He is still there and may need to just step up his game a little bit when he comes back from his ankle injury. Average of triple-double with his points at 20-30 per game. The warriors are playing a good season, thanks to Curry's MVP performance in every game. No doubt he will win the MVP this season because not only his stats has improved but the impact of his stats on the team is very evident, making them the number 1 team now. Although it's too early I already predicted he will win as long as he is healthy because he is very consistent, dropping 30 points ore more from him looks effortless.

Curry is +250 now, I guess it's still a good odds to take as Curry is doing effortless basketball this season and the only way he would lose in the race is if he will get injured which as a fan we don't hope will happen.

I can't remember anymore the opening odds for MVP but I'm sure Curry is not even in the top 3.

I thought that they dominate again the 3rd quarter like they are always doing but it seems that they didn't did it but they did it in the final quarter.

Those 3 threes by Curry at the start of the quarter is the reason why they gained the momentum all thorough out the whole quarter and they just let the Cavaliers score 8 points. I mean only 8 points?? After battling toe to toe with the top team from 1st to 3rd, they will lose their gas coming to 4th and score 8 points. It might be too early but it seems that Curry is on the road to get another conference MVP award with how he is playing right now. He is the top leading scorer per game with 29.5, a 1.1 point difference between him and Durant which is second. What do you think? Will he get another MVP award this season?

Reaching to his skyf*ker level is not brand new for him but he is getting older and people expected him to be not as great as his MVP season. He is looking like he is once again close to getting that MVP and if Warriors success goes like this for a long time then I am pretty sure that he would actually win it.

Right, it the beginning, or prior to the season, it was Luka who are the favourite to win the MVP awards.

But Curry having another 2 good straight seasons, last year he won the scoring honours, and now it seems that he is again on the way. He already did break Ray Allen's record this early and maybe putting numbers that will be hard to touch in the coming years.

If Steph and the Warriors will maintain this kind of level of playing, then maybe we can see Steph running with MVP this year (although still too early to say). But with the way he is playing, that's already MVP caliber numbers.

Yeah I agree. I'm a Mavs fan and even I've got to admit that Doncic is nowhere near Steph this season.

Curry is absolutely cooking and putting up ridiculous numbers on a nightly basis in shooting displays that we haven't seen before. And he's making everyone around him a whole lot better, including Andrew Wiggins, Jordan Poole, etc. who are playing like veterans out there.

It's going to be scary, man.

Klay is a great player and a central piece to the Warriors identity, but the best thing about him is that he doesn't need the ball in his hands to make an immediate impact.

He brings a lot more championship potential given the reunion of Steph, Klay and Draymond from their earlier championship run.

The people helping Steph win games right now don't necessarily have that, despite their great record so far.

I'm seeing that there will be no immediate impact when Klay returns. For sure he will be in restricted minutes in the beginning. Maybe just 10-15 minutes, few touches, 3 points just it.

But as the Warriors goes along, he may be inserted in the line up often to began his journey of a comeback as a starting 5. So still the Warriors, with the way they are playing high basketball, are a scary team when Klay comes back scoring at least 20 points a game. They could be the top 1-2, currently, it's Lavine and DeRozan.

That's something to get done by the coaching staff but I guess it will be doing just fine since as far as I can see the gameplay they got right now aren't different from the season when the team was playing at their best. I think he'll have to create a chemistry but as I just said I guess he'll doing just fine, they still at that offense as the best defense.

All this and Dwight Howard had as many rebounds as anyone with only 1/4 of the minutes played… This is painful to watch. I think Vogel’s days are numbered. He might not be coaching the Lakers in the playoffs if he can’t figure out how to take this roster to a better than 500 record.

If his consistency stays and avoided an injury or a health protocol then he will overtake most of the players at the top 5.

Yes, it is expected that Jordan Poople and Wiggins will carry the load for the Warriors in absence of Curry. This is just a glimpse on how dangerous they really are, still play high level defense even without Draymond and then shot their 3's without Curry.

But it was very close game, Detroit really trying to get a win. But as the announcer said in the beginning, this team is used to winning and that's what they did here, a hard grind win.

Exactly, they refused to sign Schroder with the amount he demanded  and look at Westbrook now, he isn't the superstar the Lakers are expecting, there's no chemistry and they are even better before the trade.

Chemistry in defense. That's what they lack.
I think the dispute of Anthony Davis and Dwight Howard weeks ago was because of the defense. They are not communicating who will defend who and thats why they are leaving the paint open.
It can still be fixed because all of them have the defensive skills but without communication I don't think they will ever win another game even against Houston or OKC.
Maybe Schroder is really glad he is not on the same team who are on the media and critics spotlight this season.
