterans but I still expected them to be more explosive. A 68% walking on the court? That is probably what you normally see during exhibition games in your local area but not in the NBA.

But it doesn't mean they are lazy. It could be because of the plays. Most of them are post-up styles with Lebron watching the play circulate until he gets that opportunity for an assist. Then, their other plays are isolation types of play. When Melo holds the ball, he will shoot it no matter how long it takes and while that is happening every player of the Lakers is just waiting, no movement at all.
The same goes for Westbrook, isolation, or one play with a center rolling underneath the rim. That may explain the bad stats on movements. Fast transition plays don't happen much anymore.

The Lakers and Blazers are struggling on the teams that are not even championship contenders, looks like they were dragged too low with their current playing condition this season and let others get their spot in the playoffs. They should have easily managed to stretch their lead but they're the one's are struggling right now and if the Lakers will lose this one too, that would hit them hard because the fans will toss them again just like when they lost the game vs the Memphis.

I agree, specially with Portland, although they have been hit by multiple injuries first with Dame and now with CJ and there has been rumours as well of a CJ-Ben Simmons trade. So they are struggling at home with a tough Wolves but I think they can still pull this one off, score is tied 104-104. They lead as much as 5 points but that eaten out by the Wolves in the last 2 minutes. So let's see how the game will turn out to be in the last 3 minutes.
