^^ Yeah, the Cavs was a big surprised in the East together with the Bulls (which is leading the Pacers right now).
Cavs 7-3 on their last 10, that is impressive already. That's a huge 45 point win, with 6 players scoring 16 points or more, and everyone scored 3 points, including Tacko Fall.
And if the gossip is true about the Ben Simmons trade for a lot of Cavs players being exchanged for him, they should just ignore it. They are a good team now and the chemistry is strong. It might ruin their high chance for the semis or even for a championship if they will insert someone who is out of sync to tbe rest of the team. I say, just keep this roster and strengthen their skills especially their young ones. Risking something that high might jeopardize their good season. I agree, they already performing and no need to change the current roster. If they continue solidifying this lineup and all the players will play harder, this surprise will send them to the next round. I can say that Cavs are good team competing in the eastside, lets see how they will keep improving their stats..

So Cavs scoring 144 over the Rapotrs and then Spur pouring 144 also on Pistons. I thought I would not see scorelines like this on the same day/night but hey, it happens Anyway, I hope these two teams carry on with their momentum to keep the league more exciting. It gets boring when you see the same team winning.

Philadelphia and Miami had easy wins. So many players were missing in Orlando, even Miami didn't have his big man Bam Adebayo but they managed to get an easy game. Omer Yurtseven had a very nice game and even when I watched the game, it could be seen that he had a surprise impact. But the Heat has a tough competition for the top 3 in the eastern conference. Nets, Bulls and Bucks have slightly better teams for getting the conference championship.

Their play is simply subpar for any serious contender.
As everyone looked Lakers as a bad team against the Brooklyn Nets, let's also not forget how they outscored the Nets in the 4th quarter. They did great actions to lessen the opponent's lead and if I'm not mistaken, they have brought it down to only 3 coming from a big lead that Nets were able to maintain throughout the game. When we say Nets, it's hard to bounce back when they are in a big-digit lead. Unfortunately, it was only Lebron who showed competitiveness and can handle the pressure on that kind of close game situation. If only most of his teammates are having the same actions, Lebron will have good support. Exactly! But I'm quite confused that if Lakers could outrun the Nets on the 4th quarter why didn't they did that in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Their 4th quarter score is just the opposite of how tue Nets buried the Lakers on the 3rd quarter. LeBron isn't the problem here because he's been regularly seen to put some large scores on any team he gets. The problem is, this team is consisted by star players but why we aren't seeing any diffrence at all? They have Carmelo and Westbrooke too, they really do need to work things out if they're really that hungry to be in the finals.

That was so easy, and Embiid once again led the team with 36 points in a dominant performance individually and as a team. I don't understand what happened to the Wizards, they had a very good start and now they are losing some games, from being a top 3 team, now ranked number 7 in the East.

What's more important and considered as a good game is when a team gets the W. It's almost the mid-season and the Lakers are becoming even worse. I don't know how many more players they'll give up, trade, and add a 10-day contract for them to fix their system and actually start becoming a good team, coz right now I don't think they're a good team. If only they can play a little bit more on defense and be efficient, maybe they'll start winning games.

Lakers is a defensive team, they are good at it, unfortunately their offense is not clicking very well as there's no consistency from LBJ's teammates, especially Westbrook. I think this season is not really for the Lakers and soon enough, we might see Westbrook being traded to other team. Don't expect too much on the Lakers, they are done now.

As long as Embiid is healthy, you can always trust his team to win even against the best teams in the NBA. Things are just so unpredictable right now, but good teams never change because they already build a chemistry and everyone will do their job for one goal. While Wizards ranking are going down, 76ers ranking also are going the opposite way.

They aren't yet done tbh there's still good chance they may improve but as most people's sentiment it's still a doubtful scenario.

That would favor the Lakers if the Blazers will let go of Lillard for Westbrook. Lakers needs a good point guard who knows how to handle the ball unlike Westbrook who is clumsy sometimes and you can see on his average number of turnovers. I think Westbrook would not really be effective if he is not the main man in the team, so Lakers if there's an opportunity, they should let him go.

More sad news coming out after Christmas. https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/nba-covid-tracker-warriors-draymond-green-heats-kyle-lowry-bulls-lonzo-ball-enter-protocols/NBA COVID tracker: Warriors' Draymond Green, Heat's Kyle Lowry, Bulls' Lonzo Ball enter protocols These are players who contribute a big impact on their respective teams. Now, betting lines will be unpredictable again especially when the Warriors meet the Nuggets on Wednesday. Sure they are a good team even without Draymond Green but they are far greater when he is on the floor facilitating the offense and with his high defensive mindset that infects the whole team. Fact! Especially without Ball on the Bulls, this team would really strive more to secure their team as they're at more risk now. As for the Warriors, they will still lead the conference as their team has almost perfect chemistry and the players really know their role and what to do. But yes, even if the Warriors is still a tough team to beat, they're more vulnerable now without Green's presence and power assists and rebounds, because he's really an effective offensive player especially his defensive tactics are highly needed for the teams security.

This will be an unstoppable news for players who are in covid-19 health protocol, but I agree with what the NBA are doing, instead of halting the season, they allow it to conitnue in a normal way. Yes, Green is really a big piece of the pie in terms of the success of the Warriors, without him, I don't know if the Warriors will still become the number 1 team, that's real talk.

Spurs on their way to 8th seed by the looks of it, three wins in a row! That's great to see from them, I expected them to be better by next year but they are showing how they are still good even this year. I know that most people talk about the top teams and how they are good and when I talk about the 10th team in west as good some of you may feel weird. However, as a person who had a chance of 20 years in a row dominant team, having a team that is not dominant at all was a weird feeling of love. I mean we never really had to say "I was a fan during bad days too", even Lakers fans had that but Spurs never had it until a few years ago when Kawhi left. On contrast, Lakers look like they are closer to 10th seed nowadays . I mean not to be happy about it but I would say I rather see Spurs in playoffs than Lakers if that's what we got.

I didn't expect them to be this good this season, in fact, I never think that they'll reach the playoffs and the way they are playing now, i have a feeling that they'll surprise us and the Spurs will be back in the playoffs again. Imagine, if Spurs and Lakers will play for the last spot in the playoffs and Spurs won, this would be the worst season of the Lakers. However, as a person who had a chance of 20 years in a row dominant team, having a team that is not dominant at all was a weird feeling of love. I mean we never really had to say "I was a fan during bad days too", even Lakers fans had that but Spurs never had it until a few years ago when Kawhi left. Two unexpected things happened, Lakers struggling and Spurs are doing good.. but the team that will mark in the history of NBA is the Lakers losing their chance despite forming a super team, it's a failure.

Or maybe we can see coach Pop's experiment have been paying off this season? They also make a lot of moves off season and now it seems a perfect fit for this players. Actually if you look at it, they are all role players to me, no star or franchise player. And it does good to the team as everyone really have to work hard, and the dangerous things is that this dude are just like in their 20's. So imagine if they are going to be fully developed in the next 2-3 years, they could be a contender team.

Those young guns have a big future ahead if they won't suffer to any major injuries, the legendary coach Pop and the system of Spurs are building the potential out from those players, no known super star but the team effort really brings them the win. They are heading back to the next round, if they continue doing the damage it won't be far for them to reach the playoff. We never know yet, but the chance is always possible for every team who really working hard..

Seeing bad news from Warriors players is not unexpected. Moreover, Covid is the reason, the next match against the Nuggets is difficult to predict, especially since both are quite strong and balanced rivals. If on the Warriors side lose their flagship player then their hard work must be greatly increased to fight the Nuggets. Moreover, seeing the track record of their previous match, Nugget has a superior difference over the Warriors.

I have a friend who is just like you. Big fan of the Spurs, knows everything about their history and a fan in good and bad times up until now. There's not a lot of people who does that with all the bandwagons switching from different team because of their new found strength. That's cool of you. The way to the 5th seed is not even far. Clippers with 17 wins only and they will be losing more games because of PG13's injury. Hanging to that spot will not be easy for them. If the Spurs can keep a healthy roster avoiding the health and safety protocol 10 day quarantine then the streak will keep on. They are not a bad team and there's one other time they made a good streak defeating Celtics, Wizards, Trail Blazers, and the Warriors.

Yeah the Spurs tanked one year while they had David Robinson and landed Tim Duncan in the draft. Nailed the parket and Manu picks and it was a good decade or 2 of the Spurs being in every game/series. I'm surprised how decent they are right now but in the end I still don't see them making the playoffs, if they do as a 9/10 seed.

The game between the Suns and the Warriors showed tremendous potential of being the conference finals in the playoffs. Both teams played their very best in such game as it was super entertaining to watch. But to be honest, Booker had an off-night while Curry dominated the field. Props for Otto Porter Jr. for coming in hot in the last quarter as he showed his shooting skills on the field.
Like what the commentators said, the game showed a glimpse in the future in the playoffs as it was tremendously neck and neck throughout the entire quarters.
