Lakers is still my favorite team but let's be honest and admit that this they will barely make the play-offs. However, I still want to believe that they will come with A+ game in play-offs and wash away a bit of the bad impression that they are doing so far.  For me this year, NBA entered in the new era of players with a lot of rookies showing great skills and characters in both the play court and outside of it.

Not even a hater as well and I agree. This is worst than the 2012-2013 Lakers. The Lakers is currently have the best line-up in papers so far, yet they played like a bunch of mediocre players. Inconsistencies and lack of defensive efforts. I guess they're just gathering these veterans and former superstars to get traded by young guns like Ben Simmons or Jerami Grant.
AD just become lazy and as usual very fragile.

They aren't tired of experimenting but until now they were still not able to figure out how to win consistently. It's the most important thing for the Lakers to improve their ranking and will earn the home court advantage, and it looks like it's not gonna happen.

The Knicks bringing home the first W of the day against the Hawks.  Next up the Bucks and Celtics.  The real magic starts to heat up after that though once the Warriors match up against the Suns.  I'm expecting a high scoring game with a lot of shooting...  Then finally the game I've waited all season to see, the Lakers vs the Nets.  I think the Nets will probably win, but you never know.  LeBron should easily pass Kobe to be the all time Christmas Day scoring leader.  Then things finish off with Jazz of Mavericks.  Not sure I'll be able to make it through this one, but a great day of basketball nonetheless.

The roster is stacked with great talent but fails to deliver, inconsistency is a major factor, Russ provides an inconsistent performance game after game, LeBron and AD are injury-prone, LeBron is the key player here, but because he's 36, he can't carry his teammates like he used to before way back in Cleveland.

Chemistry and consistency are factors that they must have, if not, they'll continue to fall, especially in the 4th quarter. LeBron does make a great performance every game, but they're facing young teams with great talent this season, and the fact that they're losing to mediocre teams is a sign that the roster must be changed.

New York Knicks- Atlanta Hawks game was quite interesting, because so many players were missing due to covid and other injuries. 8 players were out for Hawks, including Trae Young. And Hawks only had one regular starter in their lineup. It is not surprising that they could only score 87 points. We could almost check the covid lists from the teams and see which players are out, and bet according to that. Things are getting that bad I'm afraid.

It is halftime in the Milwaukee Bucks vs Boston Celtics game now. Celtics ended the half 62-47 ahead. Giannis is finally able to play for Bucks after a break of five games. However, he is not performing as usual because of its being his first game after being absent I guess. Celtics want to make use of their vulnerability now. But I'm waiting for seeing a resistance by Bucks in the second half as much as possible. But at the end, Celtics would be the winner I guess.

Well, you're just being honest and they are just showing what they're capable and not as a team that has way too much of an expectations. Still got a long way to go for the WCF and I think there's still some huge chance that these team you're predicting may not reach it but I don't doubt if they could, they are the best by now in the West.

Just like last season, they had an early exit because AD was suddenly injured and their chances suddenly turn bad. AD is currently recovering from injury, as long as there's no surgery going to happen, AD will come back soon, maybe they should take care of their best big man as they cannot afford to miss him during the playoffs.

I still believe that the Lakers has a great chance to be in the playoffs, even if they will end up in the last of the standing to quality, but without AD, anything is possible.

I'm watching the game between the Bucks and Boston. So far it was a great game, Boston taking a huge lead but Bucks is coming back and closing the gap. It's Bucks homecourt and Giannis is back so I'm expecting that the game will be very close this fourth quarter. Boston leading by just 4 points, 94-90 entering fourth quarter.

Right, Boston is really stubborn on this game, Bucks was able to bring it to 1 point deficit. But the Boston are not wilting on the pressure on Fiserv. Tatum, Brown and Smart are bringing it out in this game. Giannis leading all the scorer so for sure this will be another back and forth last quarter and the team that melt in the last 2 minutes will surely lost. Score now, 90-101, Boston scored 7 quick points, 10 minutes left.

I think we should look at how Thompson will develop entering the playoffs. For sure it will take some time for him to bounce back. But if he goes healthy in this season, then the Warriors will be a problem to any team in the NBA. So give him some time to contribute and if he comes back like Durant then we can see an old Klay, hitting spot up three's again.

I agree, the technology now is more advance so a player could play after a long layoff as nothing happens, besides, Thompson makes sure that when he comes back he will be 100% like before, so we should expect he will not disappoint us. Maybe the only concern is the chemistry, but it's not a big issue as knowing the Warriors they are a great team when it comes to chemistry, no problem so far.

Tech to repair a person back to himself is there, psychologically I am sure he could get some help to go back to believing himself as well. However, one thing is for certain that his body is not as intact as it used to be and at a very risky position. Not that he will get it back, but he "may" get it back if he pushes himself too hard and that means he needs to take care of his body a bit more than he used to and that will show itself a lot on defense I believe.

Shooting is not a problem and I am sure that he will shoot as well as he used to and there won't be a problem, but lateral movement is a key factor in defending and he will not have that lateral speed that he used to have. Whenever Steph was faced with a good PG, they switched to Klay for defensive measure and they may not be able to do that anymore or even if they do it may not give the same result. They are still good, so I doubt it would be a problem but it won't be like it used to for sure.

By the way, Kemba Walker scored 10 points and made 12 assists, 10 rebounds in this game, although it's worth noting that his field goal percentage was terrible. Nevertheless, he became the first player in Knicks' history who recorded a triple-double on Christmas Day. Besides, it was his first triple-double since the 2014 season.

I know most viewers is looking forward to the clash of Suns and Warriors but the return of  Greek freak is also something to note. He is already cleared from the health's safety protocols. Do you think he'll play against the Celtics later? What's your betting strategy here? Moneyline or spread or maybe livebetting?

Also, take note of Marcus Smart being questionable for that game later. So, this could be all Bucks especially with Giannis back. The Celtics defense will be a bit open in the paint without Smart around.
I already took the bet for this game last night and the line was -5.5 only for the Bucks @2.05 to win. Now it changed drastically at -7.5 for 2.07.
So I guess the recent news about Giannis being back affected it and so does the injury report of Smart. But that -7.5 could still be covered with so much offensive power from the Bucks.

Bucks started slow but they were able to turn it around in the second half. They could only managed a four point gap unfortunately. Bucks 117 - Celtics 113.

We probably could have gone into OT, had Robert Williams not missed that open dunk, although Bucks would still a point advantage. I really think the Bucks performance tonight is still great one, they've not all their starters healthy together for a while now, and the chemistry might still take a bit more time, however being able to keep their composure to get this win should still count for a lot.

In the end, it's Milwaukee Bucks who got the last laugh and won in that game.

Maybe there are errors on the way but still, they managed to get a win. We just conclude everything when the final buzzer isn't ringing yet. Giannis has an unstoppable performance with 36 points.

I like how their Coach rotates his players. All active players played at least 16-17 minutes of playing time. No one becomes a bench warmer.
