Losing this 3 games, Lakers will be on the 9th spot. Hard to advance catching up with the standing.

They still have the chance to win when they put some effort to consider how to fix their games and fix those high rates missing shots which makes them look bad and the last missed dunk attempt was the most hilarious. right now their playoffs spot is in jeopardy if they lose more games than winning these coming days while the other teams keep pushing forward. Nevertheless, they still playing well but struggling in the last quarter makes them prone to always losing.

Bro, they have been exerting efforts already to win games, look at what numbers Lebron is putting up this season, it's close to his career high. The problem is with the rest of the players in Lakers. Westbrook, Anthony, THT and even Monk should do their best every game. Unfortunately, they are struggling to put good numbers to help Lebron. Even at their home court, they are not playing very well.

I don't think you can find me a game where he scored less than 20 points.

Other players like WB and Davis need to step up. WB played well last game and that's why they won. But before that, he was playing below average for a few games and the Lakers struggled a lot. Injury has always been a problem for Davis so the coach needs to play him carefully, rotate him more than other players so he doesn't get injured.

I found Miami Heat -  Lakers game quite interesting because as it was also discussed here, Lakers were not doing so good and especially in some part of the game they were terrible. Their defence was shattered at one point and it seemed like Miami was too much ahead and was on the way to an easy win. But quite unexpectedly Lakers bounced back and gave a hard time to heat in the last minutes of the game.

But the thing about AD is the rebounds and the presence in the paint. I know he is not a huge post up guy but Dwight Howard only got 4 rebounds in 10 minutes. And rest of the Lakers also were not so good except Lebron and RussRuss. They got 11 and 9 rebounds respectively. No one should expect too much from AD's return but he sure is going to be positive for the rebounds.

When he drive and go for a dunk sometimes he is even block. Unlike during his prime wherein no one can go toe to toe with him when he is airborne. Westbrook seemed to forget that it's not his team, he is playing with Lebron and still Lebron is the leader of the team. Westbrook does not need to play his usual like when he was still with OKC as stat padding would never work with the Lakers since there's no big one, but a big 3.

This is a big kick in the nuts as that’s two of the three starters. Hoping they can continue to play decent ball until they are back.

Without the 2, they would not be the same team again unless somebody is willing to step up to fill what's lacking. They have been vital to the team's success, without them, their rotation will probably suffer. Both of them will probably undergo and surgery and it would really consume time for them to fully heal.

I also noticed that, OKC was just a 2 points shy from defeating the Bulls, they nearly lost the game contrary from the fact that they were dominating the OKC from the first half until the 3rd quarter and that's why they made a huge lead with almost 30 points. From the way I see it, the Bulls lowered their guards in the 4th quarter that's why the OKC managed to chase the gap.

DeRozan, LaVine and Vucevic needs to step up for now and lead the team while Caruso and Lonzo Ball won't be available for an estimated 6 to 8 weeks.

The west is definitely showing its weakness for the first time in a long time.  The way the Lakers have been playing they would have been buried in the West in years past.  Think the east is now the power conference save for the top end of the west (Suns, gs, and jazz).  Wouldn't mind seeing a rematch of the Bucks and Suns.

I don't mind too. Both are strong teams and Giannis in his prime is fun to watch while CP3 is looking forward to getting that first championship of his career. It will be a great story and if it will happen, he truly deserves it. He had been working hard for himself and for the team.
Fun fact, that will also be the first championship of the Phoenix Suns so it will be so special that every basketball fan might not forget it.

AD might start playing soon, with him in the lineup, things are expected to improve.

I'm with you mate, I really think so too that Frank Vogel should be replaced by another coach with different approach and tactics because surely the Lakers now is a hot mess. Frankly, Vogel has the full responsibilities and the right to scold every player that isn't making their part and contributes to the team, especially WB for not playing seriously. Also, Howard needs some more minutes with or without AD on the court as it could really help them in their defense.

That was a really close win for the bulls. (111-110). Almost choked there, to be honest. Another thing I wanna talk about is foul on Caruso. Allen actually kicked him in the face.  He got a 1 match ban. Actually, I wouldn't have been surprised if the ban was longer than that though.

There is a really huge game tonight as far as I can see and it is Nets - Lakers obviously.    This is one of the most attracting games of the season. But as Nets aren't the away team here, they can have a really hard time against Lakers. Because Kevin Durant is still injured and Kyrie Irving is playing in their away games only. This means that James Harden will have a big responsibility tonight. I've no doubt that he'd do his best like all the time. And we'll see a great duel between him and Lebron hopefully. I think that Lakers are one step ahead in this game and they can really win by a small margin.

That's been quites discussed here a lot about Vogel's replacement and how Howard still sitting more in the bench rather than putting minutes on the court. We don't know what's the hindrance that Howard isn't giving enough minutes and playing time but if he does I think he may contribute more to the team, the recent stat he makes was nice considering he has given few minutes on the court.

AD needs to help if he wants to continue their chase for the title. It's a rough road now for the Lakers, but not end yet.

Would anyone feel weird if Lakers missed playoffs? I am not saying that they will, but would you really be shocked? At this point a team that had championship goal by the end of the season being so bad that people wouldn't be shocked if they were not even on playoffs tells us all we need to know about that team. I mean they are just horrible, terrible, and that is with Lebron being awesome as well.

If it was a bad season for Lebron then I would understand, but he is playing one of his best seasons ever at 18th season and we are still not seeing anyone be any good around him. It really sucks to see them this way but as long as they keep Vogel there, they are going to keep being a horrible team. They need to get someone better, much better, not like some Jason Kidd or Fizdale type of deal, I mean like seriously great head coach that will turn things around.
