He is still on the injured list so they are terribly missing his services right now as others that is expected to help Lebron is not stepping up or very inconsistent.

Only Lebron is doing very hard for the team, but we all know that he can't do it by himself. Malik Monk only scored 7 points , THT 5 points. And those two should be like at least 15 each in this game to help Lebron.

I thought Davis will be able to come back in this game, but he didn't make it, maybe next game he will be coming back as the Lakers badly need him for them to start winning consistently. As we all expect, Lakers can't beat a good team or a playoff team and they fall to the Heat this time.

The Lakers will win consistently If AD will be consistent in his return as well. Remember how bad AD was playing before he got injured. The guy seems contented with just 1 ring and stopped being competitive. I hope that's not gonna be the case once he return, because this Laker team has really became hopeless, and only AD's return is the most anticipated thing for the Lakers to possibly put a turn around with their current situation.

Maybe not good as he was in the past season, but his contribution is very vital for the team's success. They are called a big 3, all the Lakers need to do now is to secure a playoff spot, and they'll eventually become a dangerous team in the playoffs. AD and Lebron have won a championship before, with Westbrook added in the lineup, that's more firepower to the team.

The game of Warriors vs Jazz showed the potential of Jordan Poole as a future all-star and franchise player of this team. His confidence, skill, and ways of creating shop opportunities are so much alike of those superstars. He is definitely a threat to be reckoned with and his skill continuously improves game by game. Ingles showed an amazing performance earlier but he missed the game winning shot which went in-and-out of the basket, and the failed tipped-in that could have sealed the game.

That's what Jordan Poole bring to the team, I even saw some YouTube clips even before the start of the season and talking about how Poole is improving and it's going to be shown this year. Although in the last couple of games he wasn't that contributing well, but we all know that it's just a matter of time that he will be back in the groove.

Curry strength is to move without the ball that's why its hard to guard him. The moment you take away your eyes on him, he might be on the other side being set up for a pick to shoot threes. Or he himself can pass or even set up a pick for others. So he is a threat even without the ball.

The west is definitely showing its weakness for the first time in a long time.  The way the Lakers have been playing they would have been buried in the West in years past.  Think the east is now the power conference save for the top end of the west (Suns, gs, and jazz).  Wouldn't mind seeing a rematch of the Bucks and Suns.

We can't expect too much from Lakers for the Nets game but if they are claiming to be a championship team, for the 76ers and Hornets games they should show some strength. Against the Nets, I am not so sure they can beat a strong Nets team. Especially without Anthony Davis. It seems like he was one of the key players, if not the most important player including the old Lebron we see now. If he returns healthy and if he will be his full capacity, things can change for the good. Every Lakers fan and everyone who will bet on Lakers these days must look at if AD has come back or if he is, how good he is.

We can't expect too much from Lakers for the Nets game but if they are claiming to be a championship team, for the 76ers and Hornets games they should show some strength. Against Nets, Irving won't play because they in a home court. Still, Lakers will be against a tough team as Harden and Durant might play both.

But their efforts doesn't make them to win games, and as usual, LeBron is still the biggest contribution and you're right mate, he's figures this season is much more higher just to carry the team. Like you said, the Lakers are struggling already when he isn't injured and they will still because the problem isn't Anthony Davis being injured and doesn't play but the chemistry of the team as a whole. Lakers need to change the whole system and the whole roster and maybe their GM who made this team of old players.

On the other hand though, I've watched a video just a few minutes ago telling that Davis is different from how he was before getting injured because he improved his shooting ability especially his three point shots. Well, this might be a good news but lets wait until the Lakers-Nets game where he will come back. I don't want to expect too much from AD in his comeback and I will just hope that he will be healthy all throughout the season when he comes back.

It was an entertaining match I have to say. Even though the Lakers played really well in the last quarter, but it was not enough for them to get the win.
Heat got the early lead in the first quarter as they were 39-25. Butler is back and he scored 20 points with 12 assists and 10 rebounds. Duncan Robinson gave him good support by scoring 25 points. Lebron is as always the goat for the Lakers, he scored 33 points, and to my surprise, WB also played a good game but you know, it wasn't enough to beat the Heat.

When you have Westbrook and LeBron having great games and it's still not enough to overcome an opponent, you know that something is wrong with the supporting cast.
Please don't blame Vogel, Lebron, or Westbrook for this. It's essentially a disaster in the making given that they are such a badly constructed team.
The lack of continuity between seasons is certainly a contributing factor towards their demise as well.

There has someone to be blamed, when the team is not working well then most likely the problem is the coach because he has the authority to make a command for the success of the team. LA Lakers is a team, although they have Lebron and Westbrook, they need to work as a team in order for them to become a championship team.

In the past few matches WB was off-form and that impacted them hugely as they lost a couple of matches in recent times. Lebron has always been consistent. If Davis can return asap, they can be one of the best teams in the league.

Your point is valid, playing as a team is very important but I think WB has to be blamed other than anyone else. When he plays bad, the whole team plays bad and there's a reason for it. He's the PG and he has the duty of build-up play and assisting. So he should play more consistently.
